Hello i have been freaking out and researching this for hours. (found nothing)
What I did
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9gL_4KNs_Q
I have T-Mobile.
Now when my phone boots up it keeps shutting off. stays on for 1-5 seconds
I then did a factory reset and cleared the cache.
I can some times get it to the home screen and flip back and forth on the different screens then it shuts off. I have seen I have superuser on in the apps but don't get a lot of time to check root before it shuts off.
I do have red text on the Samsung logo screen that says "kernel is not seandroid enforced" (Spelling)
What do I do?
Safe mode also shuts off.
I can get to download mode and recovery mode
I just cant get it to stay on .
Any help would be great thanks.
Additional info
Update more info: When I factory reset. I do get an error failed to mount /preloader (no files or directory) wording might be a bit off but that's about what it says.
does it restart in recovery/download mode?
does it restart when the plug in into a charger?

I guess I should have changed the wording. Its not rebooting it just shuts off.
No It does not restart when I charge it. But it does show the battery image and charges.

me too, if it doesnt reboot while charging means possible battery issue.

Sorry for the miss communication.
Lets try this again.
I can plug the phone in and it charges while its turned off. you know the battery screen.
I can volume up, home and power For down load mode
I can volume down home and power (factory reset, cache delete so on)
I can get ODIN to connect but I cant flash the firmware I found. Maybe its the wrong firmware? Could you point me to what I need?
But when I just turn it on either charging or not it shuts it self off a few seconds later. Seems to happen after a message about auto time and date pops up. And when I say shuts down it just shuts off no like shut down screen or anything.
ok start again, please put all info so it wont be confusing:
what initiate the problem?
did you install a custom rom?
are you rooted?
what phone model are you using?
odin version?
have you tried flashing thru samsung switch? if not, try it

Update:
I just got my phone back from Samsung. On Friday they told be they didn't fix it because it was rooted and said they are mailing it back. Well now I don't have a phone so I Saturday I went and got a new s7 edge from t mobile. Its now Wednesday and I get my phone from Samsung. I open the package all bummed wondering what I am going to do with this phone. I then see the phone is in a small blue draw bag thing I thought it was cool so I open it to look at it and I see my phone light it. The sim card and tray on taped to the back of the phone but my phone is on! I then sat here looking at it waiting for it to reboot. I put my sim card. Then a screen popped up saying reboot? and I click yes . I was so mad at myself but then it restarted and everything was ok. I installed root checker and I have root access. the phone has now been on for the last hour or so. Not sure if it was something Samsung did or taking the sim card out did something.
But now I have a rooted s6 edge plus rooted and a s7 edge. and out like 600 bucks
Best solution, use Samsung's Smart Switch software (download from their site) and restore to factory ROM and kernel (official Samsung version). If it is anything software related, this will definitely fix it.
in case you dont know the steps: open smart switch, connect device (make sure its detected), got to more > emergency software recovery & initialization > Device initialization > type in your exact model name at the bottom > then serial number (make sure you type it correctly > type ok, follow instructions, and let it do its thing .
Try this and let me know how it goes. Good luck.

Stock 7.0 AT&T model, I went to sleep, forgot to plug in phone. It died in the middle of the night, and the phone refuses to boot past the s7 edge splash screen and restarts every 10-15 seconds. It also will not enter recovery mode and says "Recovery booting..." I can make it enter download mode but I have attempted almost everything I have found and I either get a binary issue or it will successfully flash but then nothing will happen and it will continue to be in this bootloop. I actually brought it to a samsung "representative" at Best buy today and she said it wasn't recognizing the phone at first then it did, and she flashed something that she didn't say what it was and then it still didn't work. She then told me to send it in to samsung but since my glass is cracked (2nd day I had it too...) they try to say that i'm at fault. I just want to know how to fix this, I haven't had my phone in 5 days, I don't care about my data cause it's all already backed up online! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried using samsung smart switch?
use samsung smart switch emergency software recovery initialization which is in the right up corner in "more". if its gonna be stuck and installing the software then connect your phone to a charger, hold volume down and power button and turn it off, this way the phone should stay turned off. then go to download mode and install s7 edge firmware from sammobile through odin

