I dropped my phone last month so i ordered a complete frame with screen and digitizer from ebay.. today i got it and i changed it.. when i connected everything i tried to turn it on but nothing happened.. i tried putting it to its official charger and a red light blinks for 8 times then a little pause and happens again and again and again.. i cant even power it on
HELP please (sorry if i am out of topic)
anyone help?? PLease i dont have a phone and i need it

hello searched the forum but hadn`t found the answer.
the problem is:
i recieved from ebay t-mobide Mda Pro
it was in the road approx. 3 weeks.
when i tryed to power it on - nothing happens, if i put the wall charger in- the red ligth blinks once and then nothing goes, even after half an hour - no blinking, can`t switch it on.
can you tell me what i have to do to power it on?

Sounds like you got stiffed. Only thing I can suggest is try a different battery. Hopefully you know someone with a universal so that you can just borrow the battery for 5 mins to check if A: It works and B: when you pop it on charge the light goes orange.

After office i just headed towards my home and checked my htc made a call and then I put the phone into my jeans pocket, rode the bike and went to home. When i reached to the home i placed the phone on table and after 2 to 3 hours i checked the phone and it was damn dead..................Till now i am not able to start the phone..................Can any body on earthy can help me...I love my phone but now its gone dead.
Any solutions please
Did you try turn it on while charging it? Did the orange color LED light up while charging?

i just cooked mine with shadow 2.1.
he got strange behavior turning off all night (i do in the morning), he looks fine at start, but if i stop use and i suppose he enter on standby suddenly he ar turned off, now I cant turn him on and on charging he just show orange light, shows "smart mobility" and dont start. tks in advance
I charged my phone before I went to bed last night and then left it unplugged (not charging) when I went up stairs to sleep. When I woke up this morning my phone was off, so I tried turning it on and I kept getting 3 blinking red lights on the power button. I tried it several times and it wouldn't turn on, just blinked at me. So I held the button down for about 10 seconds, after about 3 or 4 more of the 3X blinking red lights I get no response. Just that dead feeling you get when one of your electronics no longer works.
So I go down stairs and plug it in to charge and leave it for a bit, a while later I was able to turn it on. Found the battery at 2%, thought that was odd since I was at 100% when I went to bed and had the screen off all night (to my knowledge).
Is the blinking red light serious or does it just mean "your battery is so low your phone can't turn on"?
If the light blinks red it can mean several things. In your case it is not serious, i had this problem myself and i have searched for it, i found threads of people having the same issue and their phone came back to life after a few hours of charging.
So actually its just the battery being dead, it needs more charging even too show the charging progress screen lol.
In my experience the light also blinks red when you flash a firmware version of the xperia arc on your xperia play (lol XD).
The blinking red lights are an indication that your phone battery is drained and needs to be charged before the phone can switch on. There's nothing wrong with your phone.

I was using flashtool to flash the official firmware and then BAM! my phone died, so I then tried to turn it back on and it wouldnt, I also tryed to put the phone into flashmode so I can re flash it but still nothing, my play comes up as an unrecognised device on the PC
anyone able to help

the story :
i remove the SD card directly without going through the settings, then immediately turns blue and can not be turned off and getting hot from the back cover , and I wait for the phone turns itself off and I tried to charge its battery back.... im not getting anything , no blink LED charging , no detect on USB mode , or anything..
im tryin ask to several technician in my town , some say the Internal , LCD , and batteries.
but im not sure with all guesses so im open up my LCD by my self and tryin to change my LCD with the new one , but still i have nothing ..
is anyone having the same problem with mine ??

Samsung recommend holding down the LOWER volume and power keys simultaneously for 7 seconds and it worked for me on my A5. No more BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death.)
Make sure the phone is charged.
How does A series have LED charging indicator?
Hi All,
I haven't made any changes recently. And all has been fine. After I woke up this morning, I went to check the screen and nothing was responding.
I have had this happen in the past and I just press power and volume down button (I even tried holding it over 1 minute now)
The strangest part is, there is a blue led flashing every 5 seconds (top left) I have tried every combination, I can't get it to do anything!!! I wish i could just pull out the battery. The LED light is teasing me can someone please help. I bought this as an international model and am in Australia, so there's no warranty!
Just an update, it came back to life RANDOMLY after 3 hours? i restarted it to make sure and it was all good.
After using it, I was on a whatsapp call and it suddenly crashed again. I thought the person I was talking to went quiet, i went to turn on screen and now it's just a red LED and I can't do anything (It was charging at the time and had red LED, so i assumed it was okay...)
Quite annoying! Please helpp
