For flash tool initialization you can use any scatter file made for a similar pcb (attention - similar doesn't mean compatible), get here and download any firmware in order to make flash tool work - but better just get here and follow the steps in order to extract the firmware from your watch

My friend. I have Colmi T7 smartwatch it has mtk6260A chipset and ips screen...I download a firmware belongs to gt08 but i didn't readback before download.Then my watch has problems for example screen colors reversed...I tried different kinds of rom but all has the same problem instead Apro rom...I have been trying to find the any solution but I haven't yet...

Golem;
Thanks for the reply, but I am a real NOBE when it comes to Smartwatch flashing, been flashing android phones/tablets for years.
So, I have a apro q18 smartwatch. It looks like it could have some potential, but it's a PIA to work as is. I found the FlashTool (v5.1524.00) and tried to back it up, but it wants a Scatter-loading file and I have NO CLUE what that is or where to find one. the FlashTool won't let me back it up and I don't see any Scatter files in the links you provided.
UPDATE:
Is the Scatter file the .CFG file in the Firmware bundle? The Flashtool is looking for a .txt file....

I'm sorry for being a PiA, but without the Scatter File, the Flashtool does nothing. I've tried every file in the firmware you pointed to and the tool won't accept any of them. I just get an error saying "the Load Scatter file is invalid!". I'm using the FlashTool "Media Tek SP FlashTool v5.1524.00" in case that matters.
It may be way easier than flashing android IF you have all the files.... Pardon my frustration, but I've been efing with this for 5 hours so far.

There, where I've sent you, you'll find everything you need - use only flash tool I'm pointing there for download, use as well the link to the firmware which is containing the scatter you're looking for, follow steps which are simple like a snap

IPAQ 614c WM6.0 18125_EN(Official) ROM and ROM Kitchen

Warning: Although this ROM Code and ROM Kitchen has been tested on my IPAQ 614c (FA992AT#ABB). Don’t Flash unless you know what you are doing! This ROM Kitchen is for Personal use only. ROM Code and ROMs Created with this Kitchen should not be released on the forum.
First, Thanks a lot for help from Oldcat, Star, T2 Wuqiyu007 and Saxxon.
1. The ROM Code was dumped from the IPAQ 614c;
2. The language is English;
3. No any change has been done, so you can think the ROM is official;
4. You can flash the rom by SD_Loder mothed (describe following);
Flashing instruction:
1. The name of ROM code is flash.dio
2. Copy the flash.dio to your nomal Micro SD (Micro SDHC does not work), and put the file in root directory.
3. Power off.
4. Press and hold the Mute+Record heys same time, and then press and release the power key.
5. The SDLoder screen will display.
6. Don’t tuch the phone.
7. When the flashing finish, the phone will restart, doing clean boot. And the MS welcome screen will come.
You can download the ROM Code here, http://www.fs2you.com/files/9886b957-1d78-11dd-a1e1-0014221f4662/
You can download the ROM Kitchen here,http://www.fs2you.com/files/f7bf6b00-1d90-11dd-863a-0014221b798a/
great work!
now it is only a matter of time until the german rom will be released isn't it ?
james
Does this mean anything for us 6900 series owners? Could this be ported over to the Sable devices?
I don't think it does, and why I keep seeing threads concerning this device in forum topic is baffling to me, as it is a completely different model of phone! the 614c was created AFTER the sable, for goodness sakes it already had WM6 on it
I'm not exactly sure how to cook roms or even how it is done but I am thinking there may be something we could use from this rom. I wish there was someone around that had much more knowledge about this stuff. Where could I go to learn about this? Is there a different way to cook roms depending on the model of phone or is it basicially the same idea for all phones? I used to screw around with my old motorola phones alot and would definitely be interested in learning about this just to get a mobile 6 rom out for this phone.
As I know it will be worked on 6900 series,but it's up to the developers choice....See,O2 Xda Exec it never ever have the offical WM6 ROM and up,but now the WM6.1 ROM be released so much by the developers,yeah,that's great job..
So we will see & god bless!

Yes please upload somewhere, link to download the ROM code is gone. Furthermore, this site needs to install program in order to download, please upload somewhere like zshare, but hopefully not RS.
Thanks to u.
I'd be interested to give this a try too. Like Saxxon, I have a pre-release version and somewhere along the line an attempt to update it has left me with a device that pretty much works but it does not sync or charge. I'm sure it's a firmware issue but none of the ROM updates I've tried have helped so far. Anyone with any pointers as to which of the rom components are likely to be the cause?
FYI, my 600 has the following component versions:

Forgot to add that at boot time, I get:
OS-v1.00.01
FW-v0.77
its the radio/QC firmware,
if you have the latest bootloader (which it looks to be the case) you can update the QC fw with the book key combination : lower left key on the side and lower right key on the side ... then turn on ... it will say "sd loader modem"
. then it look on the sd card for the new QC firmware file. actually i have not tried it. but if you get the official amss.mbn file from somewhere you would be able to upgrade.
let me know if it works for you.
saxxon
Thanks for the speedy response.
So I need an appropriate amss.mbn file to drop onto the SD then?
Is there a way of extracting this from another device or is there another source I could look at?
Hi n1gel,
do you have this ROM available? I would love to have it, it's the original ROM for 612c right?
Unlike HTC/O2 or any other manufacturer, they made available of all ROMs from their website. Does HP has the same? Would like to download the original ROM for back up.
Would appreciate if you could help upload and we could share it. Thank you so much.
Any idea how long the AMSS.mbn file should take to flash?
I've tracked one down and placed it on the SD and (with a fully charged battery!) gone into SDLoader mode. It's detected AMSS.mbn and started 'Writing' but I don't know how long it should take or what 'success' might look like!
Any clues?

