Problem in usb debugging (cyanogenmod installed) - Galaxy S3 Neo Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys
i have a problem connecting my s3 neo (rooted and has cyanogenmod as a custom rom)
i searched and seems like a lot of people have the same issue
however i tried every solution they posted none of them worked
worth noting that the cyanogenmod version is unofficial
anyway i only want the usb connection to install the stock rom (so if anyone knows how i can actually install the stock rom without needing a usb connection will help)
Thanks

Hey
To flash a custom rom
1 download firmware from sammobile.com
2 install samsung usb drivers
3 download latest odin program from sammobile
4 unzip the firmware, open odin program as admin, select AP and select firmware path
5 power off your phone, and then boot it up in download mode by pressing (vol down+power)
6 make sure that only f.reset time and auto reboot and nand erase all are checked (that will erase everything)
7 connect your s3 neo to pc and click on START
It will take from 2 - 5 min to finish.
Press thanks if i helped you .

Can not install any other modem

I want to install any other modem but my note 3 does not let me do anything
I use Tweaked S5 Base Note 4 Style rom Android 4.4.2 Version 7.0
Modem is: XXUENB1
Build: KOT49H.G900SKSU1ANI1
I disabled already the reactivation protection, USB DEBUGGING is also enabled.
I use the original USB cable from note 3. KIES is not installed on my pc and I used ODIN as admin.
I got another modem, put my phone into download mode connected of course, and used another modem and put it into (CP/PHONE) in Odin3.10
It says, the flash is successfull but after reboot, the MODEM is NOT changed :"(
I tried several other modems but I can not seem to install any modem! HELP!
I tried to install stock rom via ODIN but it failed as the modem installation...
PS: Safestrap is on my device, my device is of course rooted and I also use PHILZ TOUCH 6
Did you follow this steps?:
1. Download the modem.
2. Unpack the rar file to anywhere on your computer, as long as you can access it.
3. Open up the included Odin and uncheck auto reboot.
4. Click on phone/CP, select the modem.bin, and press start.
5. When you finish the flash, manually reboot your phone back to download mode and flash the modem.bin one more time.
6. When the flash is complete, reboot and you're finished!
It's because you did not power off your phone, or remove the battery before doing the button combo for download mode, let it stay off for 15 seconds then try again.
Should work fine.
Okay, I will try to do the dual Flash and tell you if it works!

RESOLVED : How to unbrick my sg4 i9505 after wipes ?

I need helps to unbrick my i9505
Before ,phone was on Android 5.0.1
& Base band OHD7
After an wipe all data
I get this screenshot &
phone is not recognize by pc
I have download mode but
i cant obtain recovery mode
Bigs Thanks for all replies.
Download from Sammobile the firmware for your model and country, put the phone in download mode en flash the firmware with Odin and all should be fine
Bigs thanks for answering
I will tray but not with big conviction
Because phone in download mode
is not detected by pc
I will test other pcs & other cables
Thanks very much
Two days ago i had the same issue and i tried on Windows Vista and on Windiws 10,no succes. Succes on Windows 7.
Do you have KIES on your pc? If not download Kies,it will install the nesesarry drivers on your pc.
hi , ludoke
i tried 2nd time with another laptop :
Now my phone is detected by pc on download mode it work on win7
i flash firmware but
i get FAIL with notification there is no partition : attached screenshot
Always no recovery mode and normal reboot give screen get issue with pc <-------->phone
i will try with kies
thanks for encouragements & helps
Then you have to search for firmware with Pit. file and CSC and Modem, Firmware files and flash with Odin ,repartition ticked.
Search or ask here on XDA, i can't help you with that
Did you unpack the firmware zipfile once ? Don't flash the zip file and do NOT tick repartition if you have just 1 file(tar)
Different usb port/ make sure you flash not an old firmware when you are on the knox bootloader.
Hi , Lennyz1988 & Kudoke
Before sofbrick phone was android v5.0.1 & Base band OHD7
I tried flash firmware XXUHOA7 with pit on odin 3.10.6
But i get FAIL attached screenshot on #1
i will test with other odin versions & other pc always win7
kind regards
In howmany files was that firmware ? Firmware from Sammobile has mostly 1 file in the zip,so my advice is to download firmware from Sammobile for your model and country, unpack the zipfile once and you get two files . Go to download mode.
Flash the biggest file in the AP box in Odin and do NOT thick repartition. Use Odin 3.09
Also,use usb 2 port
Lastly i success the flash
I get this far
for that i have reinstalled new Os windows 7 on laptop
i use odin 3.09 and the same firmware XXUHOA7 with 4 files no pit
miraculous thing : green PASS , attached screenshot on #1
i have average fifties flashs sucess & a dozen different devices rooted
but this one make me very happy
I hope that noobs friends share & take advantage of my modest experience in 3 days
Thousand thanks for Ludoke & Lennyz1988.

