Hello there.
I recently tried to install the most recent version of PAC ROM for my Galaxy S4 (Sprint, SPH-L720, running PAC ROM 23.0 and Android 4.2.2) from their nightly basket builds (I tried to install the November 19th build.) The installation itself goes off without a hitch, as does the GApps installation. However, after installing it (cleaned out the cache and Davlik cache prior to installation, installed GApps after installation), I get multiple error messages. The keyboard process has stopped working, and android.process.acore have stopped working (tells me to blame Tyler.) The device also seems to be laggy in general, and when I try to launch the Phone app, it says it is not installed.
I just want to be able to use 4.3 and PAC ROM's newest features.
If someone can help me resolve this issue or link me to a stable but updated build of PAC ROM, that would be great.

You need to do a full wipe from PAC23 to 4.3 (factory reset in recovery)

Hi guys,
ok so basically I asked for help on this in a thread thinking it was ROM related, but now I know it's not. I flashed cm 10.2 after stock 4.3 and what happens is that when I try to restore my backups they don't work (I mean TB installs them, but they FC as soon as I open them). Thinking it was CM related I tried another 4.3 ROM and same issue there (I tried all 4.3 ROMs on xda).
I then decided to go back to 4.2.2 thinking it was 4.3 related and again with yesterday's PAC nightly the issue is still there...
This is what I see when I reboot my phone:
"System UIDs Inconsistent
UIDs on the system are
inconsistent, you need to wipe
your data partition or your
device will be unstable.
I'm Feeling Lucky"
Any ideas guys?
Get the Fix Permissions application from the Play Store.

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone's knows of a fix for, or even the cause of issues with the SGS4 and Android 4.3 roms.
I have tried 6 different ROMS over the last 3 days and with all of them I get the same result. The ROM flashes fine, the phone reboots in to the ROM and I can set everything up. The ROM will work perfectly for as long as I leave the phone on. For every ROM, as soon as I restart the phone for the first time, it hangs at the SGS4 logo, before the cyanogen spinning circle or the google circles, and does not proceed.
The only way I have found to get it working after it is in this state is to clear the cache, dalvik AND data.
Most of my attempts have been with the CM 10.2 ROM, 10.1 works perfectly but 10.2 has the same issue.
I have tried it with just the ROM, with the ROM and Gapps, with the ROM, Gapps and SuperUser and nothing seems to work.
Just FYI I am using the internation gt-i9505 roms with TWRP (latest version).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Im currently running CM 10.1-2013072 Nightly and any time I try to update via OTA my tablet starts freaking out. all the latest versions are 10.2. The Stock keyboard repeatedly force closes. Apps that were installed prior to the update are no longer installed. I have tried doing a full wipe (factory, cache, system) then install the latest nightly. It installs fine but when It loads up to the initial configuration screen the stock keyboard repeatedly ForceCloses still and I cant do anything with the tablet. I have gapps-20130301.....is there a newer one or is this still the latest gapps? Thanks!
UPDATE: I was using the wrong gapps version. All is good now
I've been using Quarx's CyanogenMod 11.0 (KitKat 4.4.2) since its January 20 release. However, my phone starting to become slow with the time (nothing related to the build but the extensive device use & data exchanging). Today i decided to upgrade to most recent build (NIGHTLY 23/03). Of course i wiped everything before. I installed the build directly from TWRP with no big problems, however, i disliked this "new"? recovery interface (this one that shows two options (RECOVERY) and (ANDROID) and this "Press search to load the system" thing. I Would like to disable it and return to the old M logo, where i had the blue led to warn me about the recovery thing. Is this possible? I mean, take this thing out?
Now the most important. As i said, i've been on the development thread since the beginning, but i didn't found any working answer to my situation. After trying both GAPPS 4.4.2, i see a black screen on first boot with the Standard GAPPS and only a "Choose your laguage" with Minimal, after chosen i get a "Launcher stopped working".I cant add the google account without the GAPPS, as some peoples suggested to another on that topic. I remember that i read something related to install the previous working build (20/01) and then upgrade to the newer, after setting the account on the older build. But theres no january 20 on quarxs ftp, what now? HELP PLS
System + data + cache wipe, use core gapps 2-26. If you encounter issues, then again install rom after full wipe, but don't install gapps immediately. Reboot, and delete unwanted system apps to free up space, and then flash gapps and wipe cache

do not use standard gapps..system partition not big enough to store standard gapps..install core gapps
A bit of a backstory, I've installed CM13 a while ago, then installed Gapps, everything was working perfectly.
Then a day ago I decided to install Viper4Android, but it was buggy so I decided to uninstall it, they said the best way to do that is to wipe /system, then flash CM13 again, and that's it.
I did that, the ROM still worked flawlessly, but then I realized I also needed to flash Gapps again, so I did, and I constantly got "Unfortunately XY has stopped" messages (it was 2 or 3 things that always stopped, but I can only remember that one of them was Setup Wizard).
I've tried installing Gapps immediately after installing the ROM too, but the results are the same.
Is it possible that it's because I've installed a different variant of Gapps than previously? I couldn't remember if at first I downloaded pico, nano, micro or mini.
Or what else could be the problem?