****, I forgot to mention, yes I have tried smart switch and every time I input the model number and S/N, it just closes out. Based on my research, that means initialisation isn't possible.

you'll need quick hand play
push volume down boton and power at the same time when the phone restars quick push the download mod conmbinaison and flash a stock at&t firmware you can download throught sammobile.com site;*,
edit : download the firmware throught this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-s7-edge/how-to/firmware-att-s7-edge-g935a-official-t3412312
another edit lol: don't forget to unzip downloaded files
tell me if it works
Recently, I have seen many phones with bootloop problems and, at the end, the sim card was the one to blame.
I know it's silly but have you tried booting it without the sim card and micro sd?

My Samsung galaxy note 4 isn't working anymore, i kept my phone on charge and suddenly it went into download mode, i restarted the phone by removing the battery but it went into boot loop, i watched some YouTube videos which suggest to update the firmware using odin, i tried but it ended with an error i tried again but the same error continues, i checked on sam mobile for the correct firmware and i was using the correct one, after 3 attempts i gave up and removed the battery and restarted the phone and this time it does not boot, no LED no vibration nothing, i kept it on charge but same issue, tried different battery and the same issue. Its been 2 weeks its dead completely, when i connect the phone to laptop it does make the connect sound but nothing shows in odin, nothing in my computer. I found a video on youtube which suggest to use USB jig and am unable to find that as well. Please help me if you have any other suggestions or Solution for me.

Put your phone in freezer for couple of hours without battery then take it out wipe really dry insert battery then keep pressing and hold power button for 10 seconds until it vibrates.once you see samsung note 4 logo go yo download mode and flash recovery 4files firmware with pit file you can download 4file firmware from www.tsar3000.com
This sounds weird but trust me this crazy method works with many dead note 4 like yours.
Give it a try you won't lose anything since your device is already dead.

Try this:
Flash last Firmware for you device and after Odin finish and you see your phone boot up, pull down your battery, press home+lock button+volume up, go down (with volume and lock key) and apply a Factory reset and wipe cache, and restart your unit. Good Luck!

