On my ZTE blade, When i put a sim card into the phone i get the message 'No Sim Detected'
So it does not know that a sim card has been inserted
The IMEI is clean and it has not been blocked
the sim is making perfect contact with the contacts
I have tried re-installing my Cyanogen Rom but no luck?
What could cause this and how can it be fixed,
Thankyou
Tried it on another ROM?
Tried a different SIM Card?
I pulled the SIM card out last night on my Note 3 and then put it back in. After booting up , the phone showed a "No SIM Card" error. I have tried to re-seat the card and have rebooted many times and it still does not work. My old Note 2 is being used by my son so I put his SIM card in my phone and it works just fine so obviously its a bad SIM card at this point which I confirmed by putting it in the Note 2 and it said the "No SIM Card" error. At this point I just need to go to Version and get a new SIM card. The question I have is, do I need to wipe my phone and put it back to a stock Rom or will Verizon just give me a new SIM and ignore the fact that it rooted? This issue really isn't a warranty situation so I was hoping to not have to go through all of that.

Why not use your son's Note 2 (unless it's also rooted) and get a new SIM Card? It doesn't matter which phone the sim card is put in, as long as it is associated with a Verizon phone number. Then you can switch the card back. I don't know if Verizon keeps track of "rooted" phones by customers in case you try to reset your phone to original and then claim a warranty.
Just my $0.02.
Cheers,
B.D.
I went ahead and did a Nandroid backup and then reverted it to stock and will switch back after.

I usually swap sim cards with my phones when i need to and never have a problem. One time it wouldn't read and i had to use a screen cleaning cloth to wipe it off and it worked again.

Hi everyone! Please help!
I have a problem with XT905. When i put sim card into phone its writes that sim card is invalid. But it(phone) can see when sim card is in the phone and when its not.
SIM card work correctly on the other phone.
What is need to do? Is it possible, that phone is locked to another carrier? In settings there is shown that phone is XT905 Australia.
Solved by flashing stock radio image.
Hello
I'm having a problem getting my G2 to recognize the SIM card. I just did a glass/digitizer/LCD/casing replacement and everything else is working no problems. I put the card in my old phone and no problems with the card. Looking into the card reader all the pins seem to be intact. You can see the marks on the SIM card chip from the pins. The device is rooted. My next step is to do a backup and reflash the factory ROM. I can't really see this being the problem though...
Any other ideas?
I was using Mokee based on MM(with KitKat Bootloader). I had 2 sims-airtel and vodafone which worked perfectly with the rom(and with other roms that i had ever tried). I bought a Jio Sim and I put it into slot 1(which earlier had the airtel sim) and i put the airtel sim in the second slot. When I switched on my phone, it got stuck in a bootloop. I removed the jio sim and it turned out to be fine. However, when I put my vodafone sim back, it didn't detect any of the sim cards and i swapped the position of both the sims, but it just didn't work. I realised that i was in the situation wherein my phone assumed that i had a hybrid sim card slot and if i remove the sd card, the sims work fine and if i don't with both the sims, it wont detect either. However, if i put one sim with sd card, it works fine. I flashed MIUI 7.5(kitkat bootloader) via fastboot but that didn't solve the problem. I flashed MIUI 7.0.3, but that didn't do the trick either. I flashed Mokee again (based on MM), which gave me the same result. I even flashed a Nougat based ROM(Ressurection Remix which I had flashed when it came out and my sims worked well with it along with the sd card), but again, same result.
Is there a way for me to solve this problem? I don't want to use the Jio sim, i just want that both my sims(airtel and vodafone) work perfectly.
