Have you tried turning on control focus and exposure on to see if it focuses? Have you tried different camera apps?

For some reason I dont have that option.

Well I got that option now. I uninstalled latest update went back to stock factory version.
Also by doing this focus works.much better.
I updated it after uninstall. No luck. Uninstalled again.

On this I do not have that button on the right bottom corner.

Heya. While I installed that camera apk. The twist to activate camera does not work.
Under moto app, if I enable it, it disables by itself.
Under the camera app I have it set to on to twist to activate.
Also there is something funky happening.
Upclose without flash is fine
No flash but still imho looks like sh!t.
Now with flash, while it takes the picture and before flash activates focus is messed up.
Resubmitted pictures to double check.
Still the same.
Also I took one of those lint free cloths that are used on camera lenses, well nothing improved.
Go to settings, apps and clear out the defaults for the camera apps installed, do the double twist motion and it should ask which camera app you want it to open with, mine works fine. At this point it sounds like might be a hardware defect. I would try flashing the return to stock tool (lollipop, you'll need to manually flash the modem file for radios to work, entire phone will be erased) and see if issue is still there.

For the apps clear defaults. There are only disable for enabled apps and force stop.
There is no clear defaults.

Scroll down, should be on that same page. We are on diff roms but here is what mine looks like.

Guess what I found.
Moto check box module for xposed there is an option called camera developer options.
I enabled that and reboot. Stock moto camera.

Nope open camera and Google camera was tested as well.
Like the shutter and focus is not synced with flash and images come out yellow if flash is used.
Atm I'm to lazy to convert to stock rom.

Is there a working xposed module for customising sense that works? I tried Sense 6 toolbox and Xtended settings, but it can't detect the Xposed framework. The only modules working are on the screenshots.

Sense 6 technically works, but you can't access the settings because it displays a big "not compatible" message. Still, if you had it before and the settings are still there it will continue to use those settings. Thats my experience with it so far.

I imagine the apk modules will need to be rewritten, that i can wait.

I tried installing xposed on viper 4.0 but my music lags when the screen is lock. Anyway, I am not surprised since its in alpha stage. Happy to see xposed making its way to android L.

Anyone with an M8 experiencing Motion Launch not working after flashing Xposed Alpha? This is the double tap to wake feature. I'm just wondering if it's something I did separately to cause it not to work or a side effect of flashing this alpha version of Xposed.
Not working for me. One M8 GPE TWRP 2.8.5.0. Hangs on the boot animation. Required a reflash to restore my device.

Motion Launch is working perfectly on my M8 with stock rooted Sense 5.0.1 and the new Xposed alpha. Double tap to wake, swipe to unlock both working fine.

Your not the only one. Motion Launch stopped working on my m8 with the GPe rom and Xposed. Maybe it has something to do with the modules installed?

A full reboot cleared it up, but it did show again once more after that... Another reboot fixed it again, followed immediately by a soft reboot of course. Hopefully the same works for you, I know I need my double tap to wake.
Any one know why after installing Xposed framework this features won't work anymore?
Already changed it in settings but nothing.

Chop chop has never worked for me tbh, but double twist works fine for me. Have used RR before and currently I am on TURBO. Double Twist has never been a problem for me.
Using Xposed v83 btw

Installed RR too m8, then Squid Kernel and both features working OK, but after install Xposed and really some apps and frameworks this stops working, well I don't know if installing apps can break this, so I thought that was Xposed..
Hey everyone! I'm not sure if this should go in general or here, so if it's in the wrong place, please feel free to move it, Mr. Mods. So there's a pretty common bug that effects people who use the stock OpenGapps package (the one that deletes AOSP dialer and replaces it with the Google Dialer), where the phone will reboot upon making or receiving a call over cellular network. Turns out, this is due to the absence of the AOSP dialer on the system! I managed to fix it by manually adding the AOSP dialer to /system/priv-app and changing permissions via Root Explorer, then rebooting. Got sick of doing it manually, so I made a flashable zip for ya'll! I flashed it as a test and it seems like it works but I haven't done it after an update yet. I'm posting it here in hopes of it helping all ya'll

For Open GApps users (and others using Google Dialer), all you need to do is set Google Dialer as the default phone app. It even says that in the TWRP log when it's flashing. You only need to set it as default once, and that's it.