Hi! It's my first time making a thread here so guidance is greatly appreciated. Here's how everything started:
I was just casually using my phone (at the time I was using the built-in browser of google assistant, just looking at some news) then suddenly my phone crashed (I've experienced this before every time I was using the google assistant built-in browser, a simple browser can crash this phone?). It just restarted like it normally would, then, after using the phone for a few minutes, it froze again! I waited for it to reboot but now it just powered off and won't turn on (it won't show any sign of life, no logo, not even an icon when I tried to charge). D:
I figured to have it checked by a local technician and when he tried to plug a charger in, a display showed it charged (found it weird but happy at that time). I figured it was the charger so I bought a new one.
So I got home to charge it fully and when I turned it on, it worked normally. However, when I tried to turn my wifi on, notifications popped up and suddenly it froze again! After that, it turned off and when I tried to turn it back on, I got this dreaded red texts on a black screen:
Bootloader exception ( RST_STAT = 0x10000)
Exception: do_handler_sync: DABT_EL1(esr: 0x9600010)
RDX, do not reboot*** ext4_wait_block_bitmap:494: Cannot read block bitpc : 0x8f0261d0 lr : 0x8f02618c sp : 0x8f117fd0
This showed and the phone won't even let me turn it off, so I just waited for the battery to die out. When it did, I tried to charge it again and planned to do a factory reset thinking maybe an app was causing this. I managed to go to the no command icon and manual mode but no factory reset menu showed up (where you navigate using the volume up and down). So I tried to restart but now it died out completely- no button combination would work, it won't charge, no display can be seen. Is it hard bricked?
I tried to wait a whole day thinking I would be able to charge it again, but it has already been three days and I am not able to perform anything.
There it is, I tried to be as detailed as possible. Additional info: I never tried rooting it or flash roms with it, I haven't done anything with the software (or hardware since I am careful) but install apps (officially from the playstore). From how I see it, it's a firmware problem and I was hoping someone here can help me bring my phone back to life. Is this my fault? If I have this repaired, am I the one who should pay for this?
I mainly want to know what the error message means and if there is a way for me to access the phone. (I figured if I have the technician fix this, all they need is a computer with a software that could fix this since it's a problem with the firmware. If that's everything they would do then I could do that too, with your help of course.)
Thanks to all in advance!
Hi. This sounds pretty strange. Technically...it is hard bricked but you can bring it to life. I can tell you what I would do, when I run into such a problem.
ATTENTION: YOU WILL LOOSE ALL OF YOUR DATA EXPECT EXTERNAL SD CARD
First download the newest firmware for your S7 Edge (G-935FD) on SamMobile and unpacking the .zip.
Download Odin in the newest version, open it and put the downloaded files in the right order in Odin (BL, AP, CP and CSC - the files from the firmware from SamMobile has labeling with BL, AP etc.)
Now the tricky part because your phone won't charge and doesn't go on. You have to go in the download mode with your phone (press and hold volume down - home button - power button) than an window appears and press volume up
Connect your phone with your PC (in Odin you can see, that your device is connected) and press start. It will take some time transferring the ROM and your phone will reboot automatically and after some minutes of blinking Samsung logo...the phone should start normally into the SIM card pattern screen.
Now you have a fresh stock ROM installed and everything should work fine again.
But your phone won't get on or will charge...maybe when you connect it to your PC it will charge. Otherwise I see no option to solve your problem. Your phone must charge again that you can go into the download mode and bring your S7 Edge back to life with a clean stock firmware and an working system.
Hi. Browsed for ages and always come here for answers.
Here's my problem.
2x S8s. SM-950f.
Updated to most recent software through software update. Both phones were glitchy and crashing and just generally irritating after.
Factory data reset etc. This did not resolve the problems, also led to one of them having issues with FRP (annoying)
Used Odin to try and flash the latest firmware (from sammobile, UK BTU) after flashing both, they reset and powered on. Got stuck at the S8 screen.
Restarted then both were at the "an error occurred during update" screen.
Managed to get back to download screen. Re checked the software and model numbers, even that the bootloader was the correct version etc. All was fine.
Connected to Odin, shows that it is connected, but nothing happens when clicking start.
Now after attempting that, both phones will not power on.
(One will when placed on the wireless charger, but just sticks at S8 screen) and download mode or reset screen can not be accessed. So, not exactly happy. And totally out of ideas
Any suggestions, beyond taking it to a shop to see if anyone can help.
yes .....dont tuch the phones for 24 hours let the battery die ...it will...connect to pc and then try download mode....u may need to press combination for like 1 minute to get to download mode....flash twrp reboot directly into it when odin says successfully .....wipe system data ....dont turn on phone download any custom rom flash and enjoy.....it will trip knox but worth than getting a new board....
Okay, will give that a try.
TWRP?
TWRP install

Just said, wait until your device powers off due battery insufficience. Plug cable and hold at the same moment vol(down)+bixby+power. Then press vol(up) at the warning screen to proceed to odin mode. Let it charging a while like 1 h. Then unplug it and plug it to your pc. In Odin select ap the previous downloaded file. Take your mobile in your hand. With one hand, prepare your fingers to vol(up)+bixby and with the other hand start the flashibg process. Be careful, and take your hand directly from the mouse if you clicked start in odin, and position your one finger to power button, but dont click. If odin start pass, press immidiately the buttons (vol(up)+bixby+power) and let it to start into recovery. If you arrived to recovery, reply to us if not search for help!!!
Good luck

Am I being dumb.
No files appear that Odin will recognise.
Also just shows as "recovery" no .tar or anything
Ignore above. Corrupted download.
Sorted.

Not sure what stage your at and maybe some more useless ideas
1. Trying to flash twrp is kinda of useless if you can't get into your system need oem unlock for that.
2. Have you tried taking out Sim card and SD card and reboot.
3. If you can at least boot try smart switch as it has a emergency recovery option.
4. Trying rebooting in safe mode.
All been attempted
I was going along ok until I made the fatal error of transferring the Magisk patched file to PC via MTP instead of taking the time to re-learn adb, which must have corrupted it. Thus predictably Odin hung and I am in trouble.
Where I am stuck is being unable to turn the phone off to come back in download mode to start over with stock firmware. I have been unable to find any secret button presses, and the battery doesn't seem to want to die leaving me with an $800 paperweight.
I did search around for this first and didn't find any real answers. Has anyone found an effective solution to this problem? Thanks.