First of all, if your watch is working fine, don't install the new ROM unless you have a backup copy of the current ROM. My ROM might not be 100% compatible with your device and in this case you can reinstall the original firmware using the same steps listed below.
1. Download the attached SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1428.00.zip and extract it
2. Download splitted ROM zip file from my previous post and extract it in a new folder.
3. Go to the SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1428.00 folder and run Flash_tool.exe.
4. Click on ok if it says something about something not found, click on Scatter/Config file and select cat.cfg from the folder where you have extracted the Splitted ROM
5. Make sure to turn off the smartwatch, Click on "Download" in the program window and plug in the usb cable to the watch.
The operation should take about 2 minutes or less to complete, then a green circle will show up on the program and you can unplug the watch and start it up.
If everything is ok, the watch will boot up.
I hope this will help!

Ola, Alguém tem a rom para o smartwatch Lg128? Tenho o meu relogio bloqueado.
Obrigado.
Is this ROM for the original U8? I have the original one for sure and I wanna update the firmware. (to make it look more stylish) anyone know where I can find the original U8 smartwatch custom ROMs?

DZ09 / GV08 / ALUS compatible .VXP apps, rom tools, Mediatek MRE SDK, etc.

Found some stuff for developing/modifying Nucleus OS based mt6260 / mt6260a Smartwatches and thought I should share them with u guyz...

serial writer number (for lost imei), ReadBack extractor, and MAUI META... (not sure what it is, but might be useful...)

Ok, so I've googled a lot, and I DID find some Info about these smartwatches...
They all have the same processor, the mt6260, and they are running Nucleus OS...
(SDK not free :crying You can install apps in mre's .vxp format but even though there are tons of .vxp apps, most of them are incompatible because of the resolution... (most of them are in 240x320 res or higher, and our smartwatches use 240x240)
Because of the small number of compatible apps, (curently only Facebook, Pdf reader, word reader, and power point reader work for me...) I decided to make my own apps... (will make)
You can create your own .vxp apps with the tools I gave you... U will need MRE SDK, ADS 1.2, and Microsoft Visual 2008... Good luck!
Anyway, sorry for the long post, and enjoy the content.. :laugh::good:

Hi eliseizla,
I cannot install any .vxp apps in your shared folder in my DZ09 watch What's wrong with my DZ09 ?
It could be many reasons... Mostly it could be your firmware version... try flashing the firmware i've uploaded... It's the best stable firmware, which doesn't have camera error, and works with the apps I've posted... If this doesn't work, then probably your smartwatch is fake... That's my opinion... I have the same firmware, the one that I've uploaded... It also has modified watchfaces, (black watchfaces, not blue or grey...). But anyway... what's the error that doesn't let you install? Is it simply not recognizing the file? or is it displaying ,,Application failed to start" message?

Yeah, I thought so... mine didn't work either... there seems to be something wrong with the mre version of the watch, I think... or probably the nonstandard resolution, maybe? Probably not, since it runs most of 176x210 apps (or smthg like that)... I've googled every bit of it, and yandexed it, and baidu'd it, still couldn't find anything about mre 3.1 version... Anyway, keep up the good work... you might figure out someday, who knows? I mean, I've tried, I am no programmer (yet), but I'm not giving up yet... right now, I am testing a lot of apps from wapka.mobi, to see wich ones work, and wich ones don't... I'll keep u posted with apps and info... Have a nice day!

Yeah, I thought so... mine didn't work either... there seems to be something wrong with the mre version of the watch, I think... or probably the nonstandard resolution, maybe? HELP! Need firmware for MT6260MA A1 smartwatch

Hi everyone,
I'm searching firmware for my smartwatch (I think it is A1) with chip MT6260MA. I formatted the NOR flash space and flashed wrong firmware. So now I bricked two of these A1 watches without backing up the old firmware listed below.
I've got this smartwatch here:
https://joom.app.link/EJ4Dv9KxbS
[VERSION] MX6M-COB-A1-9307BOE-QCY-GL6133-SGW-V03.91-20180920
[BRANCH] BUILD: BUILD_NO
SERIAL#:
[BUILD TIME] 2018/09/20 10:09
[MRE VERSION] 3100
HAL_VERNO:
And here are some informations about the watch by FlashTool v5.1308.00.00:
=============== Memory Detection Report ===============
Internal RAM:
Size = 0x0000D000 (52KB)
External RAM:
Type = SRAM
Size = 0x00400000 (4MB/32Mb)
NOR Flash:
Device ID = "[WINBOND] W25Q32BV" (226)
Size = 0x00300000 (3MB/24Mb)
Please help me. I have to unbrick two A1 watches. Can anyone make a backup of his firmware and uses the same as mine?
Thank you very much!
I have the same smartwatch as yours, I have the copy of the rom, but I can not extract from the always error "binary and invalid file" I got only one rom after a long time, but the touch does not work

Has anyone a alternative working firmware for mt6260ma? Or can make a backup/readback file of his watch?
Thanks!

