A bit of a backstory, I've installed CM13 a while ago, then installed Gapps, everything was working perfectly.
Then a day ago I decided to install Viper4Android, but it was buggy so I decided to uninstall it, they said the best way to do that is to wipe /system, then flash CM13 again, and that's it.
I did that, the ROM still worked flawlessly, but then I realized I also needed to flash Gapps again, so I did, and I constantly got "Unfortunately XY has stopped" messages (it was 2 or 3 things that always stopped, but I can only remember that one of them was Setup Wizard).
I've tried installing Gapps immediately after installing the ROM too, but the results are the same.
Is it possible that it's because I've installed a different variant of Gapps than previously? I couldn't remember if at first I downloaded pico, nano, micro or mini.
Or what else could be the problem?

Hi guys,
Im currently running CM 10.1-2013072 Nightly and any time I try to update via OTA my tablet starts freaking out. all the latest versions are 10.2. The Stock keyboard repeatedly force closes. Apps that were installed prior to the update are no longer installed. I have tried doing a full wipe (factory, cache, system) then install the latest nightly. It installs fine but when It loads up to the initial configuration screen the stock keyboard repeatedly ForceCloses still and I cant do anything with the tablet. I have gapps-20130301.....is there a newer one or is this still the latest gapps? Thanks!
UPDATE: I was using the wrong gapps version. All is good now

I recently tried to install the most recent version of PAC ROM for my Galaxy S4 (Sprint, SPH-L720, running PAC ROM 23.0 and Android 4.2.2) from their nightly basket builds (I tried to install the November 19th build.) The installation itself goes off without a hitch, as does the GApps installation. However, after installing it (cleaned out the cache and Davlik cache prior to installation, installed GApps after installation), I get multiple error messages. The keyboard process has stopped working, and android.process.acore have stopped working (tells me to blame Tyler.) The device also seems to be laggy in general, and when I try to launch the Phone app, it says it is not installed.
I just want to be able to use 4.3 and PAC ROM's newest features.
If someone can help me resolve this issue or link me to a stable but updated build of PAC ROM, that would be great.

You need to do a full wipe from PAC23 to 4.3 (factory reset in recovery)

Hey guys.
I don´t wanted to create a thread about this but after some troubleshooting without a solution i don´t know what to do.
After i installed (i think it happens after that) kingmercians hydrogen os, i doesn´t matter which rom i use (cm13, cm12, aicp, ......) i got random reboots. I did´nt install any new app, tried it with gapps, without gapps.... Sometimes it happened right after the first boot of a new rom, sometimes while i restored via TB (no system apps!). It´s not reproducible for me.
I don´t want to make it factory fresh but i know this could be the last way.
Any suggestions?

Did you wipe before you installed new rom ? , also have to say that cyanogenmods like 12.1 and 13 are still unstable tried all myself too . I suggest you to wipe everything but not internal storage , after you installed those ROM's and gapps did you wipe ? also what gapps are you using ?

Yeah.... Every time i switch between roms i wipe everything, cache, data, dalvik and system. And after gapps, i wipe dalvik and cache.
The strange thing is, the roms i used before without any problems (installed for example razor rom which i still had on my internal memory) causes reboots. That never happens before.

I installed H2O by king but didn't had issues I changed it because of the notification system , sometimes it took minutes untill I've got a notification on screen off ,and sometimes I had to open the app to see that I got notifications (apps like Whatsapp , Facebook messenger ), after that I installed cm 12.1 and 13 also , on both had problems on camera and rebooted every single time I opened Camera app and Wifi/Data change didn't always worked , they are still unstable I suggest you to install OxigenOS with boeffa kernel and try some of those profiles there my phone working way better than before http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/unofficial-boeffla-kernel-profiles-t3289395 , or if you like custom ROM's what gapps are you using ?

I used open gapps mini. Used them on every rom. But yesterday i thought to go with OxySlim and the included Boeffla Kernel and yes, works like a charm! No reboots since 14 hours. Eyerything is like it should right now.

hey, i have random reboots and it always happens when I am in another location that is not my home. I thought that it was related to location and wifi but that is not the case. I clean flash and I accidentally wiped out my internal storage. My phone works now but please help

pls help me.. after flashing cm13 RR ... when i m installing watsapp .. bootloop occurs.. camera 360 as well, i flashed stock fimware and the flashed cm13 rr ..but no luck

I have pretty much the same issue but it's not exclusive to whatsapp, other apps send the phone into a bootloop as well, this started a while ago, I installed the cm12 last year or so and it worked great for a long time, then after a while I tried to install the spotify app and things went south, phone went into bootloop so I deleted it from recovery mode and just ignored the issue. Yesterday I installed the cm13 hoping I would get a clean slate, I did everything right, full wipe, flashed the rom, gapps, patch and front cam fix and although everything kept crashing at first ( google launcher and pixel launcher) I eventually got it working, I installed messenger, worked fine, then tried to install whatsapp and it went into a bootloop. Anyone please help us.

I have the same issue on CM12. Phone get stuck in boot-loop after installing whatsapp latest version. I was able to get out of boot-loop after I deleted whatsapp app.
Its very important to use whatsapp. Please any fix for this?
I couldn't find a fix. The best you can do move to nougat ROMs like aicp or crdroid.

I too am now stuck on boot loop due to Whatsapp.
I do not need this app and will happily delete it, if this is what is causing the issues, but my problem is, how do I delete it now that I am stuck in a boot loop?
Enter safe mode and delete the app.
It's better to remove cm12 and install new ROM crdriod

I recently acquired a Nexus 6P.
TWRP is properly installed as the Recovery - twrp-3.2.3-0-angler
First thing I did with the device was flash the latest Android 8.1 Oreo version to it - angler-ota-opm7.181205.001-abb36a2f
I then installed Lineage OS 15.1, Open G Apps 8.1 (nano), and SU
From there I've done nothing but struggle with bugs and quirks. The device has been re-imaged several different times, with different variations of the above setup, and one of the main things I need to get working (Android Auto) keeps failing. Does anyone have any idea why Android Auto keeps pulling up the error "Google Play Services doesn't seem to be working right now"
All of the suggestions I've found online have failed. Screenshots have been provided for the version info and error. I've already cleared the data caches and tried to re-install and re-flash the device.
I got pissed and went back to JUST the stock OTA for testing/verification. With the stock rom there are no issues. Seems like Lineage OS 15.1 on the Nexus 6P has some bugs to work out. A fully functional stock phone is better then being frustrated.
If anyone can confirm I'm not crazy or explain what I missed while troubleshooting that would be awesome.

Try magisk as root method insted of su...
Other than that, cant think any other solution
