same i have d800 outside US.
this is what i do. not sure where you at.? if you in stock KITKAT then just do the rest of steps.
but basically i go back to stock to KK using flashtools. with this guide. asuming you can enter into download mode.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2663369
once you flash TOT method suscesfully. and had phone root and autorec for KK installed
then update you twrp with thermal twrp from blastagator..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/twrp-twrp-2-8-0-0-kernel-f2fs-tools-t2898705
then download bootstacks 5.0.2 Bootstack with KitKat (Bump) bootloader:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/lg-g2-bootstacks-t3173715
while you are in KITKAT and have rooted, and thermal twrp installed.
enter recovery twrp.
wipe all (move your pics and important files to pc while in twrp)
flash the 5.0.2 Bootstack with KitKat (Bump) bootloader:
go to main menu in twrp. then reboot into recovery again DONT REBOOT INTO SYSTEM.
then copy this flashable KDZ stock rom it already has root integrated. copy to phone while in twrp
http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-g2/development/rom-t3152368
flash it in twrp. this will install stock rooted 5.02 LP.
to install another rom a stock base.. simply install autorec for lollipop in the playstore
install tqrp with autorec for lollipop
update the twrp with the thermal one from blastagator..
if you want like stock based rom just wipe dalvik/cache/system and data/ and or sd card.
then copy rom while in twrp and install...

Hi,
I have 4.2 on my LG G2 D802 and KitKat was just launched in my country. My phone is rooted and I got TWRP.
Can I download and install the KDZ-file (KitKat) without removing TWRP?
Do I have to remove any mods I have done to the system? Like G2 Xposed etc?
Please respond, before I do the update (don't want to brick it).
Thank you!

Do not make OTA update with TWRP on you phone ! you will be stuck at recovery !
You cannot flash a kdz without lossing root and twrp !
Flash this ROM and follow the thread so you get kitkat with root and you keep your custom reovery : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2661866

I know not to make an OTA update.
And I don't care about loosing root and twrp. I'm wondering if it will work fine to install the KDZ-file and it will work like a original-phone. Or if I do have to remove TWRP and mods first?
Thank you!

you can flash official KDZ no matter u have twrp or not ! but be aware that your bootloader will be updated and you will never get custom recovery again (till now)
I have searched a bit and from what I have found the phone will not be restored after a KDZ-flash? I want my phone completely wiped and restored to stock when I install KiKat. Can I restore my phone in settings before I install the KDZ-file?
Will this somehow be a problem when I have a rooted phone and TWRP?
Please help me restore my phone to stock and update to KitKat, I want it to be completely stock and with nothing left in it.
Thank you!

Ota Problems!
Hi all my g2 stuck at recovery! Any1 help plz!
Alright, currently im on cloudyg3. My twrp version is 2.7 i believe (the same one that comes with autorec). Can someone elaborate the instructions,
First, flash latest twrp via recovery. By this i just install it as i was installing a rom? Then reboot.
Back in recovery, now wipe sys/data/cache, then flash the lp bootloader, then finally flash the rom. Are these instructions correct?
Also if I want to revert back to my cloudyg3 backup do i need to change my bootloader again? If so which.

Yes you flash a new twrp zip like a rom zip.
No, you flash the bootstack, not the bootloader. LP bootloader has no exploit available.
No idea, what bootloader did you have before? What exploit does the ROM require? If it's bump you need a kitkat bootloader, provided in the LP bootstack. If it's loki get a JB bootloader.

Ah, alright yea I meant bootstack. And, im not sure about what bootloader I had before, Im reading everything from my phone since i domr have a computer so finding info isnt that easy. I rooted my phone a while back, installed twrp via autorec and installed the cloudyg3 rom and havent done anything else for 8 months now. Would reverting to my backup return me to the bootstack i had before? Or would cloudyg3 still boot up on the lp bootstack.

You should flash the bootstack and reboot the recovery . Why? because it's got the KK bootloader and the necessary partitions for a smooth install

Well from a logical standpoint you'd need a jellybean bootloader to roll back t your backup since back then no one used the bump script in conjunction with the kitkat bootloader, and the autorec on kitkat installed a Jb bootloader.
what's your model by the way?

D802. Im downloading the bootstack aroma changer zip just to be sure. Btw would this current rom be able to load up on the latest version of twrp?
A guy on reddit said the backup contains everything and id be able to go back to the backup but if i wanted to flash a kk rom id have to change the bootloader.
Problem: Can't boot into OS on my D800. When booting the screen stays at LG logo and LED keeps flashing green and blue.
Hisotry:
1) Had original AT&T D800 not rooted, no recovery. Got OTA upgrade to Lollipop.
2) Got new phone so decide to debloat to give phone to my wife (on T-mobile)
3) Read xda forums. Downgraded to d80010o using LG flash utility. rooted. installed older version of twrp using autorec. now phone won't boot but can get into download/twrp
4) got into firmware download mode and flashed d80010d using lg flash utility. this time copied new twrp on sdcard and stripped version of rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-g2/development/rom-stock-lollipop-30b-stripped-t3144195) along with dorilp kernel
5) went back to twrp. flashed stripped rom and kernal.
Still no dice. Exact same situation. I can get into download mode/twrp but when booting system gets stuck on LG logo with led slowly flashing.
what am I doing wrong ?
Are you able to get into recovery? With a lolipo ROM you have to download KitKat boot stack or simply download blastgator lollipop ROM patch from here http://blastagator.ddns.net

