has anyone tried some of the call recorder apps to see if both ends/streams are able to be recorded?

Not sure about other recording apps. But the ACR app does not work yet on my S7 edge. It worked perfectly on the S6 edge. Hopefully it can be updated to work.
This is with the Snapdragon version, I can't speak on Exynos.

thx, mine arrives in a few days so I'll try all the apps out and see.
Just tested ACR on my S7 Edge (with Exynos) and it worked fine. The recording of my voice was a little quiet but still loud enough to hear. The other end of the phone was loud and clear.
I tried Automatic Call Recorder on a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (Exynos variant) and it worked just fine
The call recording app from Skvalex working flawlessly for me.

I just downloaded and tried the trial version on S7 edge Snapdragon through Tmobile and it isnt working right for me. It will record, but through the mic which results in the other end being very quiet and if i mute then it records nothing. Is there a setting i need to change to get it working right?
I used to use Call Recorder by Killer mobile, however on the S7 edge it is doing the same thing and recording though the mic as opposed to full two sided recording.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
just heard total recall from killer mobile works perfectly with the exynos version of samsung s7 edge , can anyone here please try and confirm the same [ as to whether the rec n both sides is clear or not]
It appears call recording only works on Exynos variants. Snapdragon phones got it bad this year.

T-mobile makes many limitations in the phones...
The CSC Mod Call recording allowed entry works for me.

I've tried all the best rated call recorder on my Galaxy s7 edge, none work. Had no problems with my Galaxy Note 4. Help? Desperately need another working app.
well ive now tested my g935F and it works loud and clear, both ends, with call recorder from app dev ViktorDegt. its been quite stable for a good years use on the Innos D6000.

ACR dev here, I've been tracking this issue related to American version of S7/Edge
It looks like this is more to do with Android 6 firmware for US. As previously working phones such as S6/Edge stops supporting call recording with Samsung Android 6 for US
I have a s7 and a S7 edge and both are US SD820. AT&T to be exact. Both are able to record calls with Call Recorder by Skvalex. Im only getting my side of the conversation while on bluetooth. With Bluetooth off, both sides are recording just fine. As I'm on the road for the entire day, I need the bluetooth functionality to work. Has anyone successfully recorded both sides of the call over bluetooth with any of these apps on a snapdragon model?

Ive tried just about ever one thats offered, none work on my new Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Very dissapointed as i used my call recorder alot on my previous Samsung phones. Any suggestions besides rooting? I Believe this is a Snapdragon issue, Edges with Xynos don't seem to have this problem.

Hi!
I'm using the N910F Snapdragon variant in Vodafone Romania Network. The phone came from Vodafone with their firmware.
The problem is that I cannot hear my friends with HD Voice compatible phones in HD mode when I call them from this Note4.
I tested with an Galaxy S5 and HD voice works.
There is something to be activated in my note 4?
Thanks!
Anyone?
Samsung Galaxy Note 4, N910F(Snapdragon)
I think you need LTE on. There's a setting in phone settings about VoLTE. When HD voice is on, during a call in the upper left it will say HD.

I got that HD icon for the first time today while on a call. I thought the person was talking right into my ear literally lol. That's what made me take a look at the phone to see that HD icon. Super awesome.
The European versions doesn't have VoLTE option in the software. As for I know the HD icon appears only in the devices with VoLTE option integrated in firmware.

After having my Galaxy S7 for 3 days I finally realized that my call recording app wasn't working. And this is due to the feature setting in the app that chose voice recording (which allows the whole conversation to record) the only option it worked on was Mic setting. but then it only records me clearly and only if the other side of the conversation is super extra loud and echoing out the ear piece it will pic them up but can't really hear them. I have a feeling it is a software blocking but i cannot figure out how to get around it. I have tried 5 different recording apps and all the same. anyone have suggestions?
Same here! been using Automatic Call Recorder Pro on my S6 with no problems. I hope we don't need root.

For some carriers it's been disabled with the S7 and S7 Edge. For example, I am with Telstra in Australia. Before I had my S7 I had the S6 Edge Plus and was able to use video calling feature (which was only just over a month ago). Now no video calling. Confirmed by Telstra that's it's disabled for now. However - I got around this by using the TEKXnesis Hybrid S7 Edge ROM. I've tested all the other ROM's but this is the only variant that actually works. On a couple of the other ROM's it's there but it drops the call. Using this ROM I now have video calling again *working*, plus many other fantastic features that the Dev has incorporated. :good:
Yes, it does trip KNOX counter.
Yes, it can void warranty.
Do I care? No. Telstra provides a replacement warranty for any hardware issues. I'd just flash the stock Telstra ROM if it was working, if not working they just replace anyways... I've already had one replaced that I dropped and cracked the screen (most Telstra users have insurance as part of the plan).
I'm getting my S8 in a couple days and I just heard there is no longer the video chat feature. That's a feature I love on my S7. Please tell the S8 has video chat.
Google duo
Facebook, Whatsapp, Google Hangouts..... How many more do you want?
Do you mean video calling? I use it everyday on my S8. When making a call, there is a video call option.
I have video calling available and working on international s8 model.

Video Calling wasn't available on Unlocked US model when I used it with T-Mobile service. I had to flash it to T-Mobile firmware to get that + few other features.

So T-Mobile has some features built in to their firmware, I guess. The Video calling, Advanced Messaging and Digits service which is built into the phone app are all available when you purchase T-Mobile version of the phone or at least as I did by flashing their firmware. Other users can flash to their carrier's firmware and possibly get some additional features that aren't available on unlocked firmware.
Very specific crowd this is geared towards, any one with AT&T and a Galaxy Watch 3 LTE? Want to now if the call forwarding is working, it should since it has VoLTE but just checking.

You'd need to pair it properly so I'd guess you'd need to pair it whilst it's in a galaxy. Kind of had the same issue with an activ LTE and couldn't pair with my Huawei P20 pro. Watch LTE was paid for but wouldn't work on it's own without the phone via Bluetooth.
Now unless Samsung hates Huawei (probably does) and doesn't mind Oneplus (no Idea)
Then it could just work off the bat with the galaxy wear app, but I would expect the same issues I had.
As I said one way around it would be to set up the watch with a galaxy (swap out SIM) then change back to the OnePlus. That will work as expected
