Hold down home, vol-, and power to boot into Odin mode. Connect the tablet to the PC via USB. Run Odin and install the following file using the AP button:
SM-T230NU UEU0APA1 XAC Region (Canada)
You have to extract the zip with WinRar or 7zip before you use it.
Yeah it will not even let me boot into Odin mode. Any other idea's ? And that is the file that bricked my T230NU!

tried a stock rom file from sammobile? the stock for YOUR phone.
Hello everyone
I have a g900f from UAE and as it still hasn't got lollipop I was wondering if I can flash another firmware from sammobile.. If I can do so, can someone guide me at how to do it?
Sent from my SM-G900F using XDA Free mobile app
Yep, long as it's for the G900F
Grab ODIN, grab the ROM you want from sammobile, install samsung drivers, put the phone into download mode, connect to PC, press PDA or AP on ODIN and load the .TAR ROM file, press Start
Phone will be wiped in the process so backup anything important
Instructions are under the download on sammobile anyway
Instructions
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.09
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v.3.09
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
Hello,
I'm new here
My problem started when my CSC got stuck on SEE after trying to go back to stock rom from XEO ROM. My original CSC is XEH. I tried to use KIES to restore it, it flashed to the newest but my CSC hasnt changed. After that I downloaded ROM from a different regoin marked as XSG and I tried to flash it with ODIN but it failed and now I'm stuck with "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue.." screen. All roms are Official. My download mode shows Secure Download: Enabled. Did I brick my phone?
Sorry for my not so perfect english
My mode is N910C with Exynos

did you put your phone in Download mode? did you unzipped the file to get the odin flashable file? go to download mode by pressing and holding volume down+home+power for 3 seconds and then let them go, if phone boots into download mode then its not bricked, you just have to download the file and unzipped, to get the Odin file, then open odin, with the phone on download mode, then click pda, search the unzipped file, and flash it, cheers

Download this : https://mega.nz/#!IMFj0CAK!iVB3amQ1vesRuRpDwNHmc8zvUoL3nrPRXq1KanBdJJA
Unzip it
Put it in the AP (in Odin)
If fail then try use the included Odin in the stock ROM zip (but if you can access recovery, please factory reset first)

Extract the stock tar.md5 file.(using winrar or 7zip)
You will see a lot of files with .img at the end of them.
Rename the file "hidden.img" to "hidden.img.tar"
Go to odin and choose AP and find the file "hidden.img.tar" (in the extracted tar.md5 folder)
Click START
After that your device will show the android logo and it will looks like it's updating.
Leave it. Your phone will reboot after that. (If not then turn the phone on manually)
^^
Before i read your reply i unzip the file and delete Hidden file and i repack to tar file with 7zip
and start with odin and it Give me pass
but when reboot still stuck on logo
after that i tried your way
give me pass but still stuck on logo

Try using smart switch/kies and then go to "firmware initialization..." and restore your phone there
If not detect click the "reinstall driver" and reconnect your device.
If still not detect maybe you mess up something on your phone...
Still not working?
Hi, my j500m is bricked because Install the firmware combination to eliminate the frp of the device at the end of the procedure, I proceeded to install the rom stock, in the middle of the installation (partition system) it is hung I left it for a long time and the same, and it happened to me with all the rom stock that download, in the end I searched and decided to install the rom with 4 recovery files and the pit file (BL, AP, CP, CSC and PIT file) when starting odin generated an error in the pit file the phone instead of now restarting in download mode as before I did it, now turn on and go directly into recovery, the computer does not recognize it in any way now and I cannot recover how it would solve this problem