Thank you, but the PC won't recognize the device. What does happen is the emergency recorevy screen tries to come up. I tried starting in download mode with bixby+vol down then USB. I did get the battery low enough where I don't get the teal screen of death anymore, perhaps it is too low for USB to work? What I was hoping for was the charging animation but no luck. Surely this is just a software problem and there is a way out.

Just load the stock firmware BL, Ap, cp and home csc into Odin if you see emergency teal screen. The emergency screen will start loading
Black screen ....Perhaps your battery is dead?
Thank you all for the replies. I had let the battery get low in a misguided attempt (based on advice elsewhere) to get it to shut off. I had to let it charge a while for it to wake up enough for PC to see it. Then I was able to flash in Emergency Recovery mode.
Thank you for the help.

Glad you got your device up and running ?
Maybe someone can help me. I seemed to have borked my phone. I kept getting "Google is Stopping" with no way to fix it, so I tried reflashing my firmware in odin. After I loaded all the files and hit start, I realized I didn't untick auto reboot, so I tried aborting the installation and ended up with screen (I've had it before and got out of it by still flashing in Odin, but now, if I try to reflash firmware while in this screen, it's stuck on SYSTEM in odin.
Any help appreciated!
Try this
That is where I got stuck. Are you trying to flash stock or patched firmware? I had to start over with stock as I copied the patched via MTP instead of adb and it got corrupted.
I think what I did was unplug and reset Odin. Wait for screen to turn off, then make sure it is at least 80% charged. Then Bixby + Vol Down + plug in and you will go back to this screen. Then I was able to flash stock. I had to go so far as to re-lock bootloader and flash stock again since my "OEM Unlocking" was not just greyed out but missing. Since then I've had no time to try again, but at least I have a working phone.
This is my anecdotal procedure, can't say if it is the right or best one.
Hi All,
I was trying to flash the latest firmware for my device (G9750ZCU2ASG4) and during the odin process, my computer restarted which failed the update halfway through. I rebooted the computer, tried again, and it was trying to establish a connection for a really long time, so I disconnected my phone from the USB port on my computer, and held Power and Volume Down to try and force reboot the phone. I was going to try and go back into download mode to restart the process. My phone mentioned something about needing to do an emergency recovery, but I continued to hold down the power and volume down keys and then everything went black on the phone.
I've tried multiple USB cords, all of the button commands known for the device, and have even tried to perform the emergency mode recovery on my device, but it seems like it's in some sort of locked state; What I mean is the phone is stuck on a black screen. I can't "boot" into recovery or into download mode. The phone doesn't even vibrate when I hold the power button or power and down to try and force reboot it. Odin doesn't recognize the phone when I plug it into the computer nor does the device manager on my windows computer.
Does anyone have any experience with this sort of issue or any idea of what else I can do to try and get into download mode to flash my firmware again? All help, suggestions, or comments regarding this are much appreciated.
Sounds like the battery is dead
Hi Dude, I am struggling with the same problem, read this post and it came to me, had to come back and give you the solution.
Press bixby+volume down, IMMEDIATELY after the screen goes off, hold volume up and down while connecting the USB cable super fast.
You have got like 10ms to do it
Otherwise it just goes back to the AVB FAIL screen
Ran into this issue, none of the above worked for me.
This is how I resolved:
1) Placed phone on wireless charging mat and let it boot to emergency recovery screen
2) Load TWRP into AP slot of Odin and leave the window open on your computer ready to flash
3) Connect phone to computer whilst it's on the mat and press start in Odin as soon as your device appears
It may fail a few times but if your quick you can install TWRP.
4) Now boot into recovery and let your phone charge to a reasonable level (above 20%)
5) Boot into Download mode and flash your desired rim via Odin
