No dead pixels on mine yet. If they are bothering you, you should exchange your phone from where you bought it.
I have a pixel on te bottom right corner which stays white. The weird thing is, its not a dead pixel because if i turn the screen side ways the pixel moves to the bottom right corner again ( bottom left corner of the phone) an if i take a screen shot and zoom in on it, you'll see it in the screenshot too. I really don't understand how thats possible...
And i have a galaxy S7, not the edge.

So my wife got me the SM-T230NU for my birthday (end of September.) The screen quality isn't as expected. Seems like when I'm trying to read basic black text on white the screen is very grainy looking and hard to read. I went into Accessibility, changed the contrast size to medium, and manually adjusted the contrast. This seemed to help a little. In addition I seem to have, what I would say, is a lot of screen bleeding towards the upper right hand corner. No biggie, most devices have some. Unfortunately though what I just saw really concerns me. While doing a software update, it was on the black recovery screen with the android. I saw a smudge on the screen so I went to wipe it off. When I did so, about a quarter of the way down dead center, the screen started to flicker in an area about half inch tall and quarter inch wide. So I kept touching areas all around it and basically anywhere I touch on the upper half of the screen causes this. Have any of you ever experienced this before? If so, do you think this means that the screen is bad? I was going to just call Samsung but I wanted to see if anyone else had this on theirs. I couldn't find anything on Google. Thanks in advance!!
Hi guys,
Received my 6P today and noticed that the screen is slightly loose on the bottom left corner. It moves slightly if i pay close attention and push down with a bit of force.
Here is a picture where you can see the black of the screen slightly higher on the left side compared to the right.

Anyone else have this on any corners of their device?
Get a replacement. That is defective. Over time that will become a problem
Hi guys nd gals, I recently received a ota update last week, must of been an android one I think as I'm still running 5.1.1 stock, anyway after I installed the update my lock screen has a weird tint on the top & bottom, it's greenish on top about 1cm from top of screen and the full width, on the bottom it's grayish and again about 1cm up and whole width, is this a android thing? It's awful to say the least, maybe a bug? I really don't know, cant seem to get rid of it now matter what I try... using s6 edge plus. . Can I upload photos on here? Thanx. ..Darren
From a month ago to this time I've been having some ghost touches on my LG G2. The weird thing though is that there seems to be a region of dead pixels (a yellow spot) on the left side of the screen. Also, the lower part of my screen is pulling apart. When I press it, I get ghost touches in a straight line in the same direction of the dead pixel spot. How are these things related and how can I fix my problem? In the pics you can see the deal pixel, the lower part of the screen that is coming off and the dot representing the ghost touches that I'm getting always in that horizontal line.
Hello,
After I received the latest update which enabled more options like gamma in display settings I've noticed while browsing that on a full screen white background the edges tends to drop somehow a gray shadow.
While I think this is kind of normal because of the edge curvature, looking straight in the center of the phone, the right shadow is somehow more pronounced than the left one.
If I move the phone a bit to the left or turn it few degrees to the left, the right shadow disappears while the left is starting to be pronounced.
Also when I look at the phone horizontal, with the usb connector on the right side, the bottom edge doesn't exhibit any pronounced shadow while the top can be seen. The top shadow is the previously right one.
If I turn it with the usb connector on the left, the bottom shadow is visible while is also the top one. Previously the bottom was not visible.
I was thinking maybe this is how the crystals are aligned like in a tn screen when looking from bellow the center screen the top starts to get darken, but from left to right not top to bottom on s8 plus.
I know it's not a tn screen but still, maybe this technology has a small drawback.
I went in 2 retail shops to check their displayed testing phones.
One of them had a smaller gray shadow on the right side than mine, but had a very faded red shadow on the left side. While the other seemed somehow equal on shadows, I couldn't figure it out better because of the blue neon lights in the store. The best can be seen at home during the night or in moderate day light. Anyway when I put my hands around the screen it seemed to have a bit more shadow on right side but less than mine, but no faded red on left side. Also I noticed that the white was different on all 3 of them, but this is not an issue.
Did someone else can also test this shadow behaviour if it is more pronounced on the right than on the left side and also if it's not visible at the bottom with the usb port at the right while is visible top and bottom with the usb connector on the left ?
Thanks
