I have the problem that I can listen to music with my A2DP BT Headset (Philips SHB9001), but if I start Youtube, a game or the internal video player the phone fails and plays the sound over the speaker.
Is there any posibility to "hack" the phone (or something like that) in order to get that working?
I deeply hope that one of you a solution
look here
You made my day ...did't find that. Guess I searched with the wrong search terms. THANK YOU! I'll try it asap
this is useful for me too thanks
a bit buggy
FYI: Playing YouTube videos it's a bit buggy (BT Headset makes some kind of squeaky sound, it's stuttering ... don't know how discribe it better), guess that's why MS disabled it by default.
But I'am happy to have it . If someone knows this bug, and even better how to fix it, I would be glad to know .
Maybe it's wifi that is interfering with bluetooth. At least I have the same behavior on HD2 with wifi on.
So I've never really noticed before until I was setting up my amp and speakers at a new place but my YouTube seems to be only doing stereo on the Shield. Netflix has the 5.1 working but I can't get surround to work in YouTube. I have hdmi out to the AVR and then hdmi to tv. The AVR is set to Direct, meaning that it will do whatever the signal is coming over the HDMI cable. It's saying that it's PCM. Checked settings but didn't find any specific output settings on the Shield or the YouTube app.
I was just wondering if this was normal. I don't REALLY need 5.1 in YouTube.
afaik youtube doesnt support surround sound... same thing on mine also.

Thank you.
HOWEVER! I've read recently that youtube is about to start streaming in 360 and adding binaural sound support... so maybe something will come off of that and it'll lead to better sound support all around. (pun unintended.)

That would be good. It sucks that running the 5.1 test videos on youtube just plays in stereo.

Hello everyone !
I recently bought a P9 lite VNS-L31 and I noticed that audio quality is not very good through a bluetooth headset or a bluetooth speaker when I listen to music. There is some distorsion and it's audible and uncomfortable. I tried to connect various bluetooth audio devices to my P9 lite and the problem is the same. I also tried the P9 lite of a friend, there is the same problem. But there is no problem when I connect my bluetooth headset to my previous phone or to my computer...
Does anyone know this issue ?
Thanks a lot
Never try headset, but BT speaker is working well ,no distorsion ( for me ) maybe you can try an equalizer or somethink like that. I use bass booster ,you can set / adjust your sound. You can get it from play store, no root needed.

Hello !
Thank you for your answer I just tried bass booster but it didn't solve the issue Actually the distortion can't be heard with all musics... For example with this classical song, the distorsion is very present : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRxofEmo3HA
Do you see the problem with this music ?
Thank you in advance
not possible yet, I'll try asap
I have a Plantronics BackBeat (a bluetooth headset) ans I have no music distorsion at all. Did you changes something ? Like activated sws or something ?
Hello everyone !
Thanks for your answers !
I didn't change anything in my settings. SWS is not available with bluetooth...
Maybe you can try the 2 songs attached to this message. With my P9 lite through bluetooth, the distorsion is clear, and more audible when I turn the volume up a bit. It's like a saturation, or an audio interference in the song.
Does anyone see the problem ?
Thanks in advance !

No distortion for me. I've played your files through bluetooth on my hi-fi system and sound is good.

Hi,
I have this exact problem too! When I use my old phone (LG G3) in my car throigh bluetooth ghe sound is crystal clear with good bass. When I connect my P9 lite the quality is awfual, distprtion, loud crackling bass, the treble fluctuates and I have not yet found a solution to get it to the same quality level as my G3.
It ses like there is some sort of preset interal equaliser, but I can't find a way to access it.
Any ideas?
In my opinion, if you are using your phone as your primary source for music playback there is absolutely no way around Viper sound mod. Of course this requires root and permissive SELinux access.
The audio on this device was indeed not good with stock settings. But with the right settings and IRS in Viper it is a blast.

Hi Jt94 !
I am reassured to see that I am not alone in this situation Do you hear a little "tchhhh" like an audio saturation while listening the 2 songs I uploaded yesterday for example ?
Does someone else have the same problem ?
Thanks !
I've try your youtube link, and some others songs from my play list, with my bluetooth speaker, using Poweramp and no problem report. I use BT adapter in my car with stock player, I've got some trouble sometime but ithink it's coming from my tuner.

So I hear this "noise" continuously too. I hope to the manufacturer will fix it. It is very irritating.
I sent an email last week to [email protected] but I still have no reply...

I have the same issue , I tried a wipe data cache and a factory reset but non of this works. Anybody have new information about this issue and how to fix it?
Do a full factory reset. Try it maybe it will solve your problem.
I'm using my Bluetooth Headset everyday and i also have zero problems. perfect sound for me. (cheap mixcder ShareMe 7 BT 4.1 headphones, but good sound for the price ;D - and long battery life). maybe your device is faulty?

Is your phone charging while you're listening to music? Try it without having it charged if so..

Hi,
I have a VNS-L31 with the same problem.
I think it's related to A2DP codecs on Bluetooth: the SBC codec is a poor quality compression that must be available on all devices while AAC, MP3 and aptX are not always present.
However I don't know how to force the use of high quality codecs.
hello everyone
I have bought an erisin 6046b with android 6.0.1 , and I have a problem with a2dp sound quality is bad especially high and low, with youtube, cd or radio sound is perfect, with easyconnect also.
How to fix a2dp sound? I try with the equalizer the sound is slightly better by decreasing the treble but the sound remains poor quality anyway
I think to connect the iphone in usb but the station does not recognize it it loads only there is a way to read the music from an app on the car radio?
I have an auxiliary socket behind the post but when I plug it into the phone I can not find a mode " aux " to listen the sound from the car radio ... how can i do to listen music from aux please?
i m french so sorry for the bad english thank you for u answer

I read somewhere that AUX is not supported for Iphone.
One solution would be to root the device and install Viper4AndroidFX.
But tell us a bit more. I am in a search for this kind of head unit for my E46 and I am really interested on this device. Is the problem only on Bluetooth Audio Streaming? If you can upload a video on youtube regarding this problem it would be nice.
How about the other functions like RDS, steering wheel control, illumination, do they work properly?

I said ONE solution, not THE solution.
I have seen others do it, so you can try it.
You can use KingoRoot for root. Check this XDA thread for more.
But tell me, didn't you contact Erisin for this problem?
Check their answer first.