I'm a complete newbee. I've bought a DZ09 clone smartwatch. I don't like the stock firmware. Internet not working. No way to make internet settings. Virtual on-screen keyboard too small. In rest everything is working. I've decided to flash a new firmware, but first i knew I had to create a Readback ROM Dump or ROM Backup for it just in case I flash it with a non-functional firmware and need to revert back to old self. I took it apart to see the IC inside. It has a MEDIATEK ARM MT6260MA chip, a RDA 6625 Quad-Band GSM Wireless Communication chip and a BF6871A1 1.44 inch Touch Screen Digitizer chip. On the board there is a label "MX9-MB-V6.2". Downloading the drivers for the smartwatch and the flashtool was child-play. The hard part was to find a working scatter/config file for the read back to work (within the flash tool software). The smartwatch doesn't respond to usual *#8375# to show up the firmware version. Probably because it's a cheap clone? However there's another obscure code *#3721# which does it. It says: [VERSION]: Q9_60M_240_DZ09_GC6133_CUST_9_9307_1016 [BRANCH]: 11BW1308MP_141108 U8. Then by dialing another non-standard obscure code *#0101# says in a menu it's MRE [VERSION]:3100 [BUILD TIME]: 2018/10/16 and other stuff. Digging deep I've managed to found a working scatter/config file within the ROM file I've downloaded from here https: / / w w w .needrom.com/download/smartwatch-x6-pcb-mx9-mb-v3-5/#. It's a ROM version Q9 61D SWD EU RHF NEW SIX 6123 V3 5 20170214 for a Smartwatch X6 PCB “MX9-MB-V3.5″. I've successfully created the ROM file and then using the Readback Extractor mtk 2.4.exe I've rebuilt the original firmware. I haven't had the chance to test it and hopefully I won't have to. Maybe my stock firmware for MT6260MA might be useful for someone out there: https: / / drive.google.com/file/d/1X5ZeQeR_a9c25Omi3xd4ZYgJhx0vKi1q/view?usp=sharing

Problems with Mt6260MA and 3072 KiloByte ROM
I also need ROM for MT6260MA.
I have a GT08-Clone with MT6260MA and only 3072 KiloByte ROM. I made a mistake by Read Back, the Length has to be set to 0x00300000, i failed to make a Backup Next Problem is, that the Readback Extraktor is not able to read a ROM with just 3072 KiloByte. Anyway, someone managed, because there is an extracted MT6260MA-ROM with that Size on needrom (ROM DZ09 – mt6260ma). With that ROM I get the Switch-On-Melody, but the Screen is only white..
My original Firmware was x9mb_1.1_cst716a_mjw_gt08_xrm7789_lx9307_xf3029_6153_6133_j_a_v1.0.4 build somewhen end of 2019.
But it had no Browser, so i tried to change it.
Hopefully someone has a Solution..

Thanks WiZoOo,
i have tried that rom, but the same as the rom from needrom. only difference: black screen with backlight, instead of white screen with backlight
i saw that thread on 4pda, but don't know russian language and >400 pages, so i didn't check it. maybe i should try, to see, if there are more roms, i can move to my watch.
anyway i am not shure, if i can find a rom with browser, because of the limited memory. without, the watch is quite useless for me..
help..
i think, i found the right rom on 4pda!
2 days ago someone posted on 4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=658007&st=6680 these two roms for gt08:
Прикрепленный файлпрошивка.rar ( 2,56 МБ )
Прикрепленный файлbackup_MT6260MA_32_24.rar ( 2,61 МБ )
but when i click it, i get 404-error. i think, only because i am not locked in.. but i can not register, because i don't know russian language and can't pass the anti-robot-check
please, anyone can help me, by getting these roms, or maybe send me login-data for 4pda?

yes, sorry for answer too late, it's hard to edit the rom file, i don't find anything about to change clock and even the icons and i'm not sure if you could find the right software to edit and mod the ROM file...
well, it was a cheap watch (< 10 €). I just let it lay arround and wait for the right rom to turn up. i did the same with amazon fire hd8 2018, after i lost temp root by auto-update to 6.3.1.2 last autumn (i'm shure i deaktivated upate-process before). and a little while ago, a clever guy managed to flash bootloader and shared instruction. so its working now with lineage os 15 very well. time sometimes solve all problems
