That looks line flat style bar indicator from xposed.
If you are using layers then there r few themes for status bar as well.
So in short you need at least root (if not custom rom) and then xposed or layers or both. I've not used cmte in a while so don't know how's it in cm13

Definitely search flat style in repo, there are 4/5 modules. Try them and decide which u like.
Pure nexus support both cmte and layers, if you are using layers then u can search layer themes as well.
BTW http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/theme-statusbar-softkeyz-collection-t3129303/page7 this is what I mean.

That's not a status bar, but it's actually a Zooper Widget.

Several AOSP ROMs are now using CMTE, not just CM. It works really well in Dirty Unicorns.

By cm13 I didn't mean only cyanogen mod ROM, I meant any ROM that uses cm13 as a base (that's why used cmte). Sorry if it caused confusion

I'm not confused. Dirty Unicorns doesn't use CM as a base, that's my point. CMTE is just a bunch of commits. DU is not CM-based but includes CMTE.

I used to, too. Then when I tested DU and realized there were actually 3 or 4 ROMs using it, I was very happy. Not really a fan of CM ROMs, but I've paid for a couple good themes over time and was very pleased to be able to use them on an AOSP base. I believe Pure Nexus, AOSiP and a couple others, in addition to DU, uses CMTE and aren't CM ROMs.

OK so I been searching around for custom recent app mods. The closest thing I came to was recent mods for the gnex and of course they don't work for the n4's. It would be pretty awesome ifwe had such mods. I am reaching out to any themers and devs who could possibly create one for aosp, pa, cm10.1 and aokp 4.2.2 based ROMs on our nexus 4. Please feel free to let me know on my thread or pm me if anybody would be interested in taking up this project. Thanks guys.

ok so i flashed the mod on my current setup. No flashed mods or tweaks. I got a force close on systemui evertime i pressed the recent menu button.
Then i tried a clean install and got stuck at the bootanimation.
I pulled a logcat.

Hey there!
I'm using PhoeniX ROM v16.7 along with ANGIKernel v3.9.3 - seems to be a good combination as everything is working as expected.
It's a TouchWiz-based ROM - so the Home-Screen will look quite familar to you
@Blakebn2012
If you want to give CyanogenMod a try, I think you should be aware of the lacking support for things like the SmartDock and the SPen functions of course (that's why I stick with a TouchWiz-based ROM...)

Creating some Nandroids and testing on Stock based ROM too
Edit: From a short look I could notice a different process animation, lockscreen ring, volume ring and new wifi and data symbols.
While chosing the candy theme, I didn´t notice different wifi and data symbols.
By any chance, could you also create a theme similar to "dark candy" ? I would also love to see these themes on my Nexus 7 ( 2013 )

The GAPPS you linked to was giving me a TON of force close issues upon first boot. So I switched to the more generic ones here and they are working fine so far. I'm using the standard GAPPS which is more than enough for my needs when it comes to GAPPS. Anything I need beyond that like Maps I can grab from Play Store easily.

I did notice lag issues with trying to use multiple widgets on the home screen. In particular in my case I tried using HD Widgets and PowerAMP. Now to be fair this might be in the Carbon ROM 4.4.3 source so who knows.
I used the standard 4.4.3 gapps provided in the Mad's link. Seems to be working fine.
Just wondering, and I searched but couldnt find the answer, how do we remove the google search bar from the desktop?

Nope, the Sero still has lots of XDA goodness ahead of it. @randomblame is working on taktiK ROMs built off of 4.4.4, @davepmer still has CM11 and OmniROM actively in development, I'm building PAC-ROM for 4.4.4 and I'm also working on Ubuntu Touch. @dolorespark also has AOSP 4.4.2 (and an experimental 4.4.3) built, and I'm running it right now. It's by far the most stable ROM, the only bugs being with the GPS having locking issues and GravityBox brightness settings (which I believe was fixed with a GravityBox update lately)

To my knowledge audio over HDMI works on dave's CM11 ROM.
I think the navbar can be resized on Carbon, and I know for a fact it can be resized on PAC.

All of us devs have been posting ROM releases to this thread for convenience. IMHO it's the closest to our own forum we'll ever get.
NEW BUILD!
Info: http://meticulus.co.vu/2014/06/new-build-carbon-rom-for-hisense-sero-7_25.html
Download: http://www.meticulus.co.vu/p/downloads_2.html
Are these all for the m470bsa I have an m470bse sitting doing nothing now as i replaced it with a 2nd gen nexus 7 due to Hisenses lack of support they don't even reply to emails in Europe would be nice to flash something different on it.
First time starting a thread.
Wanted to let you know that @ezio84 has uploaded his build of ABCRom to AFH and I recommend you check it out...I'll link his post...
There will not be a thread in P2XL ROMs...you have to go to ABCs area of xda to get updates.

I have seen this rom before, what makes it different than any ROM out right now? What's it built with? Features? Optimizations? Is it based on lineage or AOSP?
AOSP based. I added a pic of the ABC settings...there you can see it has enough customizations but it's not a kitchen sink ROM. If you read ezio's post he thanks DU so I presume ABC Taimen has bits from DU.
What I like about ABC...it's reliable...I never have problems...so far...lol...and that goes for the previous phone that's I've used ABC on.
It has all the customizations I want....again not a kitchen sink...it may be missing something you like.
FYI I do like other ROMs and have different ROMs on my other devices like my tablet uses CRDroid and my old S5 I turned into an mp3 player and it used LOS with MircoG....I'm not saying ABC is the greatest and will make your phone transform into a pixel 10 but for me it works and I trust it. I've flashed some of the others in the P2XL ROM section but I like ABC so far....I may flash something else to test but I have a feeling I've found my daily driver.
I just wanted to let the community know about a ROM that isn't in the main P2XL ROM section.

That’s the dumbest question I’ve ever heard in my life. Battery life is dependent on your personal use, apps etc. ROM has little to do with it.

@OP
Thanks for the info.
Just wanted to add that I've been flashing ABC Roms for Taimen for a while now
and gotta say it's one of the smoothest and efficient Roms out there, you'll like it.

What is and it's not working in this ROM? All Pixel features working? Thanks
Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Everything is working for me....in the ABC thread Ezio's posted "there are some refresh issues for lockscreen/ambient weather and nowplaying on the first build, so if you face them don't worry, it's fixed for the next one"
Other than that I haven't found any problems. Everything I use is working and working well.

Like @op says, everything works but the "Now Playing" feature, but as the Rom gets updated,
they usually get fixed. Try it, you'll like it.
This ROM has been rock solid so far, only issue for me though is the device theme keeps resetting back to white randomly or on a reboot and have also had a few settings, only noticed in developer settings so far, that won't stay when changed and revert on a reboot as well. Anyone else experiencing something similar or should a try a clean install again?

Enabling dark mode in the message app fixes it. Same in DU

The ROM is and will be like ezio84 cooks it - I am just using his build script.
I am not considering feature requests. The only things I add are German strings for the
extra features and another bootanimation (which will possibly get official).
