It fell down on ground yesterday while on charging. The charging pin inside the phone is slightly bent downwards (instead of pointing straight out) as well the the micro-usb is bent downwards, the charging is taking too long since than..almost 3 hours and only 55% charged.
can i fix this problem at home please?

[Q] Charging the I9505

Hello there
I wanted to ask you people a question about charging the I9505.
I have the official white charger that comes with the device in its box and I have another chargers from other Samsung phones such as Galaxy S3 and some old charger which is one part the cable and the charger (not usb+charger like the charger of S4) of some old Samsung device which I don't have it anymore.
My question is can I charge the S4 with any Samsung charger or should I use only and ONLY the official charger which comes with the S4?
Thanks

Samsung galaxy s4 i9505 unlocked version motherboard dead

Hi all,
I have a samsung galaxy s4 (i9505 unlocked version) which was brought 1 year ago, but after 5 months had a water damage. It was recovered and one day, I used my laptop placed over it accidentally and found the phone dead probably because of the heat produced by the laptop (the laptop overheats often). The phone doesn't show any signs of overheat though. It still looks brand new except that it doesn't power on. I have shown the phone to many local technicians but they are telling that the motherboard is gone and the replacement will cost nearly that of a brand new phone. I do not know what to do with my dead phone. Any suggestions please?
Buy a new motherboard.

Original USB Cable with bad working

Hello guys, how are you?
Anyone had issues with the original USB cable? Before S7E I had S3 and had the same issue...I believed it was isolated but now after 4 months the same happen with the S7E...
After the S3 I went to iPhone 5s, stayed 2 years with it and the original cable was all ruined but worked excellent haha, right now I´m using one old Nokia cable that looks broken but works like new!
It is just with me that happens?? We have guarantee for the cable for how long? I´m thinking to go to Samsung Store (where I bought it) to complain because it´s not the first time it happens with me...
No problems here.

what kind of issues? I have a S7 edge and a S6. The S7 cable is fine, but the S6 cable (i think is identically) is with something that when i charge with powerbank or car charger, it goes really slow, like using the PC USB port to charge. But with the original fast charger works normally.
I'm gonna test it more and i'm thinking in take it to warranty change, but don't know if they gonna accept it because of this.
