Problems with the new rom Cm 12.1 - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I moved to official Cm 12.1 snapshot snapshot some weeks ago. The rom is very good but I have 2 main impotrant problems. First, the camera is very bad( with stock and cloudy I got a lot better results) How can I change the image processing software? In addition, the loudspeakers are very silent... Is there anyway to fix it? Thanks!!

[Q] Terrible In Call Quality [CyanogenMod]

Hi! I recently have installed the following ROMS on my i9500:
CyanogenMod 10.1
CyanogenMod 10.2
CyanogenMod 11
All three of these roms are giving me terrible in call voice quality. I would go back to stock 4.3 but my back up did not work. I tried clearing the cache/wiping dalvik/factory reset.
Is this a common problem/glitch that most people are known to have occur with CyanogenMod roms? If so, can I fix it because I LOVE the rom. It's very smooth. If I cannot fix it, what daily rom/driver do you recommend as an alternative?
Please help, I really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

[Q] Most stable rom for S4 SHV-300S

Hi,
I've flashed a few custom ROMs for my SHV-300S, like Euphoria 5.1.1, CM 11, CM12.1, Omni 5.1.1, PA4.6, AOSP 4.4.4, and have the following result:
- KK doesnt work: CM11, PA 4.6, AOSP. Always get bootloop after multiple reflash of ROM different Gapps.
- LP: CM12.1, Omni, Euphoria works, but all had no IMEI, didnt recognize SIM, no audio at all, camera crash after each and every one shot, video is very slow and very laggy and has wrong color as well.
So I am looking for a more stable ROM that would allow call, internet, music, video, and camera. I can live fine without colorful UI or exotic tools.
Any suggestion?

Cm 12 vs cm 12.1 ?

Hello, i tested CM 12.1 and I liked it, excepted few bugs with Google Maps (but I think it's a problem with Android 5.1.1 because also Nexus got this problem) and Wifi (it get disabled after few minutes). I noticed the 2nd problem there isn't in Lollipop 5.0.2 and Icm curious to know if the Google maps problem got fixed too, but now I'm using RR LP 5.5.9 and it's amazing. Is it worth to install CM 12? Which is better? What changes? Thanks!

[Q] COS12.1 vs. CM13

Hello everybody,
I'm new to Zuk Z1 and I'm pretty happy with my latest Cyanogen OS 12.1 official build, waiting for Cyanogen OS 13 release, sooner or later.
I love modding too, and I'd like to try Mr.Coldbird CM13 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/orig-development/unofficial-cm13-t3277885), because it looks better than official CM13 builds and also a lot more customizable than COS.
If anyone have tried them both, can you please post your impressions and also the main differences between the two firmwares?
Thanks in advice!
Both cm 13 rom 's look the same and look even the same than COS 12.1. cm13 is still beta and it is impossible to switch a single sim card off for the moment. You can do that in COS 12.1. As for the customization the roms are the same too. Only the rom 's built by @OrdenKrieger like temasek or RessurectionRom are more customized. If you really can't wait for the official launch you should try the official cm13 first as it does update your phone to be able to run other cm13 rom "s too without the need to flash a unknown custom made blobs zip.
Enjoy your Zuk Z1 with working Fingerprint on Cyanogen Software.

Thanks for your answer!
I mentioned Mr.Coldbird's CM13 because I read that it has working fingerprint and usb-otg, while official CM13 has not.
I'll take a look at the other ones you mentioned.
What I'd like for my Zuk is:
- Working fingerprint and unlock with soft touch (not press).
- Ambient Display (I came from a 2013 Moto X :sigh.
- "Ok Google" with screen off (see above :sigh.
- Something to ease one-hand usage (got very small hands).
- Better camera app than COS one.
- Better fingerprint integration (can only use it for phone unlock).

What (newly) ROM should I install, given my setup?

Hi
I have G2 d802, with this ROM: CloudyG2 2.2. This is Android 4.4.2 The kernel is 3.4.102. Build number KOT49I.
I have TWRP. I have root.
Anyway, what is the newest ROM I can install on this device? Is there something that is Android7? I need the ROM to be clean (bloatware-wise), and should be fast.
Is the baseband version something I should be worry about?
Please provide me with the exact steps I need to do in order to install the new ROM given my current setup (which I described above), I want to make a clean setup - so full wipe is Okay.
Maybe LineageOS 14.1? It says I should go back to stock lollipop. How to do that exactly?
Thanks!
Hi. I'm on LineageOS 14 (latest build of today). I am pretty sure that it is the most updated rom for G2.
I am not going back to Cloudy ROM simply because I don't have time to move files, do backups,.... but i will do it. Really, G2's behaviour with Cloudy is perfect: no bugs, perfect camera, perfect sound. With Android > 5 you will face some bad things: for example, you will loose official camera drivers (no OIS, worst quality), and you will experience crappy sound if you max out the volume, and other bugs can be always after the corner.
(Surely, LineageOS is very usable and stable, but at the price of what I said before). So:
my advice is to use Cloudy, unless it is very important to you to have latest security patches.
I had my g2 d802 on Cloudy 3.3 for a long time and it was and still is perfect.