It should've. Odd. For RR and CM it's Settings -> Apps -> gear icon -> Default apps -> Phone app -> Phone (should be the only option)
I'll try it again when I install tonight's Mokee update, and report back. If it works then great! I'd really prefer only having one dialer app anyway hahaha

I was rooted, had xposed installed and realized that the fingerprint scanner is much slower and not as responsive as when i am on stock B27 or just stock and rooted.
Stock = less than a second to unlock
Stock + root = less than a second to unlock
Stock + root + xposed (without modules yet) = more than a second to unlock and device performance seems to take a hit. UI lags very often.
I have tried this on a clean setup as well same issue. anyone else with xposed having similar or better experience?

I had the same issue on b20, but couldn't figure out what was causing it. Do you have gravitybox? Maybe some part of it is affecting how quickly the phone wakes up?

I had modules before (xprivacy, xposed additions and Audio Stream Music Default). But on the clean install I had just xposed and still the same issue.
Looks to me that there might be some interfering between Mifavor UI and xposed.
They should really consider going stock when they release Nougat. Less hassle for them to maintain and easier for us to deal with.

Just wanted to update this. I install Rovo's newest framework (3.1) and slow fingerprint issues are gone! Not sure what changed, but even with gravitybox, the scanner is lightning fast.

I think I might have figured the root cause of the issue. I installed my modules one by one and realized that uninstalling xprivacy module fixed the issue. It's unfortunate since it was one of my favourite modules
my modules for whoever is interested:
-Audio Stream Music Default - pressing volume keys anytime changes media volume instead of ringtone volume
-xposed additions - cutomize volume keys with multiple taps, long presses for multiple use on lockscreen, screen on/off (i use it for long press volume up or down to switch tracks)
-xprivacy - to control what permissions apps use (but doesnt seem to work with MiFavor so i disabled it)
I had this problem while I was on b20, it went back to normal after I went and updated to b27 via @DrakenFX 's method.. When I came back up with b27, root, xposed, bl unlock, haven't had the slow fingerprint problem If it helps anyone else..

Other modules are ok.

are you in latest Xposed and Gravitybox for MM?
enable the gravity Box and do a complete reboot.. for safer side click give permission to Storage before opening the app. that's all i tried and it works no issues.

App info> permission for gravity box... By default it should ask when you open gravity box

Currently it's not activated.
But 2 days ago, when I installed it firstly, after reboot I couldn't use the phone: it couldn't even get to the pin screen. It was continously doing a screen on and off.
I had to uninstall gravitybox via adb from my pc.
But it has to work (it says you have to activate it) even if it's not activated. At least, on my other device (Moto x style) it does.
Has anyone tried to make AR stickers work with GCam 5 on a OP5? OP3/3T appears to work.

Got it working! Just followed OP3 instructions.
ROM - Leaked Open Beta 4 (Use Magisk Beta & Bluespark TWRP to root your OP5 device)
Camera - GCam5.1.018-Arnova8G2-V1.2
I Have tried this guide for OnePlus 3T on my OP 5 and its working absolutely fine for me.
1. rooted and my device
3. flashed Oreo open beta OTA
4. installed modded ARCore, ARStickers app
5. added calibration xml file in /system/etc
6. added ro.config.calibration_cad=/system/etc/calibration_cad.xml with BuildProp Editor
7. Installed modified Google camera apk GCam5_5.1.018
voila!

and just installed the apps. By the way you don't need an extra app to start the activity as stated in the XDA article, it will show up in the GCam or you can make a link to the activity in every decent launcher (Nova...)
Has anyone been able to get the ar stickers sounds to appear in video? If I drop an ar sticker and then press video record, I can hear sounds from the ar sticker, but when I playback the video, I only hear sound from the normal environment.
