I have NR9001 and found that its rear camera picture quality not equal to original HU (previous is Caska wince), even resolution is better (1024x600 compared to 800x480).
What can be reason? is there any way to improve picture quality or NR9001?

Hello there,
I use Ateksoft Coolcamera with Webcamera plus, you can ajust a lot of settings with this software!
Goodluck, Leo
Thanks. I Use It Too , But It Haven't Performance Too.
In my opinion, if you want a camera you should buy a camera.
All HTC devices I've seen (and I have seen quite a few) have had really poor cameras. The 2MP in my phone actually has a mechanical focusing mechanism, and it performs admirably in medium-light (e.g. 60W incandescent bulbs) but it's not a patch on my 5MP camera.
For a cheap but very reasonable quality digital camera, have a look for the Megxon C580.
Hi guys, i just buy the touch hd, but i´m very disappointed with the camera video performance and the picture aswell.
How it´s possible that the camera has 5 megapixel against the 3,2 megapixel of iphone 3gs and perform so much worst ?
Is there any kind of solution for this ?
Cos megapixels have nothing to do with quality on a camera this small. It's all about the lens.
hello, i own a inew i6000+ mobile and it said to have a 8mp camera but the site antelife.com has one model of it but they have only the 5mp front facing camera. Originally the phone should have 8mp but this one has 5mp. Just incase i need to return it, before i would like to open the phone and check out all camera specs myself without the need for a software.
As far as i know it is using medtek 6592 chipset with 8 cpu's and 4 cores. Not sure if the camera (front and back) are related to the chipset or processor.
I need to see the curcuit for the camera. So what is it really? a lense, is there a seperate micro processor for the camera as well?
Or is the camera just a peice of small / micro hardware with its own curcuitry and some wires and lense + light?
I know how camera works i just am unsure about the resolution for the camera and i need to check it hardware wise. So if i can take the cam aprt by opening or desoldering it from the board. How is that possble.
The camera module is a separate unit and has nothing to do with the processor.
You may be able to identify the Mega Pixels by Googling the model or part number of the camera module.
Can you turn on the phone? If you can, you should be able to just take a picture and examine the size of the photo.
The easiest way to figure this out is by taking a picture and multiplying the horizontal resolution by the vertical resolution. That will tell you how many megapixels the image is. For example, 3264x2448 resolution = 7.9 MP (7.9 million pixels).

Hi all,
I´m looking for a SmartWatch with a high (or not poor) quality camera for video recording. I was thinking that ZGPAX S8 could be OK but it seems that the video quality is poor.
I have seen that the Samsung Gear S2 has 720p video quality but it could record 15 seconds clips and has an only 300 mAh battey.
Anybody knows the SmartWatch I´m looking for?
Thanks a lot.
Best regard.
I am looking for the same.
What is the smartwatch that record with the best video quality at the moment?
Anyone?

I have an old ZGPAX S8 with 3Mp camera. It's contain an OV3660 CMOS sensor.
The quality not to good. It's record a foolish 864x480 resolution, but 1:1 ratio video.Video length not limited by software. The optic quality also not to good. Newer S8 come with 2Mp camera,i think the quality better and the aspect is 4:3,but only 480p if i right. You can see my best photos with s8 here, but i haven't got video at this moment.
Thanks a lot!
About the SAMSUNG GEAR 2 seems like it have an acceptable quality. But is there any way to record video from it WITHOUT pairing it to a phone?
Hi, I've acquired 2 HTC Wildfires.
image quality are different for each of them
one is not so good, I've cleaned the lens: it isn't that. have taken pictures rotating the camera: it's the same, pictures still out of focus left and bottom: must be a software issue.
this forum images from other people, some are not so good, others seem very good.
is there a way to transfer the exact software from my good phone to the spare phone.
Or is it luck of the draw if you get a really good quality camera?
I have some images showing a comparison of the images, but can't post them yet until I have posted 10 posts.
