Guys, I never post these kinds of issues, but I'm stumped... no matter what I do I cannot see files over USB anymore! WEIRDEST thing I've seen in a long time... I can see FOLDERS no problem. Files act like they don't exist! Any ideas? I'm on PN, BTW... Thanks in advance!

Is encryption enabled?
^ negative, but a clean flash of the latest PN build seems to have resolved it... very strange!!

Hi I am looking for an app to unlock my windows files on my phone. When I try to delete most files it says "unable to delete, may be in use" so is there a program to let me do this and is it the one posted called "Unlocker"? Thanks...TJ

I encountered this problem once about 8 months ago. I had made a couple of posting on this forum somewhere. I can't remember what I did to revolve it but nobody else had similar problem then. I'd also try to find and see if I can locate my post.
Thanks I would appreciate it. I want to remove some files that are not necessary...TJ
Here it is. I hope this matches the problem that you were describing.

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to to a hard reset unless its necessary so I'll just wait for a program to come along. Thanks again...TJ
Is there anyway to change the indialer backgrounds on the wing? I can find some dialer screens, but all I want to do is change the background not the buttons. Also when someone calls I would like to be able to change that background as well. I have searched all over this site and the net and can find nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
after 3 days on here you think i would have a response. oh well guess it can't be done

No it can be done. I remember reading about it a WHILE ago...but I did a little searching and this is what I came up with. Its called tdial design.

Thanks for the reply, but I tried that and it has an error in the file after i unzip and try to use it. May be I'm doing something wrong. Will try again.

This is the file I used....it worked fine.
I guess my computer does not recognize this app. Every time I try to open it I get "the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)." what the Hell does that mean?

Hmmm, odd. I even redownloaded the app that I posted, unzipped it, and reinstalled it and it worked fine. You are unzipping the file first, and then trying to run the application right? Maybe whatever you are using to unzip could be corrupt. Try winrar or winzip to unzip it.
Oh, you aren't trying to install this on your phone are you? You install this on your computer and run it there, not your phone.
tdial only works if your dialer is the HTC touch dialer that comes with some roms. The default TMo rom doesn't have it. If you want to customize it with tdial, you need to first have HTC touch dialer installed.
I'm getting crazy over here...
from one moment my G'reloc does give me errors when applying.
It says:
Can not open file C:\Kitchen\SYS\***\***
*** = a different map/file each time
I tried different G'Reloc.exe files and used different SYS-folders (even ones that worked before without any problems)
Can not cook roms anymore because they will not boot somehow...
Please help me with this weird error..
What are the files it's trying to access?
Also check out the IRC room they have, if it's still up at least.

It's a different file each time....beats me...
But often it is one of the bluetooth related files....
Maybe the files you downloaded were corrupted. Try manually replacing the files, or just uninstall and reinstall the kitchen.

Ok I know a little bit more...:
I formatted my laptop and did a clean install of windows...
After that g'reloc worked again.
I installed all programs I always use on my pc again.
And today when I used G'reloc again I get the same error each time. Even if I use different locations or diffirent SYS folders (also ones I know they work!)
Which program or setting interacts with G'reloc???
Merten i don't use that program because i don't know what it does.
But i tryed to open it but i think i got the same error as you got.
Is it something like this: cannot open file (root\dir\imageinfo.bin).
And then you only have one option to click the ok button (this will exit the program)?
Know i tryed some other g'reloc programs what i got and the all gived me the same error pointing to the imageinfo.bin and then give me one option to click the ok button.
But there was one g'reloc program what did work and gived me no error.
I send a email to you with g'reloc.exe so it could be that it will give your virusscan some trouble because it is a .exe file I hope it will work for you.
I will back in some hours so i can't respons to your questions so fast.

Thanx man for the effort. But I did not receive a thing... did you mail to:
[email protected]?
If your back maybe you can upload to rapidshare?
Thanx anyway!!
Well, I came across two things in PPCGeeks forum. People reported errors when they were running G'reloc on FAT32 en fixed it by changing to NTFS.
The other thing was that people reported a fix by just disabling their antivirus program. This might explain why it worked before you started installing all your programs on a clean windows install. I hope it works for you as well because I really like your roms

WOOHOOOO!!!! the Virusscanner was the problem!!!! I use kaspersky for a year but probably since a recent update it messes up g'reloc....

Next time, please post questions in the Q&A section.
thank you
Hey all,
When I tap my HARET_PHOTON7227.exe file that was delivered with CardSharings latest package, I get the error "The file 'HARET_PHOTON7227.exe' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file."
Formatting the SD card didn't work, neither did using the HARET.exe file that was delivered with Cotulla's port...
Help!
Thanks in advance!
MadMatt
I don`t think its a problem with the executable itself. Did you get that with your own rom or a stock one?
Did you read my info of this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12414206&postcount=9
I met the problem before.all the execute programs can not be launched and gave me the same information.neither a soft reset nor another sdcard worked.at last,I made a hard reset.it be resolved.good luck!
Indeed, all executables failed. I have hard reset my ROM (not a stock one) and now it works.
Thanks!
Interesting I have had this problem twice, a few months ago. But that was with an older version of Nsourm rom, of course no idea if it was something in the rom or another application that I installed...
Seems like a problem that occurs once in a while with custom ROMs... But now we know what to do
You didn't answer me!

Maybe a silly remark: I run your ROM too, never had an issue with haret before. But yesterday I got the same remark: what happened is the Storage Card2 issue, that the name of the storage card has changed from storage card to storage card2. This is an issue I haven't seen often lately. But it would be quite difficult not seeing this I guess.

Oops, sorry, yes I've read your answer. And it wasn't correct. I tried to run HaRET from internal memory too But don't mind, after a hard reset it worked.

That's another issue I have this sometimes in Stock ROMs too. Don't know why it happens, seems like a bug in WM. Restarting your phone usually solves this
MadMatt, So you tried the number one and two, Right?

explorer is crashing every time i transfer an mkv file. avi, jepg etc gets transferred fine. any one else having this issue?
update:i have found a fix (sort of) enabling usb debugging seem to do the job
How big is the file you want to transfer? If it's more then 4GB then you found the problem.

You can see it from screenshot 1,98 GB.
It's rather a Windows problem like I see it. Maybe faulty codecs..

it plays fine on my pc.
There is a USB mode setting, try to change it I don't remember the actual name anymore. (on the phone)
And if you change extension, then once it is copied change extension again. Does that work?

read my original post. i have a fix, just enable usb debugging mode.
If not have you tried the Kies Air? It's convenient for when I'm transferring to and from the uni computers and haven't got my usb.
