Hi. My MX Style is on MM 6.0. Youtube videos pause after a few seconds all the time. After resuming them they are paused again after a few secs and so on. I tried to delete the app data ,uninstalling app updates, reinstalling them...no luck. Any idea? Thanks in advance !
FIXED: Uninstalled Zedge app and...works.

I've got the application gPOD installed which is a music downloader app.
I don't know if it's this app or the stock app but sometimes I will get random music play (if im on the home page for example). But nothing shows up in notification as playing so I can't even stop the music.

try going into settings>applications and force closing each one at a time to see which stops the music. then you will know
How can I kill the Music app when I am done using it. It is still attached to the play controls!
This is a very annoying issue. I can not believe Google missed it.
I don't use the music app. But have had other apps do similar. Have you tried opening the Play Store app or the Movies app and then close it? I've found opening and closing an app that does it correctly may help. The apps with issues just need an update to fix them.

After restarting the nexus player it still has the play/pause button connected to the music app. I ended up disabling it completely.
No if I can find an eq that works on it.

I believe you have to hit the stop in the app (on screen)to disconnect the app. Also if you start another app that connects to the play/pause button it should disconnect as well.
Hello all,
I have been trying to search for similar problems but can't seem to find a similar post.
I use BeyondPod Pro, but also tried different players.
I disabled pause on notification in settings, but everytime I write (not receiving) a message in WhatsApp the player STOPS and I need to restart BeyondPod app and press play again. This makes it unusable to listen if chatting with friends.
is there any solution for this? any other app you recommend? I tried another Podcast app but didnt solve the issue.
Thank you

Hello to all,
I have an issue with my P9 Lite, since some weeks if I use youtube or spotify the process Media Server starts to drain a lot of battery
Normally it is active some minutes.
I tried to uninstall/install the apps, delete cache/data of the 2 apps, I delete all the photos/images in the gallery (to correct some corrupted images), but this not solves. The only solution that I found is just reboot the phone, but it is unconfortable, everytime that I watch a video or listen a song should I reboot the phone?

I have the same problem here.
I also have the same issue!
I play asphalt 9 on my phone while listening to YouTube prime in the background. Issue is if I need to watch a ad it stops YouTube. Anyway to completely silence a app? I know I can disable notifications but how about audio?
Sound assistant from Samsung did the trick. You can forever silent a app and also make an app keep playing audio no matter what other program you open over it.
