[Need Help] Soft-Bricked - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Huawei P8 Lite [ALE-L21]. I had unlocked the bootloader once. After that I reinstalled stock rom. After trying to upgrade to Marshmallow beta, it got stuck in the logo screen.
I have access to fastboot and recovery
I have not USB debugging enabled
I think bootloader got locked again (In fastboot says in green letters phone LOCKED
WHAT I HAVE TRIED
Install stock rom via dload [right away it says software installation failed]
Install image files via adb [says FAILED and I think that it doesn't have access to that command]
I need help as soon as possible . Thanks in advance

you will need to put a higher version on your sdcard, for example if you have version b170 you need to put version b188 and make a force upgrade by turn your phone off and press volum buttons up and down an the power key, keep press until you enter in upgrade mod and the adb command will work only with bootloader unlock

Before i soft-bricked my phone, I was trying to install version b524. I tried to install again b524, b170 and b188 but none of them worked. B524 and b188 are both update packages. Is there anything I can do (there is not a newer version than b524, or at least I think so)?
BTW : sorry for answering late

THANKS !!! :laugh::laugh::highfive:
While I was searching about version b524, I run into an article about downgrading from b524 to b300 to b170. And it worked! I downgrade to b300 (still soft-bricked). After that I successfuly downgraded to b170. Thanks again!

Glad you succes unbrick your phone

You should unlock your bootloader and flash ROM via fastboot. That will upgrade your phone to 6.0. Would you like directions on how to do that?

Why rom india?
Last Update is not 571 Europe?
I had try with multitool . Mode UNBRICK

I can try to install driver, install Hisuite, check on debug mode phone. But nothing
On boot screen "fastboot % rescue mode", I see "Phone Locked"
UPDATE
Impossible to get unlock code
https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/detail
correct data but "Verification Code error" on submit
I have a very strange serial number: "EMUI3.1_PE-TL10_6.1.1" ?!?!?!
I see another SN on Settings> About Phone and then "Status". It should be correct but does something not work (16 decimal numbers(0~9) or capital letters(A~Z)
always correct data but "Verification Code error" on submit
You have to unlock bootloader before you can use fastboot mode to unbrick. The SN in settings - about - phone status is the right one. give it a try again or pm me needed details so I generate the unlock code for you.

For me, this ROM has reported problems. It could be the reason for the failed flash.
I do not think of being able to access the internal memory (with USB) to replace the ROM.
I thought that I can:
1) to performed hardreset (vol+-power, EMUI menu)
2) To put another rom on an external memory
3) Do unbrick again
What you think?
but I check now, Your rom is perfect.
I don't know what to do anymore

Yes, I noticed that from time to time, in bootloader mode, it is written unlocked, but as the device bootloop (bug) I believe it too. so
I retype systematically the bootloader code to open.

If you have your bootloader unlocked (if you don,t have it, unlock it) and flash TWRP. After that, flash B130 for your VNS-L31. Done.
Unlock yor Bootloader again. And try flashing again.
Have hade the same problem. My bootloader showed unlocked, but he was not.

Shut down your device. Press the switch off for 10 secounds.
When the phone is off, swith on and same time with vol + without usb-kabel, and otherwise try it with usb-kabel.
When you stock recovery starts. You can try a factoryreset.
When you Revolution recovery starts flash oem.info again and perform the dload methode with your right MM UPDATE.APP.

i unlocked the boatloader but cannt install twrp
can anyone help me please
Did you try the revolution twrp for nougat? You should flash that one, install the oemfile and dload a marshmallow file, after that go into recovery and hard reset your phone. This should get you back to marshmallow.
Or not to go down to MM. If you are always in nougat, But installs HWdataFull that suits you.
Install recoverynougat b9, MOUNT data, install HwDataFull, reboot bootloader, install recovery stock nougat. Reboot recovery and factory rest. Reboot.

Your phone starts on nougat, go to setup, allow debugging usb, and verify that unlocking oem is enabled.
Lite adb and fastboot to pc and write fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Connected to the usb cable.
Hisuite will start, do not close it, reduce it.
On phone supported volume - and power, it will go to fastboot mode.
To the pc click ok. Do not fastboot reboot.
Unplugged the cable and pressed volume + and power, the Huawei logo does not lose volume + only power as you lose it.

