Hello together,
I run into a big problem. I deciced to try out ZUI, so I converted my international Z1 (from unofficial cm13) to ZUI. I converted to ZUI 0.9 and all was working. Updating to latest Android 5.1.1 based rom also worked. After I updated to the 6.0 based ZUI rom, the connection isnt working anymore.
I´m tested it with the latest 6.0 ZUI ST and with the latest ZUI DEV both had no wifi.
I installed ZUI 0.9 via QFIL without problems.
Hope you have ideas
EDIT: I created an error log via adb bugreport. I logged when I clicked to connect to my wifi network.
error log: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?res...3165&authkey=!ALLtyj116BBeW9E&ithint=file,txt
FINALLY: Ok I fixed it: I changed the security from WPA2-PSK to a open network then it worked. After that was working I changed back to WPA2-PSK and voila all was running normally. Very strange but I´m happy that I can use ZUI with latest version now
use that

Same with that method. The 5.1 build works without problems. After updating via zip OR via ota to 6.1.1 (ZUI 1.6.225), the wifi stops working.

Hi,
I tried to post on this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1838391
but the forum didn't allow me as I didn't post 10 replies yet
Yesterday I've flashed my P6800 with the latest version: AROMA 2.55 27Dec2012 found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35953842&postcount=1817
before that, my tab was on android 3.2 .. and I was able to access 64-bit WEP WiFi with no problems at all !
But now, I can't ... It sees the AP with excellent signal, asks me for the password, tries to connect (The signal changes to poor/fair while trying to connect only !!!)... then it's says "Saved" and the signal is excellent again... without actually being connected ! and when I try to connect again, it does nothing at all !
I have to try to connect to another AP/router in order to make it try to actually connect again to my WEP WiFi !
I can't change the security encryption of my AP as I'm using four 3Com routers with WDS enabled and that feature only works with WEP
How did I flash my tab?
1. root
2. CWM
3. flash new rom (no wipe at all)
4. restart
5. wipe whatever required to be wiped
6. flash new rom again (allowing wiping again.. and restart)
There's an UI patch fix that I should do after finishing the initial setup wizard which requires connecting to the internet to sign into Google account
Thank you for your efforts
My baseband version: P6800XXKL2
I tried the factory reset and cache wipe now... didn't work !
I'm now back again to android 3.2 ... Kies doesn't allow me to update to ICS !
I'm downloading now XSG rom ... the baseband version is also different.. but I have to try !
anyone please, which rom would you suggest for P6800 XXKL2 ?
Thank you in advance ?
Daniel_hk sent me this:
Your baseband is too old. I uploaded a new one for you.

You may flash it with Odin or mobile odin. Put the file in the Phone part of Odin and flash.
Goodluck!

I had to upgrade to ICS official XSG manually... but having problems with WiFi being drops from time to time forcing me to turn it off and on to make it work each time !
I'll try this modem bin !
Now I'm using the official ICS firmware for XSG region... now I can access the WEP WiFi but I have to toggle the WiFi Off/On nearly every hour !
I tried your modem.bin file on that ICS firmware but still have to toggle hourly !
Hello All,
I have upgraded LG G2 to
LP 5.0.2
BB : M8974A-AAAANAZM-1.0.190128
Kernel : 3.4.0
Build : LRX22g
Software Version : v30-eur-xx
i am facing consistent WiFi issue after switching on it gets stuck at Wifi Turning on but does not connect.
It has got an MAC address. sometimes very rarely it may connect to WiFi but then disconnects after 3-4 minutes.
I have tried clear cache, factory reset but problem still there, has anyone faced similar issue and can help me here
many thanks
Did you have a problem before upgrading? If not, then it's unlikely to be a hardware issue and something could have gotten messed up in the update process.
If I were you, I would TOT back to KK following THIS GUIDE. After it installs, do a factory reset. After it restarts, then update to the latest ota and factory reset once more. That will get you a clean install as possible.
Btw, have you tried connecting to another wifi access point? Sometimes networks can be setup incorrectly(ie two routers with dhcp enabled on one network) which can cause problems.

Hello Stan54, I rooted my LG G2 last year and was on Kitkat, phone was running fine since that, in December I installed nova launcher and couple of other applications but not able to find the log. After that I started having this issue. One peculiar thing is it can start it's hotspot correctly and I can connect my PC to phone's hotspot WiFi SSID and bluetooth is fine as well but only Wifi keeps stuck at "Turning on" mode.
Since then i have
1. Flashed it to stock JB ROM {Using LG Flash tool}
2. Upgraded to LP5.0.2 using LG PC Suite
still the issue remains
one slight improvement I saw after that is
1. It connects to WiFi for a minute or 2 then goes to "Turning Wifi on" mode
I will try to go back to KK and follow steps as suggested and update.
thanks
Edit : I have tried connecting to other WiFi networks as well, same issue.

