Activate dual sim on B181 firmware - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I have a p8 lite single sim B181. I want to flash to B170 dual sim. Can anyone tell me the steps? ADB flashing or SD flash is OK.
I already flashed another p8 from B133 to B170 with several steps. Is this possible heute too? Direct flashing would be much easier.
Thanks for help.

Will u plz help me to go Dual sim version from B133??

Same AS going from B181. B041c than b052 and ota 170. b041c with ADB flash. B052 SD flash

show this thread and go from step 1 to step 4 update 188 and you have dual sim firmware.

Fix Balong, Downgrade from 6.0 and switch to DUAL SIM

Model Number : ALE-L21
Build number : BalongC52B311
Emui version : 4.0
Android version : 6.0
Nothing seems to work, I can't two-step downgrade, installing stuck at 5%. Some custom ROMs for fixing Balong also stuck at 5% and I can't even switch to DUAL SIM, software failed.
Can anyone help me?
Best regards
Flash B052 via Fastboot and install a vendor Update package for EU version
I have the same issue. I have looked here : http://consumer.huawei.com/at/mobile-phones/support/downloads/p8lite-at.htm but cannot find the B052. Do I need to flash the "Huawei_P8 Lite Dual SIM_Rollback package" ? And which .img do I need to flash? Do I need an unlocked bootloader and also root?
Thanks!!!

I resolved my problem thanks to this http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/guide-debranding-converting-single-sim-t3305977. You need to open the bootloader first, but DON'T ROOT. Just open the bootloader. It's preferable to downgrade first (because you can lose your IMEI if you downgrade from 6.0 suddenly too much in one change). Here is the link for downgrading http://huaweifirmware.com/huawei-p8-lite or this http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/rollback-official-android-6-0-beta-6-0-t3358565. Then you just follow the guide of the first link. Download C432B132, extract it, fastboot. Then you fix the balong bug. Now you have DUAL SIM without Balong. Then it's just about what Android version you want. You can stay on that firmware, OTA to newer a finally flash to Android 6.0. (If normal flash is not working, failed software update like it was with me, stuck at 5%, then use that fastboot with bootloader, I successfully installed new firmware with that method everytime)
Thanks. I will look at the second link you provided. First wait for the unlock code for the bootloader.

just got p9 lite yesturday from o2 (UK) but second sim doesn't work

P9 lite model i have is VNS-L31 (3gb ram)
is the sim tray can take 2 nano sims, but there is no sim data management software on the phone.
the sim tray can either take 2 nano sims, or 1 nano sim and 1 sd card.
it only picks up the nano sim in slot #1
is this a hardware or software issue?
Hello!
You have to enable the second SIM...
Procedure is: Unlock Bootloader - Flash TWRP - Root - Enable Dual SIM - Flash stock firmware version C432B130.
After that make OTA Update, you lose Root and TWRP, Bootloader is locked back, but Dual SIM remain enable.
For entire procedure, lock around on the forum...
got the bootloader unlocked, but can't flash twrp, the toolkit won't find the phone. ??
it will find it if is in ADB mode... and if you have drivers installed on PC (HiSuite app)...

You must use PC no other way
Unfortunately, you will need an unlocked bootloader :/
Bought a PC for 10 bucks, 1.8 dual core intel atom, 2gb ram etc etc... What are the steps now that I have a PC
You can use this toolkit, just follow the steps to enable dual SIM and it will install stock c432 firmware.

Dload failure

Hey guys, after i unbrick my phone with one of the pe lite's version available in the web, it's written in the case of version 'NRD90M test-key', for fix this problem I decide the flash the oeminfo, but unfortunately that just get worse, undetected sim card, inability to unistall and even the inability to access the developer settings to unlock oem, I've tried to dload the same version as the oeminfo, but in vain, dload fail.
So the question is, why the dload failed and how to fix the problem, maybe I have an old sd card (class 4)? (I've a p9 lite l21)
Thank you in advance guys !!!
Up
Did you flash the correct oeminfo? It might the problem, check it
I didn't flash the correct oeminfo of the original version of my phone but I tried to flash a l21 oeminfo and update my phone to the same version. I didn't see a problem with that because it's the same hardware.
Try the official rollback package

Follow this process for success:
- downgrade to Nougat using HiSuite
- get huawei bootloader unlock code (try hcu-client or dc-unlocker)
- after unlocking bootloader, flash TWRP via Minimal ADB and fastboot
- flash oeminfo.zip file via TWRP (PRA-LX1C432 dual SIM), go back to the main TWRP menu and flash HuRupdater.zip with Nougat Stock Rom , or flash Service ROM from dload folder using three button combo.
You can also convert your phone to dual SIM using HWOTA_PRA Tool or Huawei Multi-tool, it depends on your skills .

Click on "System Update". If you have pending system updates, a red dot will be displayed on this option, as HiSuite is also used to update to newer versions. If you are using the latest version and want to downgrade, click on "Switch to other version".
Make sure to backup all your personnal data, the rollback will erase all your data.
Click on “Restore”, then confirm. HiSuite will start downloading the previous EMUI version.