You should flash 7.0 latest nougat for your device model no and country instead of 6.0.1 through odin..Try to flash 7.0 stock firmware instead of superstock rom or stock 6.0.1..If you are running your phone well and have root access..Download Samsung phone info app..Grant root access and provide me screen-shot of information shown in that application here..So i can suggest you proper stock firmware to be flashed using odin

Nougat is still not available for your country..So you have flashed latest stock 6.0.1 firmware using odin? Still you are not getting network signal? After flashing stock firmware don't restore your efs, it will be restored automatically after flashing...Now just again flash the stock 6.0.1 available on sammobile and after flashing when you see Samsung logo, simply press volume down+power button now your screen will turn off..immediately Press volume up+power+home button simultaneously untill you see Samsung galaxy logo, now release keys and you will boot into stock recovery..From there choose wipe data/factory reset option..After reset, reboot your phone..And see if singal back again or not?

Sm-t280 frp lock no rom

Hello evrybody,
I have a SM-T280 tablet i use since a coup;e of year with the "Tinker" ROM.
I was happy with this rom but decided to flash a stock ROM before to give the tablet to my son but forgot to enable the "OEM dev" option before to flash the new rom with Odin.
Now i'm stuck with a tablet without system and i can see the dangerous message "CustomBinary (KERNEL) Blocked by FRP Lock" on the tablet screen in Download mode.
How can i fix it please ? I know a lot of thread talked about (especially for SM-T580) but i can succeed to flash any thing. Always have this message (tried to flash TWRP, 2 stock ROOM and TINKER).
Thank you and sorry for my approximative english
Fixed !
I finally succed doing those steps :
1. Download combination files on the computer
(samsungcombinationfile.com/samsung-sm-t280)
2. Flash the combination files with Odin (AP slot)
3. Install FRP helper on the computer
(gsmfavor.com/2017/01/samsung-frp-helper-v02-frp-removal.html)
4. Follow the "how to" (webpage step 3)
5. Power on the device and in the DEV setting, activated the "USB debug" option
6. Power off the device
7. Flash an old official firmware wth Odin (AP slot)
(samsung-firmware.org/download/Galaxy__Tab__A__-2016%2C__7.0%2C__Wi-Fi-__/9z98/XAR/T280XXU0APH3/T280XAR0APH3/)
8. Unlock FRP entering my google account
9. Restart the device and delete the google account
10. Flash my favorite ROM (Tinker) with Odin AP slot.
I don't know why but i haad to repeat 2 times the sequence from the steps 2 to 6 before to be abble to flash the old oficial ROM...
Hope this can help anybody !

SM-G900F stuck in download mode

TL;DR – I am stuck in ODIN MODE and my PC (and Odin) does not recognize device once it is connected via USB.
Hi to all,
I am aware that this device is bit outdated, but I have dug it up from the depths of my drawers and decided to try to update its Lineage OS version. I have downloaded TWRP and custom ROM alike, but then I have made severe mistake – I have flashed TWRP in to recovery as well as to bootloader. Now I am stuck in ODIN MODE. Which would not be a problem, if Odin could detect my device on my PC, which is not happening. I am on WIN11. The steps what I have tried:
1. I have downloaded drivers from https://developer.samsung.com/android-usb-driver.
2. I have tried multiple versions of ODIN (v3.09, v3.12, v3.13) which I have ran as administrator.
3. I have tried to connect SM-G900F on older notebook with WIN7 (HP Mini 5102) and installed drivers from step 1.
4. As last resort, I have downloaded and installed Samsung Kies (on WIN11), which – as I expected – have not solved my problem at all.
I am not sure what step should I take next. Do you have any ideas? Thank you in advance for any recomendations!
Best regards,
Neuro
