3.0 Honeycomb music player Download

Before downloading make sure you make a backup of the original music file using titanium backup and uninstall music.apk
Then reboot phone and install honeycomb music player. If it works for your give me a thanks

there is no chance to install without deleating the original music file? Dont wanna root the phone, had some problems with the latest update due to i deleted a lot of original apps, like amazon and stuff

How hard is it on the battery? Just curious.

What is this "Jumper Test" that installs with it?

Should this work with the Nexus S on 2.3.1?

This is what the music app should have been in 2.1, comparable to the gallery. Nice work here google, this looks great.

I think I has to do with streaming music in setting but it is not working at the moment

Good but a bit laggy in scrolling compared to other google apps....

Works also fine on MicroMod v.20.

I hardly use my phone as mp3 player but to get music files to show in the media player they gotta be in file labeled what exactly ?

They do not have the be anywhere specific. Android automatically finds any media files as long as there is not a ".nomedia" file in a folder where media is stored.
Also, this is old news and is in the wrong section.

Jogging with the nexus 7

Anyone plan to jog and run with the nexus 7 while playing music. Any suggestions how this can be done?

Iffn it was me I'd use an old phone repurposed into a android media player. Our get a SanDisk Sansa Clip. I have a Clip, and I use my old Droid Charge as a media player.
I put my N7 in a fanny pack when I want it at the end of a hike/walk. But I have not tried running very far with it. Mine is more of a hiking pack, but there are packs aimed at runners, especially ultra-marathoners.

I don't recommend running with your nexus 7 because the larger screen is more likely to break if dropped. With that said I would think some kind of body strap would work best since it would probably be awkward and less secure to run with it on an arm. A silicon case with 2 hole and bungees going through it would probably be the best way to secure it to your body.
If you do decide to go running with your nexus 7 let us know how it went and how you secured it.

I'm 99.99% sure your N7's screen gonna break if it falls face down. So it's better not to run with it if you don't have a plan to get a new one...
Btw the best way to run with it might be to find a back pack like this

Yes lol, very annoying, already sent them message about this issue

i hope they fix it soon coz i dont want to go back to 5.1.1

Everything I try to download a paid app Google play crashes. Free apps download fine though.

1. *****IMPORTANT***********Make sure phone battery is over 95% or this will cause your phone to brick!
2. Make sure you phone has USB Debugging enabled.
3. Plug in usb cable to phone
4. Run Autoroot.exe
5. Phone should reboot
6. After reboot run export.exe
7. Phone should have been rooted download a root checker and make sure!

They didnt remove it, its there. I am assuming samsung didnt give the 15gig for general purpose as far as I can tell. But if u go into settings under backup u can see its there.

I am having issues finding it too. When I go to back up area I only see my gmail account. Would someone mind posting a screen shot of were it is located?

Anyone figure out how to delete the files neopolitin75 pointed out? I turned gallery sync off but it still shows the storage usage for galley. I just like to control where my personal pictures are in the world...

No idea here. Search around for a while and came up empty.

The workaround I found was to back up the files to your computer or whatever then delete the albums that were syncing then go back in and choose what folder you want to back up. It cleaned it up for me I have 5gb free but there's one folder that won't delete for some reason. I really wish they would've given you the option to select initially before going all willy nilly. Lol
