I have a big problem, after flash a .zip (quickwindow g3 port to g2) and reboot the g2 entered to a bootloop, I can't enter to twrp recovery with the volume keys method and I tryed to flash kk again with the flashtool and kdz rom but the phone don't pass of the first download mode screen (do not unplug the usb cable), I mean don't appear the com port ant the progress bar advancing and neither flashtool continue the flashing, help please :c

You can't take an OTA w/ a third party recovery like TWRP or PhilZ CWM Touch installed. If you can't flash the *.kdz or *.tot file from download mode, then you'll need to revert to this method...

If you can get into recovery, then you can just flash another ROM or restore a nandroid. If you don't have a ROM on the internal SD, then you can use ADB to push a ROM to the SD while in recovery.
i can enter TWRP, and i can enter factory reset. then what should i do?i dont have a rom in my internal storage

Hi, I just bought an LG G2 D802 20B Model a couple days ago, yesterday I wanted to downgrade to 4.2.2 and I ended up bricking the phone.
The phone is non rooted, doesn't have any custom recovery, and not recognized by adb even though i installed all the drivers ( koush drivers, PdaNet, Lg drivers ...)
At first I flashed with .kdz file and it ended in bootloop, I tried to factory reset but it doesnt have any effects with the stock recovery it only shows the green android bot and blue progress bar and then restart in 3 seconds and reboots to lg logo and start looping.. After a restart the download mode didn't work anymore it showed me fastboot error, I searched for the tutorial that actually worked and I flashed with .tot method but there is still bootloop and the download mode is stuck at the image attached. The phone is not recognized by neither windows or ubuntu therefore I can't use adb to fix the partitions.
Can any body provide me with a solution? The phone is still new and it will be a shame if its transformed to a brick in 3 days :crying:

Actually the picture attached is stuck and it doesnt change , and the pc can't recognize the phone so I cant flash it with another firmware

Thanks for your reply, however the phone is not recognized on windows neither on ubuntu therefore this tutorial can't help ...
I am in the exact same situation.
Mine is a D802 32GB Hong Kong model. I stupidly ran AutoRec which soft-bricked my phone. Managed to get Download Mode working, then flashed 20C and 20B which bootlooped. Then I attempted to flash 10B, which got me into this exact state:
Download Mode not working (only shows "Download Mode", does not go to firmware recovery screen, not detected in Win/Linux)
Factory reset (Power + Vol Down) can go to factory reset screen, after factory reset, still bootloop.
Once in a while, I also get the Android icon which then disappears after a few seconds and goes to LG logo again.
If I plug the phone in and do a factory reset, Windows detects the LGE AndroidNet modem, and Linux will detect cdc_acm USB Abstract Control Model driver. Flash Tool and LG Mobile Support seems to detect the phone and attempt to flash, but the phone restarts after a short while.
I have no idea what else to do
I forgot that my phone is rooted and I updated my LG G2 from jb to kitkat, and ended up bootloop

only stock recovery mode. I try clear cache and restore factory setting but still the same problem (LG LOGO show up then after 5sec it shut down and restart all over again) it can be detected if I pick from stock recovery update from ADB but it shows on my device manager that its ADB and not COMPORT so I cant Flash stock firmware with it

Hey guys please help me. I just unbricked my lg g2 and flashed kdz file and stuck into boot loop then i take the phone into bootloader but instead of that the weird thing appear as shown in attachement. Please guys help me i can't buy a new phone.

If u have download mode flash tot if it give file with this messages (fota partition was changed) that mean u have franken phone open back cover then search for your motherboard model then flash with it .if u do not have download mode Google this :lg g2 unbrickable now XDA, note:to enter bootleador there is tow mothed first press vol down plus power when see lg love release vol down then press it again ,the socend one press power plus vol down when see lg logo release tow bottom and press vol up plus volume down

Another note if your phone when u bay it was with d802 20b KitKat then your g2 is 99% not d802 and must to open cover and search for mm models do not afraid it is so close to impossible to kill lg g2

This happens to me when i flashed a wrong twrp recovery for lg g2 d801 and it was stuck in critical error i was also unable to access download mode ..
But my Good luck was that i recovered it by doing silly thing ?
So i do following things. But make sure u know the corrert version of your lg g2 to flash kdz file with lg flash tool and also must have lg drivers intalled.
Steps to perform.
1. While in critical error screen you have an option to press volume up button to boot into download mode( although it will not boot to download mode) but still press volume up button so your Pc can detect your phone.
2. Now flash a kdz file of your lg g2 with flash tool. ( you can google for it to download flash file for your lg g2 and how to flash it with lg flass tool.)
3. When you will try to flash it will fail..
4. Now power off your phone by pressing power button.
5. Now boot to download mode and flash the correct kdz with lg flash tool and u r good to go..
To acess download mode power off your phone immediately press volume up button and while keep pressing it and plug in usb cable and you will be in download mode

I have the same problem , but in critical mode if i press the volume up button my phone is not detected in pc
i don't know what to do now, i was on F302S stock rom, tried to flash CWM-Unofficial-SEMI-TOUCH-6.0.4.4(F320S)
and the recovery got installed and then i reboot to see demigod crash screen,
now :
these are the places i'm able to go
- recovery page
- demigod crash page
- press [vol up] + [pwr] + [vol down] then some unknown menu comes up

man thanks a lot, i thought i hard bricked my girlfriend's g2 but you solved it for me.!
i have rooted my lg G2 d802 and i used "auto rec" to install twrp recovery
when it rebooted i had my screen stuck in boot with white lines and i cant access to download mode or recovery
i tried kdz and tot method but nothing
in kdz method s w progress stops at 4% and it doesnt show any errors only it asks to repeat the process
in tot method when i click the yellow arrow it doesnt do anything even i unplug and replug the device
in device manager it shows " android bootloader interface "
so i reconfigured it to LGE SERIAL PORT so i can flash it with kdz or tot but nothing happened
so if any one knows a way to help me i will be glad