From what I read in the OP of that ROM, you're supposed to just flash the rom zip, boot up, go back into recovery and flash the kernel.
"To install ROM, just flash the zip! (Note: The zip isn't signed.) My zip flashes everything you need for the ROM to work correctly.
Recommended: Flash @dorimanx kernel after install. My zip includes stock 30f kernel."
Maybe that's the problem?

okay.. installed the patch. still no dice. still getting same stuck at LG logo with led flashing.
also dorimanx kernal is installed. still getting the issue. btw i am not married to this ROM. Any AT&T rom will work. I think there is some mismatch of bootloader/kernal/rom and what not.
what things I can check ?
pulling my hair out.
whatever rom I install using twrp it gets stuck on LG logo. i think i see some message about not being able to unmount /system (but rest of install succeeds).
only way I can get back in OS is to use LG flash utility and flash d80010d or d80010o which basically wipes away everything (recovery, root etc).
assuming I am on stock d80010d, can someone please give idiot proof step by step direction (do i need to check modem version/baseband/bootloader/radio/recovery versions or something to make sure it is compatible ?)

Ok flash back via tot to kitkat and take ota to lollipop. Then use autorec v2. *Do not use the twrp thats comes autorec as it does not flash roms* flash a BUMPED twrp using twrp. Then install your lolipop rom then afterwards install the dormainx d800 lollipop patch just for safe measure but it should work without flashing it.

Yeah it can be rooted. Download stumproot and install it, follow it thru the steps and do the brute force root. Takes a few minutes but it works. I've done it on stock a couple of times. Get autorec v2 on playstore.

Actually instead of stumproot, use srk tool to root stock lollipop. I have had success with that.

Hello.
I have a D805 LG G2, flashed with CM 13.0 Nightly. [Running 6.0.1]
The problem is THERE'S NO RECOVERY. [Wait...What?]
From the Start:
-CSE Flash
-Flashed CM 13.0 [using Bumped TWRP from AutoRec]
Now I can't update my CM 13.0, because everytime that boot into recovery gives the SecureBoot error.
I can't loki because of unsupported aboot error. (Some users said that Loki was patched in 4.4)
I found AutoRec type for D855 (MarshMellow) but there's no version for D805 (or D802)
Tryed "dd" but not working.
All the apps in playstore don't work.
There's no way to flash TWRP now? I don't want to CSE Flash again and lose all my data.
[If anyone want some files from D805, pm me. Links for Aboot.img or such.] [I almost started porting D805 for CyanogenMod but got no time to do it.]

for the bootloop did you installed hybridbootstacks that should get it going. i think
if not make sure you clean wipe, and install hybrid, then go to main menu reboot into twrp from twrp then continue to flash rom and gapps

Another question, Do F2FS gives a performance boost in LG Phones? Because there's this post about a benchmark using EXT4 in one phone and F2FS in the other...
EDIT: G2_Security files seems to do nothing, just stands like a random file in my /sdcard/
EDIT2: Another question, what's better: TWRP or CyanogenMod Custom Recovery?
EDIT3: Ugh, Recovery with TWRP works but "crashes" on startup and goes back to android.

Yeah, I saw that in his website. F2FS gave me a fix on stuttering.
Going to try dd method later.
Until today I had the impression that my LG G2 was done.
You see, a year ago I had this problem with an update, I carry the phone to my carrier as was under warranty, the Fixed the problem but after that I couldn't boot in recovery mode.
No Power and Volume Down or Up Working, nor the 3 times power combination and then I've just came across this boot into bootloader instructions that I didn't know about it.
Code:
Bootloader: With the device powered down, plug in a USB cable while pressing Volume Up.
Which works like a charm.
So can somebody please point me in the right direction to Install CM13 in bootloader mode?
Best regards

steps are like this.
you are on KK, you need to search for files as that variant i dont know..
you must root phone and install custom recovery
so cehck here for root..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63327417&postcount=4
when you rooted. then proceed to install twrp. use the same link above and look in recovery
click on recovery.. remeber you are in KK so use the one for kitkat dont use Lollipop.
when you find recovery install it..when you have it installed. update it with this one
2.8.7.3
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/twrp-twrp-2-8-0-0-kernel-f2fs-tools-t2898705
install bootstacks for your variant. 5.02 KK bumped.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/lg-g2-bootstacks-t3173715
then you need to find a flashable rom in zip format.. for d805. lollipop. once you flashed it and are in stock lollipop
then find root for lollipop use the links above , i thnk theres root for LP.
when roo is rooted then go to playstore and download autorec for lollipop for your variant..
install and install twrp.. update it with 2.8.7.3 thermal one..
then install hybrids bootsacks. for your variant
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/boot-g2-hybrid-bootstacks-t3183219
when installing hybrid.. reboot from recovery into recovery again to take effect ... then flash rom and gapps for cm13.
Already rooted. Will check the instructions, overall the one about the recovery...as I said before I don't have a recovery options, when I install TWRP and try to reboot into the recovery mode the phone just reboot.
I believe you gave me the instructions to fix this, fix the recovery, will follow your instructions and will be back.
Thank you for your time.
If it doesn't work try to install the stock kk again and do all the above process again
