I have G37 2013. Phone pairs but won't let me to enable media audio. I can make and receive calls. Had no issues with S6 edge. I have wiped bluetooth share cache, I unpaired and paired again. I went into recovery and wiped cache their too. This is killing me I would like to stream my music!! Any other suggestions or ideas?
My only problem is that there is no text on my car display. Pairing works perfect. At my old S4 text is there.
my guess is that the older headunit doesnt support the new version of bluetooth and the way it send the Audio data, that is the problem with my headunit anyway

Have an issue with my S5 bluetooth. When i connect it to my bluetooth speaker and play youtube etc via wireless the music keeps skipping and becomes distorted. The same speaker works fine with my Nexus tablet and a cheap android phone I have. If i use my data connection it's fine but as soon as i connect via my home wi-fi again the music again becomes distorted.
Anyone experienced similar or have any ideas what might be causing this.
S5 is on stock Three Uk rom and is unrooted.
Did you switch to art from dalvik. I have the same problem with Bluetooth and my car stereo. I switched to art, wondering if that's the issue.

Hi there, i got OP5 with latest OOS 4.5.13, blu_spark kernel 4.4.21 and blu_spark twrp 3.3.1
experiencing a strange behaviour with blurtooth of my car. Pairing works perfectly and connection works without problems. Calls audio working perfectly but the other multimedia audio from the phone doesn't work. No audio from the car stereo.Already tried re-pairing several times, clearing bluetooth cache and data and clearing data cache from recovery without result. In the bluetooth settings i have all 3 checkboxes on (multimedia audio, call audio, contact list). Eveything working good with other bluetooth devices (i.e. deewear fly dark headsets)
anyone else experienced a similar problem? is there a workaround to fix it?
tia,

after many tries deleting and re-pairing, bluetooth in my car magically started to work. Don't ask me why..
I have this problem all the time with my BT earphones. It'll "pair," but without multimedia audio. I just turn it off and on and it usually fixes. I've been blaming my BT earphones, as I've never had this problem with my Beats Studio BT headphones.
Hello everyone. I am enjoying my s10+. I don't have any issues with it except for one. I can't get Bluetooth audio to activate on my jvc double din in my car. The model is kw-340bt. On my pixel 3 xl it works with no problem. My s10+ can connect to the unit but it only lets me make phone calls. When I go to it in Bluetooth settings the audio option is off. When I try to turn it on it attempts to turn on then turns off. It will not come on. I have even reset my unit to factory settings and still the same thing happens. Does anyone have any other options I can try?
Yeah I'm having trouble myself with my ps4 controller, it connects but doesnt do anything! And even if I turn off the bluetooth it doesnt disconnect! What hell Samsung. It's so bad I have to force close / clear and data/ cache on bluetooth system app.
This happened to someone I knew when they used smart switch upgrading from their S5 to the S8+and moved over their settings. Unfortunately a factory reset was all they could find to fix it.
This may sound weird but I had problems getting my TV to connect. I had to go through the new Smartthings app, look for nearby devices. When I tapped on the TV it downloaded something and then I could connect.
Audio track data not updating on Bluetooth car audio head unit
Same. My previous phone (LG V20) was a breeze to connect via Bluetooth to car audio (Subaru Impreza MY15) & happily displayed the track information for my audio collection.
Fast forward to the new S10+ (exynos) & while it connects for audio, track information is only displayed for the first track & remains on-screen without change.
I've gone into developer options, and while I can change the Bluetooth AVRCP Versions from AVRCP 1.3, AVRCP 1.4 (default), AVRCP 1.5 & AVRCP 1.6, the Bluetooth Audio Codec Selection always defaults back to SBC.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Better yet, does anyone have a fix that I could apply???

Every phone that I have ever had always goes back to default with the audio options. I never understood why. They give you options but you can't use the options. Makes no sense.
Hi! Just got my new Mi 9T a week ago, and really happy with it (coming from an S9+), but no matter what I try (of course I did a hard reset also), my Bluetooth audio streaming keeps stopping over my car audio system, both Spotify and YouTube. I have a 2018 Ford edge and had no issues with my previous phone, and the 9T has no issues over other Bluetooth devices...any ideas? Thanks to all in advance!
Sorry, no problem with streaming Spotify over Bluetooth to my 2019 Audi Q3.
Mine also works with Audi
I've also problems with Spotify in my car (Skoda Octavia) and also on my Bluetooth headphones. While running with headphones Spotify stops playing, but my running app is still using it. So the problem is maybe with Spotify and not Bluetooth.
I've played with battery management and data, but it haven't solved the issue.
Have you prevented the app from battery optimization on both two places within miui?
You can also try to manually change the used Bluetooth protocol within developer settings.
Oh dear... I bought a new phone (mi9t) because my old one (leeco le max2) have bluetooth issues with my car (chevrolet mylink on a camaro ss). On one day it's working fine, the next day I get reconnects every 5 seconds. I've tried a lot of things including other roms (but still PIE), resetting phone, deleting cache and repairing both devices. Without success.
I'll get my 9t this week, so I can test it myself.
What I want to say with this comment is.... I've encountered similar problems with other phones.
Try changing the Bluetooth version in developer options. It fixed a few small issues I was having with my JVC car stereo.
Hi guys, My car astra j (2011) and the dvd800 car media. If connected the Mi9T ,then everything fine .I can call .But ,if i have a incoming call ,when i pick up the call, then is 10 s latency. They don't hear me ,and i don't hear them.Any idea?
Same here (no sound from my phone's microphone) through any bluetooth device. any ideas?
I installed an atoto A6 headunit and everything seems to work fine except bluetooth1. It worked for a phone call but if I try to stream music or audible from my phone then it instantly disconnects and reconnects. It shows the title of the media on the headunit but just won't play it. I've tried clearing the data in all the Bluetooth system apps and it didn't help. Wasn't sure if theres a way to clear the BT Music app data though. It doesn't show in the apps installed and clearing the data in the other Bluetooth apps doesn't clear my phone from the paired device list so I don't think I'm actually clearing any data. Not sure what to do now
