Imported Nexus: How to get the credit for Play store?

Has anyone managed to get the credit on a imported device in a foreign "non Google" country? If so, please describe how we can get the credit too, thanks!

Same question, I tried every method possible, removing credit card from Google wallet, setting credit card with US address, factory reset and still no 25$ credit.

I'm from the UK and I got it from just logging in to my gmail on setup. My n7 was from Currys.

Google Wallet didn't work at Rite Aid

I went into rite aid with my nexus 7 to try and spend my credit and it didn't work. The tablet said check to cashier to confirm translation but she said it didn't work.
She kinda understood and said it usually doesn't work even with the PayPass credit cards.
NFC works fine as android beam form my Nexus 7 to my Nexus S works fine.
Anybody else have this problem?

Mine worked at CVS.

Was the $25 credit even to be used at outside stores or market only ?

The $25 credit was for use in the play store to buy movies, music, apps, etc.
When you signed up for Google wallet that were giving out $10 credit for use however you wanted.

Question? At the time of using Google Wallet, did you have a data connection active on the tablet? There must be a active data connection for Google Wallet to work.

It work fine for me at rite aide. I don't have an internet connection either. I think you have to tell the cashier to split the transaction into 2. Use the 10$ on the Google wallet credit, then pay the difference with your own money. That's what I did.

A data connection is NOT needed for Google wallet to function. A data connection is only used to update the available balance.
I use my N7 / Google Wallet daily and internet is not required.
Also, whenever I use Google wallet I also tell the cashier first that I'm going to be using credit. Never had an issue.

Google wallet payment.

This is the second time I've gone to CVS to make an NFC payment and it fails each time. I get an error try again message. Any advice? I have a stock rooted Nexus with a T-Mobile sim.

I've run into this same issue where it won't work at CVS or toys r us, sketchy at meijer, but works great at Walgreens and 7/11. I've contacted Google and all their wallet department would say to me is that everything looks good on their end, but they are aware of software bugs in the version on our phone and a new version is coming.
BTW, I'm on at&t and I'm fully stock.

It could be that the pad at the store is broken. If it works at one store but not the other, there is not reason to think that its your phone that works. Sometimes the people behind the counter need to press the credit button before you make the transaction as well.

I'll try giving it another shot next time I'm at walgreens or maybe McDonald's

Using UK device to order from usa play store whilst in usa

Bit long winded but I am in the USA for a couple of months and want to get my wife a nexus 4.
When I log into the play store though it keeps pointing me to the UK store even though I am in the USA.
So is it my account or my device that I need to tweak to be able to order?

It should be your account. I think your account has an UK address and that's why it's redirecting you to the UK store.

So if I remove my UK addresses then that could work

Google Wallet

Hi guys I'm on T-Mobile and I updated Google wallet and now it keeps telling me that it can't set up tap and pay. please try again. I'm running beanstalk as well..
It worked fine before..I think.
Any ideas?

Do this.. Go to the site from your pc and login yhrough it will show you the number of devices actually logged in to google wallet. remove them all and then try loging in your wallet account from phone, Profit..
