Honestly i'm not a huge fan of the physical design, but the UI looks nice
also with the processor at 1.2mhz really not helping either
1.2 or 1.5....I really don't care all that much. Main thing is the optimization to utilize both cores. Looks i4s...its only 800mhz and its fast

All true, but i'm still waiting to see the power of the battery and it's internal storage. The only major things i like about this phone is that it's pure android and that it will release with ICS. If the battery is weak and the internal storage is low, i'm either get the SGSII or wait til something else comes out, cause i got a feeling the Galaxy Nexus is gonna be waaaaaay overpriced for pretty much the same specs as the SGSII, but with ICS(which is nice, but i can wait for the release on the atrix or SGSII) plus it's goin to Verizon first and i'm with At&T soooo........

its a phone... lol, also. if you heard a zillion times from other people. it is optimized for the hardware. unlike every other android crap phone software out lol. in other words out 1GHz will run like a beast with this if our phone gets it. software is more important than hardware in most cases..

i don't have a problem with the camera being 5mp, now with the processor stratax cleared that up for me, but no sd card slot, and a 1750mAh battery is gonna disappoint a lot of people just like the nexus s, which is a great phone but could've been better with an sd card slot for people like me that store a lot of music, videos, etc on their phone. My atrix replaced every other device i had(ipod, digital cam, psp) with the 48gbs it holds. But i do believe the Galaxy Nexus will be a great device, just missing a few things

as for the camera that is true, mp are marketing pretty much. software can make it look better than 99% of 8-12mp cameras out there. hahaha there is no sdcard slot? so many people didnt get the nexus s because of that. you'd think they would learn.. that is the same reason i didnt get the sensation because of low storage. i use my atrix as the same. most of it is music and games lol. which takes up a ton. how can a company make a entertainment device with low storage -_- unless it has like 64gb of storage i wont be happy with it. maybe 32 would be fine but still, im sure it will be expensive.
Am I wasting my time thinking AT&T will subsidize the version with their bands?

if our phone does not recieve ICS or CM doesnt make a port or whatever im leaving android for sure. im tired of having to switch a freaking device RIGHT after i buy it. WP7 is on the lead with actually updating their phones and crap and have good hardware requirements without fragmentation. i know that technology gets updated fast blah blah. its just crap what google does lol. i like the big leap they are taking, but they need to AT LEAST update ICS on all the dual core phones that have been released. that would be pretty sweet

Benchmarks, battery life, and usability. My only question is how does the S4 perform vs Exynos in the GS3 and whether there is any improvement over battery life/usability w/ the chipset and extra ram. I would trade raw power for better battery and potentially better app performance.
Do you work for Tmobile or something? How is it that you got to test one out? And is this the U.S. version? I would be interested to know if the U.S. versions really do have 2gb of ram. And also if it also has the Wolfson audio DAC like the international version.

Sweeet, lucky! Questions:
- what color is yours?
- is the only T-Mob branding on the back cover?
- how's the battery?
- can you test out some graphic intense games, how do they run?
- does the pop-out video function run smoothly while multi-tasking?
- how many apps can you open up before things noticeably get laggy?
So excited for the US launch!
If the T-Mobile Galaxy S III is carrier unlocked can you test to see if this works with the other major GSM provider like AT&T for 3G/HSPA+?
Earlier it was reported that from the Engadget & The Verge that FCC report had the T-Mo version capable of running both T-Mobile and 1900 band of AT&T.
Thanks in advance!
Can you help me get one? lulz.
Do you have the firmware in TAR format?
I need it badly. I have the same unit as yours.
If you can even give me the stock kernel, it would help to start.
May be my problem is the kernel....

It's a simple matter to change the device name and model number, and overclock it to the desired frequency. After that, modify the files of the score data, and voilĂ , we have the Galaxy s4, or really any device you want

Its soo fake its unbeleivable, reasons:
1. S4 will probably have 4g as standard so there is no need for the i9505
2. benchmark is lower than a note 2
3. 4.2.1 WTF!
Anyway exynos 5 will be beast and is pointless if the processor is around the same performance of note 2.
also you think samsung hasnt got their own way of benchmarking the phone?
they know power is important in this years flagship and they are not likely to be worse than what qualcomm has to give.
So you think before you post, this is faked.

Keep in mind that exynos 5 will be a beast, but mostly in the energy efficiency area. As the technical from Samsung explained, all 8 cores will NEVER run in the same time, it will be basically a quad-core running an ARM7 processor base in low demanding tasks and an ARM15 processor base when at full power.
Still, scores are very low anyway and i assume that if someone tried to "fool us", has set an 1.9ghz value considering that it will have an Snapdragon processor, as Samsung never released a running freq for their exynos.
100% fake, some random overclocked phone with ro.product.model=xxx changed to read ro.product.model=GT-I9505. Takes a few seconds to do.
could you please tell me how to modify the screen pixel ?

Are you for real? 4.2.2 just only hit AOSP 2 freaking weeks ago on February 11th.
People need to get over it that this is most probably is the version they'll be releasing. Edit: I'm talking about the Snapdragon version of the phone.
Why would you trust a benchmark ? You get different results each time you start one.
Ignorance is near impossible to prevent but manners are easily controlled. There is no need for such blatant flaming on here and it seems the developers get away with it all the time....
Anyway. Back on topic. If it was real, it doesn't look like it's set to blow any minds. If it's not. Just hang tight and wait...

if u want the best AOSP experience just get a Nexus
Jeez guys calm down. What I think is that samsungs developers are not small scale one-man per device jobs. I beleive that samsung collaborates with other workers to merge aosp and touchwiz using well known GIT. They mihgt be a big team that can accomplish a 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 in a matter of two weeks. Dont forget, our s3 just had a leak that works and I am sure we are not priority at samsung devs. I think they would have an efficient task force that could easily do what you said is crazy quite easily. Plus I am sure that they would atleast merge aosp code 4.2.2 and then continue bugfixing. Btw andreilux, its quite obvious that its fake even if we dont agree on the reasons.
And Note II is still up top

Obviously we are all waiting for the Note 4, yet it's Pricey.
Now comes the hard question.
Which one to buy ? and
Which will the Dev support ? (Future Proofing)
N910C or N910S
Snapdragon over Exynos
We all saw it in the S4 between the 9505 and 9500 so I don't want to get stuck in the same loop.
Please advise at the earliest since all the articles on the Web refer to Chip variants and differences yet no one has a solid answer to which will be supported and would be considered as a real investment. I hear the Exynos is benchmarked with 40K therefore exceeding our favorite Snapdragon chip !?
That makes it even worse to decide

you give me far too much credit, i port recoveries and do minor things. bootloader exploits are beyond my scope of even understanding how many actually work.
The Exynos model should be faster, better on battery, and possibly offer 64-bit down the road. I'm going with that one.

The S7 Edge is powered by either a 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or 2.3 GHz Exynos 8890 processor, depending on region, and comes with 4GB of RAM.
Qualcomm processors found by US carriers have locked bootloaders.
Exynos found in other countries (with some exception) are unlocked.
Rooting methods are totally different.