Upgrading P8 Lite Dual Sim from ALE21 C636B150 EMUI 3.1

Guys I'm really lost trying to upgrade to Android 6 or even 7.
I know I must upgrade to at least EMUI 4.0
I know I am rooted.
I'm unsure if I have unlocked my boot loader.
How do I easily change Country Codes? Do I even need to do it?
I think if someone can assist with these early steps, then I can proceed alone to install new ROMs etc.
C636 is for South East / South Asian regions...
To check whether you've unlocked your bootloader or not, just boot into the fastboot mode... To do that, shut down your device completely then connect your device to your laptop / PC holding the volume down button. Once you enter into fastboot mode, there a Message will be displayed under the Android Logo. You can confirm whether your bootloader is locked or not.
If your only goal is to get Marshmallow, then you can search for firmware and then manually upgrade using the dload method.
First, you download the required firmware (gradually up to Marshmallow), then you extract the update.zip to get UPDATE.APP file (usually 2.3GB+). Then you copy the UPDATE.APP file into a folder named dload. You must then copy this dload folder to the root of Internal Memory and you can update your Android through Updater.

[Help][Debrand] P10 Lite and Firmware Finder

I'm not an English native speaker, so I won't write in perfect English, hope it is understandable.
The questions are in the bottom of the post.
-
So, I recently bought an Huawei P10 Lite. I'm new to the Huawei scene but I modded some Samsung phones some years ago.
When I booted up my Huawei for the first time, I saw the "TIM" (a telephone operator in Italy, I don't know how you call it, but it's similar to T-Mobile, Verizon, Vodafone etc.) bootanimation.
I was afraid that my P10 Lite would be full of bloatwares, but it wasn't.
So, thanks to this, I have 10GB left, 12GB occupied by installed applications and games, and 10GB occupied by the system.
The only problem with the branded version of this smartphone is that I have a custom bootanimation, which is very slow and runs on a very low framerate, and I have to wait extra months when a new patch/version is released.
Also, I can't understand why the system occupies 10GB, it's too much for me.
So, since yesterday, I searched for solutions and found some answers.
The first one is rooting, but I don't like that. I often do some things on rooted devices which lead me to brick them.
Another solution I found is using "Firmware Finder". I opened it and he recognized my phone as a "WAS-LX1AC55B176" (WAS-LX1A / Build 176), which is the actual version installed on my device. So I tried to install the newest version (Build 187 not Full OTA) via Proxy (he failed) and via DNS. Using the DNS method, I waited 10 minutes and got the 300mb downloaded. The only problem is that it asked me to download more and more patches until I reached the Patch 11 with 3,68GB download, then I gave up.
Now I'm considering to try the WAS-LX1AC432B191 (European) version in Full OTA (I'm going to try the 300mb one, too) but I don't know if there are any differences between C55 and C432 (Yes, I know that one is branded and one is not, but I mean differences like Single or Dual SIM etc.).
At the moment, my phone is Single-SIM and it has 4/32GB of RAM/ROM.
-
So here are the problems:
- Do I lose all my data with a OTA update via Firmware Finder DNS?
- Do I brick my device if I do an OTA update via Firmware Finder DNS switching from C55 to C432?
- Does the C432 version work only with Dual-SIM or 3/32GB or 4/64GB devices?
- What C432 build190 do I have to download? There are 3 OTAs (103343, 103344, 103459) and 1 Full OTA (103460).
mister if you want debrand your device from c55 to c432, you need:
all files are in the forum
unlock bootloader(please copy code to safe place, and all data required).
download oeminfo c432 ss or ds and b182(ds) and b183(ss)
twrp
adb drivers(install in c
-----------------------------------------------------
download serviceRom and extract, insert a sdcard on your laptop and create a dload folder. Open the rom downloaded until dload, copy update.app + all was folders.
now with the device, poweroff and conect to laptop:
frp: enable oem unlock(go to about phone), press several times to developer settings, then go to developer settings and scrol until oem unlock and enable(yes or yes).
- fastboot: vol- + power

Thanks for replying, but I don't want to root my device, guess I have to wait until Oreo comes out. When it does, I'll root my device and take the risk to update it (for me, it's very risky, I'm not that good in rooting "new" devices.

yoshi with root user you can do things that with a normal user can't, such as uninstall system apps.
with twrp you can back/restore/wipe/flash etc.... obviously debrand or not, util oreo update but you need wait until huawei and your operator decide relase
twrp=huawei no good option ?????

You don't understand.
I don't want to loose my warranty only because I can't wait, so I'll root my device when the warranty will expire (so, in 2020).
