Android Police reporting that Marshmallow is rolling out now. Anyone get it yet? Still using my OG Turbo and do not have mine handy.

Nope not yet but hopeful!

nothing yet, but trying to stay charged and hitting that update button fairly often
Nothing here yet.
Nope. I tried all the tricks I know of:
Reboot
Stop and clear all data from Google Services Framework
Dial *#*#checkin#*#*
Verizon pulled it as of 12:30 PST
Yep, looks like someone got twitchy at VZW and hit the update page button too soon.
Hopefully this means that the real release is very close.
I'm wondering, is it going to be 6.0 or newer version.

They're talking about MM for Turbo 2. We all know that Moto X Force got MM last year and that is 6.0
Getting Marshmallow 6.0 now on Turbo 2.
I'll hold out for Lollipop root even after it rolls out. I've made the mistake of updating right away before, never again.
There's a big thread open on the topic - http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo-2/general/marshmallow-1-2-t3268958

Now it’s important to note that while the update is for both the global and US GSM variants of the Moto G, the rollout is more than likely to occur in various stages. In other words, it could take some time before it reaches all Moto G owners.

Patience, guys. The rollout is happening in phases, and for now only 1% of two specific sales channels get the update. They are the guinea pigs, so to speak. Once everything is fine, the update will be approved for more users.

That article is talking about the Google OTA process, there's no way of telling if motorola uses something similar. But posting "I haven't got the ota" doesn't help much either, I guess. So yes. Patience.

I need flash to work with firefox so will not be applying this update when it arrives.
If Dolphin browser had the ability to block apps then I wouldn't have a problem updating to 4.4.2 as I know you can get flash to work with Dolphin, so it's 4.3 for me.

did the same.
There is no way they are updating the Droids to Lollipop before last year's Moto X or the Turbo.
If I were a betting man, I'd bet it is some sort of minor bug fix update for VoLTE or something. Maybe an update to add full Moto Voice stuff?
Maybe they can make the phone not sound like crap/cut out on 50% or more of calls?

This suggests the update could be 5.0.1. It also might be a pre-release in order to get the device ready. Guess we will find out soon enough.

No, everyone should have received the update.
Moto Actions was updated in the play store 3 days ago.
I'm still on 5.0.
Those on the 5.1 leak would have not received an update to Moto Actions through the play store. The version on the play store is 1.9.10. The version in 5.1 is 1.11.2. The version in 5.1 is a newer version that the one on the play store.

I just updated the Moto Actions from play store and the Attentive display is working!! Nice
It's much more accurate now at detecting when I'm looking at the screen, somehow this update also resulted in priority interruptions working again.
upload to mega the apks of Moto Actions & Attentive Display please!
Anybody else got prompted with this update yet? Can't find any release notes at this time.

I checked for it earlier when I heard about it and installed it. September security update but not sure anything else with it.
I got the notice but have not installed it yet.
I installed it earlier after seeing many on another site that did so. it's a little bit over 100 megabytes so it's probably not much more that the actual security update.
September Security Update haven't seen anything else yet.
This is a really good sign that Lenovo is dedicated to keeping us up to date. I smell Nougat soon!

I've heard that Motorola planned to release it in the Fall, and now it's Winter. I've also heard that the update was ready and they were waiting for Verizon to push it out. Does anyone know what's going on? The Moto Z2 Force already got Oreo, so I can't imagine a reason that the original doesn't have it yet.
X4, Z, Z play, Z2 force and Z2 play have oreo/soak tests availble.
The remaining are the original Z force (probably comong before the month ends) and the rest of the G5 family.

Great news
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Yes, great news, but I'm still disappointed in Motorola and/or Verizon. When I bought this phone, it was the Moto flagship. I figured that would mean priority in getting updates. Instead, another "flagship" came out and the Z Force was pushed down to the bottom of the barrel.
I'm also interested to see what kind of crapware Verizon will bake into this release. One of the security updates last year was an opportunity for Verizon to push an app called AppFlash. It wreaked havoc on battery life and was widely reviled. Of course, it could not be uninstalled, merely disabled. A subsequent security update removed the app. I suppose there were a lot of upset customers!
So... Did someone received the oreo update??. I have a verizon moto z force droid but it says already updated at last system (7.1.1???)

I've never heard of anyone suggesting a fall 2017 release, but I do believe that there have been at least one round of MFN soaks on the Z Force in different regions. They just posted the confirmation about a week ago that the Z Force will be getting Oero, so I would expect this to happen within the next 30 to 60 days.
