so here i go
i have just received my jasjar from SBE after them having it for over two month (complete morons over there dont EVER use then unless you are obliged to). got it back, worked fine for a week and now, it will ONLY log on to UMTS networks for example im sitting at home i have a U symbol and 2 bars signal strength. I go into phone settings and select GSM instead of auto and it stays searching for 10 minutes then says no signal, i can get it to join the network if i select manually my network but i can then make no calls or texts or log on to the gprs network. i am using pocket phone thingy for the today screen. and here comes the wierd part. when im out of signal in a non umts area the today screen plug in reports a signal strength ie 63% and above it it states attempting voice connection. and HERE THE REALLY WEIRD PART. i still receive my cell broadcasts when out of gsm signal. ie its searching and ill get a 'text' saying 0208, 01829 .
Please help and dont tell me i have to send it back to the idiots at SBE
I am facing network problem. Actually i was getting a weak network. So, i take my elf to a mobile shop. The person there ensure me that the problem will be sort out. he told me that it's because of weak network IC.
But, after he changed the IC, no network is coming now. The mobile is in searching mode now.
Someone, please help me on this, can anything be done now?
when i take my mobile out of my house, it catches the network but signal strength is very weak.
Someone, please tell something, it's urgent..

Hey guys need help see my galaxy is having very weak signal it gets 0-1 bars on a normall basis and i cant send texts because of it please help me
Are you using your mobile network for internet? Try enabling the 2G option btw, I also have very low signal and switching to 2G solves the problem. Loading pages may take longer but atleast the signal will be stronger.

flash your phone or use any custom rom
I am already on Hyperion 8 also I m not using it for surfing the net just for texts but it's still weak
Try this, go to settings>mobile networks>Network mode>GSM/WCDMA(auto mode)
please help me. my s4 i9050 can't access 3G . i can use only 2G . when i set wcdma only, it has not signal . i see many people have this problem, but have not any solution . all boss in this forum can not give a answer for this problem ? sorry for my bad english
hello to all friends and great android masters. i am form pakistan i have a really annoying problem with my S5 it is g900s SK TELECOM korean variant. i bought it second hand. every thing is working great but it cant connect to 3g network its always connects with GPRS and shows G indicator in status bar. internet speed is really very slow on GPRS. here in pakistan the services providers provide 3G at frequency of 2100. so i think this phone is not compatible with this frequency ( correct me if i am wrong). if so than please please tell me is there any solution available for this problem????? can i fix it? can i force my phone to connect with this frequency??? any other solution please i am really upset please help me friends. i also tried to install custom rom but its still the same. when i select WCDMA in settings it drops the signals. i am a poor guy i can not aford another phone so please guys i request u to tell me a solution if there is one available:crying:
