Hi, I have a x force from iusacel Mexico, and it came with 5.1 Android, I've tried flash all the MM firmwares but after that all came OK except by WiFi, lte works, sim works, all works but WiFi keeps off.
Does anybody have the solution? Or I have to keep 5.1 untill my carrier release MM?
Tnx

If you have unlocked your bootloader, you can't expect an OTA, so you have to flash manually any firmware. Your issue seems módem related, did you flash the módem when you flashed the firmware? You have to flash the following commands after the sparsechunk:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash bluetooth BTFM.bin
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
Then erase userdata and stuff.

I made it (OTA US Global) NO REPACK / OFFICIAL OTA
The bootloader is the problem (you need to flash the 4.3 boot loader)
Warining: (thx to @Entropy512)
Flashing bootloaders is a dangerous operation - it's one of the few ways you can hardbrick your device.
THIS IS TEMPORAL , you take the risk.
The steps:
Flash bootloader.img of android 4.3 (us global) / mfastboot.exe flash motoboot motoboot.img
4.3 bootloader -> http://www.mediafire.com/download/7i75m96r692rp78/bootloader-downgrade.zip
Flash the Custom Recovery / mfastboot.exe flash recovery recovery.img
Install superSU zip from the recovery
You can come back to 4.4 Bootloader / But you can't use the recovery
4.4 bootloader -> http://www.mediafire.com/download/wd4rhkqbo7797r0/bootloader4.4.zip
Minimal Adb : https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1S0LCuXCnnmSWh6NGJmSE1BUWc/edit

With the 4.3 boatloader, you can actually flash the recovery permanently instead of just booting from it. If you want. But yeah. I did this with the official 4.4 OTA and it worked perfectly. Thanks for doing a guide for others.

Do anyone have the 4.3 stock recovery or where do we get out from?
Sent from my XT1034 using Tapatalk
I tried but I'm getting a boot failed error in the bootloader screen
Enviado desde mi XT1032 mediante Tapatalk
Thanks this method works great got cwm and root on official kitkat ota. I flashed the US motoboot.img, then flashed cwm recovery, and finally flashed su. All is working great for me!
Attached is the bootloader from 4.3 and mfastboot. You will want to flash the bootloader using mfastboot instead of just regular fastboot. You need to make sure you have ADB setup.
Just extract these files to the folder where ADB is located, then open a command prompt to that same folder and run this command:
mfastboot flash motoboot motoboot.img
Click to collapse
Then you can flash CWM recovery and it will work just fine for you. The first time you reboot from CWM, it will ask if you want to disable the stock recovery flash. Make sure you chose "yes".

You can just flash the 4.4 bootloader after. Unless we find some major issues running kitkat with the older bootloader then it's probably best to stay with the older one as you cannot use any custom recovery with the newer bootloader.
Here are the bootloaders:
4.3 http://www.mediafire.com/download/7i75m96r692rp78/bootloader-downgrade.zip
4.4 http://www.mediafire.com/download/wd4rhkqbo7797r0/bootloader4.4.zip
Both zips contain the moto fastboot which you need to use to flash them to your device.

Can this be used for United Kingdom Moto G too?

Which version of supersu? I use 2.68beta with no problems
i manage it now everything works. MM and root
i have to do everything step by step. this was the solution
How did you solve it?
I tried installing the zip with twrp (3.0.0-2) and it ends up stuck in the bootloader unlocked warning.
2.65, 2.67 and 2.68 tested. Reflash works fine as I use it to recover the phone.

Is there a way to make a manual upgrade from 5.0.2 to 6.0.x? OTA doesn't work!?
I did it like in the first post. It worked for me. The only thing i switched was
mfastboot erase userdata
No problems so far
And it took you all the data and apps?
Yes. i dont have to install any app again
you should do a backup before you try to flash up to 6.0 .

I downloaded the 6.0.1 official firmware and as expected, I have no cell service with Verizon. I tried flashing the modem with band 12 a few times and it did not work. I also no longer have a backup on me anymore. Is there an official modem download for XT1575 that I could try?

There is no 6.0.1 for the XT1575, 6.0.0 May security update is current release... MPHS24.49-18-4 is the current build with M8992_1255331.29.01.88.02R SUPER_NA baseband is the current modem.
FYI... Verizon does not support Band 12 LTE, they use 2, 4, and 13.
If you are referring to the one on Moto's website erroneously marked as 6.0.1, it's an error and actually the initial release of 6.0 for the X.
Sent from my Motorola XT1575 using XDA Labs
You can pull the modem from any 6.0 firmware download.
Also make sure you are on franken kernel.
MPHS24.49-18-4 modem w/ custom roms
I am running the latest DU 10.6 on XT1575 and for kicks I tried to flash the modem files contained with MPHS24.49-18-4 to make sure I was on the latest...
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
Result is no service in DU 10.6. This should work correct? I restored my EFS partition from a working backup so no harm but was just curious...

You are pretty much correct, although I think the BT firmware is part of it as well... in my collection of stuff I show:
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
fastboot flash bluetooth BTFM.bin
As the proper way to flash modem... I also have a note that says to verify OK on each step and repeat the step if it fails for any reason.
