Clear battery usage statistics - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Battery usage statistics keeps on warning me that Chrome has been using too much battery even when screen is off: is there a way to clear this stats?

[Q] Inconsistent Battery Stats / Chrome Battery Usage

This has been bugging me for a while: I've noticed that, according to GSAM Battery Monitor, Chrome for Mobile is a huge battery drain. Using it for a few minutes quickly shoots it up to the top of GSAM's app battery consumption list; I've seen figures around 40-50%. Chrome's usage often dwarfs usage from having the screen on.
However, when I check Android's built-in battery stats, Chrome shows up at a measly 5-10%, with screen on taking up 30%+, which seems much more reasonable. This inconsistency is starting to bother me. Clearly either one of these stats is wrong or the apps are using very different methods of calculating battery usage. Does anyone know which?
Also, does anyone feel like Chrome uses way more battery than it should? I mean, I get that it's using data and so on, but it seems to consume much more battery than other apps that also use data - more even than many games, it seems. Is this just my imagination?

I got same problem. Anyone know exactly what to do if chrome drain battery alot? In 11 minutes chrome usage on WiFi I lost 54% battery. Wth? I stopped used chrome at all for now but I want to know solution. I'm on stock 4.2.2 with enhanced faux kernel. Can't find any answer how to stop chrome from battery drain.

What does it say in the 'use details' portion when you select Chrome in Androids battery settings?
There are reports that the 'Enable Tilt Scrolling' option in Chrome>Settings>Developer tools drains the battery a lot.

Yes I turned it off already. Still my chrome sucks battery like vampire. All is good till I don't use it. Also when I close chrome battery stop loosing its power so chrome not working in background like it was when I have sensor usage turned on.
Wait a bit I have to turned it on for a moment to have some info. I'll report it back soon on edit.
edit: OK it says that in 3 minutes and 8 seconds battery usage is 5% by chrome.

Battery stats not showing phone as awake when screen on?

Every other android phone I've had when the screen is on the phone is awake on the battery stats menu in settings, ive uploaded a screen as you can see my phone is only awake in little stages, not all he time the screen in on. I'm getting really good battery life with heavy usage, is this a new battery saving technique of 4.2? I'm running the exynos i9500.

Cumulative Keep awake/wakelocks vs. time

Is there an app that measures the cumulative keep awake time per app versus time ... Along with battery percentage vs time. This would be useful in diagnosing apps that have excessive wakelocks and correlating there keep awake time periods with periods of excessive battery drain. As it stands right now with apps like better battery stats and the stock Android battery app,, you only know the cumulative keep awake or wake lock time as a single number rather than as a graph plotted versus time to overlay on top of the battery drain percentage graph. One always ends up speculating as to when that keep awake time actually occurred vs the battery drain.
So ideally I would want all of those statistics that come up in the stock Android battery app along with wakelock time, such as a CPU time total CPU time awake time etc versus time. A simple way to implement this would be to listen for battery percentage drops like many of the battery monitoring apps already do, but also record all of those other statistics and the current system time at the same time.
Is there anything already out there or anyone willing to add this functionality to their existing app?

This is a very late response because I found this thread through searching a question. But, are you trying to figure out if huge number of wakelocks that don't hold the device awake for very long cause battery drain? If so, that's what I'm trying to figure out. I have a wifi wakelock that kept the device awake for less than 1 min over the course of 3 hours. However, the number of wakelocks is over 2,000 so I'm trying to figure out if it is affecting the battery life.

background.. running appl..... use battery

How can I find out why my S7 Edge have to be changes 2- 3 times arbejde day and before only one ?
Disable runding background runding apps ?
bb
Depends on your usage.
But if the battery drains faster, yes, you should check the apps running in the background.
Try to install a battery or data manager app and track your phone's usage. You could find something relevant.
Possibly a rogue app keeping your phone awake and stopping your cpu from going to sleep. I find Gsam battery monitor very good for monitoring app battery usage and cpu states, you can also enable more detailed reporting stats by using adb and the app guides you through how to do this.
If you goto settings then device maintenance, click battery and scroll down to always sleeping apps and add everything you don't need running in the background. Me adding all my apps made my battery last longer especially at night when its idle.

[HELP] Battery life??

I have seen better battery stats than mine. I don't know If something's wrong with my device (I have warranty tho so if it is, I can replace it)
I noticed that wifi is at the top of the list so I'm not sure what's going on.
I have greenify set for facebook because It destroys any battery. Also I disabled my location in case it was google now.
Accubattery shows 55% consumption while screen on (3h 29 SOT) while 38% of the battery gone while the screen is off (80% of that time is in deep sleep)
In the android's battery stats, wifi appears above screen in battery consumption.
Overall it's 16h 45 min of total battery life at 5% battery left.
I have seen 5h, 7h SOT so I don't exactly know what to expect.
I really need a hand because I can't let this pass if it's really a battery issue.
Thanks in advance.
Maybe you want to post a BBS log in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-extreme-battery-life-t3095884 to get proper help.

Nobody knows which device, bootloader status, dual sim, WiFi, apps, settings, rom etc. you are using. So please be so kind and provide these informations.
Also a full cycle of better battery stats is useful with all screens provided.
And as bullfinch110 said: there are threads(older) with battery tips
I'm sorry. I couldn't find a way to upload screens without external links and xda wouldn't let me.
Its xt1641, dual sim but i've only charged it with one.
Stock 6.0.1 Rom
Locked bootloader
Wifi is always on in that cycle. I've disabled today "enable wifi on deepsleep" to see what's up
I've also restored network settings.