Hi I followed the flash to stock --> factory reset --> OTA upgrade to LP 5.0.2 --> factory reset still have the Wifi issue.
really need some help?
hello Folks any help, really desperate to get my phone fixed.
Hi Guys,
I got my pixel XL a few days ago, and wanted to setup my X style for my girlfriend. Flashed the stock 6.0.1 (RETEU) firmware on it, and now the damn thing won't connect to my wifi (which is on channel 13, and always was) anymore. No matter what modem I flash, or whatever ROM (that worked in the past, as I used this phone for a year and a half without wifi issues) I flash, it doesn't want show my network essid . Even tried with the asian firmware, but nothing works...
Anyone any ideas?
I flashed AICP 7.1, and by editing build.prop & wpa_supplicant.conf, I was able to get my network going. Flashing back stock EU system and boot image, lost it again. Doing the same trick didn't work here.
Anyone?
another update: when I put the wifi to channel 12, it still didn't work. When I put it to channel 4, finally it connects. Would still love an explanation, so I can go back to channel 13 which is less crowded...
Do you have the EU modem installed only my understanding is that in the US, both channel 12 and 13 are not generally used, so if you have a US modem installed still from some previous custom non-EU rom, that might be the culprit.
I flashed (already several times) the modem firmware from the reteu 6.0.1 zip (via fastboot flash modem). Anything else i could be missing?
Hello community,
I am asking your knowledge about a recent Bootloader Update.
Long story short : I was running my hero2lte on a rooted custom ROM for about 2 years and recently decided to upgrade to the latest android as the threads on this forum were showing good feedbacks.
I was on Android 8.0.0 with Baseband G935FXXU3ERHC . Everything was doing perfectly fine expect some little freezes mainly caused by Xposed Framework :cyclops:.
So One Day♪ baby w'will be old♬ I decided to jump in and install the Latest LineageOS 16 (that was early Augustus 2019)
The instructions on the thread ask to get the latest Bootloader and Modem. What I did from SamMobile. Here
I flashed those two files with Odin 3.13.3 and it PASSED flawlessly.
Then I Wiped everything and went thro the Aroma install process, re-root, and finally booted my Rom. But when the phone started I realized my Bluetooth was not working. I tried to pair many bluetooth devices.
Here is what I already tried to get my bluetooth back :
1. I tried different ROMs --> bluetooth very unstable or not connecting at all
2. I tried to flash other Modems version but they all gave me this problem --> My sim card is not detected
3. I tried to flash many different (compatible) older Bootloaders --> Odin FAILS to flash and my phone become almost bricked with them all. (Have to flash back BL and Modem from sammobile FXXU5ESD2)
My phone is G935F International version (with latest TWRP).
I'm am now using lastest LightROM Android 9.0 and it is very stable !! But I can't get my bluetooth to connect any device, or even when it does connect, the volume goes crazy or it disconnects randomly.
Also Mobile Network is showing 4G instead of 4G+ but that not a big deal.
My actual Bootloader information :
Current Binary : Custom
System Status : Custom
FRP Lock : OFF
Secure Mode : Enable
Warranty Void : 1 ( of course)
RP SWREV : B:5 K:3 S:4
Any help or hint would be strongly appreciated

I flashed another version from SamMobile (this version XEF)
PDA G935FXXS5ESF8 and CSC G935FOXA5ESF8
Booted it, no problem, I was on Android 8.0.0 unrooted as predicted. Bluetooth working as usual on 8.X Android versions.
Installed TWRP again, Rooted again.
Than I did a clean install of BlackDiamond v4.0.
MY BLUETOOTH IS WORKING FLAWLESSLY ON ANDROID PIE. :feelsgooodman:
This post can be deleted of left here in case someone has the same problem one day.
Hi!
I just flashed old G3 with LineageOS 18.1
Everything works just fine until today. It suddenly stopped connecting to WiFi and won't connect anymore.
I tried flashing CyanogenMod 14 but the problem persists.
So everytime I tried connecting to WiFi, it only shows "Connecting...." then "Saved"
Did I just broke something here? Tried searching the forum but i have no luck either.
(I've tried following this thread too, still failed)
Anybody has experienced this before?
Tried this but didn't see any MID Settings, cannot uncheck / generate anything. Only REFRESH.
so install android Marshmallow than follow these steps:
1- on dial pad : *#546368#*855# (855 is for D855 and so)
2- find and click SCV Menu
3-click on CRCWIZARD Test
4-click the tab Auto MID
5- uncheck IMEI in MID settings
6- click generate to generate your new MAC's
7- click MID write
8-Click Refresh to be sure that you changed MAC adress
9-Rebbot phone to take effect!

Hey Friend.
It doesn't have to be your device, it's the Lineage 18.1.
it was the same for me... "only saved" but no connection possible.
The LAN didn't work for me even after the successful installation.
No 2.4 Ghz and no 5 Ghz, although password etc. was all 100% correct.
My AVM Fritzbox 6660 Cable is set to WAN WPA2/WPA3.
I need to change that to only WPA2 CWP option, only then could my LG-G3-D855 with Lineage 18.1 use it successfully.
It's the fault of the Lineage programmers !!! something like that simply shouldn't happen with an Android 11.
I had previously installed the old Fulmics 6.9 on the LG G3 D855 and there were no problems with the Fritzbox 6660 Cable and FritzOS 7.29 installed on it, neither in 2.4 nor in 5 Ghz.
Only this LineageOS 18.1 requires the old WPA2 CWP encryption on the Fritzbox 6660 Cable. Ok, so there are no disadvantages for other devices that I still have, such as iPad and iPhone etc. they can also handle the WPA2 CWP.
Still, isn't it okay that such a well-developed Android 11 can't do WPA2/WP3, or is it just LineageOS 18.1 that doesn't? Can the original Android 11 work with it ??
