So i rooted my sm-g30w galaxy grand prime with a apk app of kingroot. im not too versed in rooting but i do not bad. i had no idea the effect that knox had on rooting my phone. so now it keeps rebooting over and over again. i wiped that partrition cache, i wiped and reset the phone took out the battery and it still keeps rebooting. im currently trying an update and intialization through the kies 3 program. my phone says knox warranty 0x0 which i believe is a good thing. please help ugh im so discouraged.

Guys iv got a s4 i9505.. i had rooted this phone with cf autoroot using odin and then flashed twrp with odin and all was well after a few days i decided to flash the perseus kernel half way through the phone froze and after probably a good 20 minutes it rebooted but was totally reset like id just took it out the box.. now when i try to root odin says everythings all good but when the phone boots up there is no root flashed now a few times.. i keep geting a security notification saying an attempt to access the system was blocked i dont know however if this is just due to a 4.3 bug and unrelated or not as i only updated a few hiurs before rooting originally.. i know i had similar trouble rooting an s3 and it turned out to be ths phone reflashing itself after odin had flashed is this the case? I dont think so because i had root for a few days before flashing the kernel.. im stumped guys any help id be very grateful for

Help!
I recently installed a wireless pad into my Galaxy S4. All was working ok for a few days with the charging apart from the well known issue of the phone constantly beeping with the Wireless Charging Message.
Anyway I needed to root the phone to change the system file charging sound/ noise.
I used the Kingoapp root method, and since then the phone keeps randomly rebooting. It could happen at any time. I used the Kingoapp to unroot the device- but the rebooting still happens.
How can I stop the reboots? New kernel, new Rom? I don't seem to be running KNOX on the phone.
I would like to avoid completely reflashing the device because it will take a long time to get my data and apps and setup back onto the device.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

Hi mate ,
Once you root the phone you have to remove all knox from your phone , is a known issue
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2514703
Thanks for the response. Removing KNOX seems to have done the trick- it's been 2 days with no reboots.
I thought I'd be able to go back to exactly the same as pre-root. But I presume once you've rooted you trigger KNOX & you can't go back to exactly as you had the phone pre-root.
Anyway I presume a Android 5 build will be out soon for the GS4
I rooted my Galaxy Note3 Neo. It gets reboot infinite time. I can't get any screen. What to do?
How to remove KNOX or anything which let me use my phone again?

You're in the wrong thread, but anyways, try factory resetting through recovery, or flash your stock ROM and root using SuperSU.
Check the note 3 neo thread for more help.
Hello all,
I have a Samsung Galxy S5 with AT&T model SM-G900A. Any time the phone reboots, on the "Samsung Galaxy S5" boot screen, it says "Custom" and has an "Unlocked Padlock" logo as if the phone were rooted or something. A while back, I was trying to do a basic root to allow use of Titanium Backup using the Towelroot app, which failed because it said my phone was not supported. I'm not sure if this has caused it, or if, as I read elsewhere, it was caused by my once changing from Dalvik to ART. However, I have since switched back to Dalvik, I know its not rooted because SU and other such apps wont work, and I have even Factory Reset the device but I can not get rid of this. I would like to return my phone to its default state. How can I get rid of this "Custom" and Lock Logo? Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

It won't hurt anything as long as Knox isn't tripped but you can download the full stock retail ROM and flash it in Odin or Kies 3.
Update: Phone thinks its rooted?

Okay, so here is an update. After performing a factory reset in order to try and fix this issue, I was playing around and opened the "Softcard" app and received the message that it doesn't work on rooted phones. Since the Towelroot app did not work, I don't understand this. I have also been unable to get SuperUser to install binaries, saying the phone is not rooted. Don't know what this means or if it helps, but thought id give an update. Thanks again!
Would you be so kind as to provide me with a link to the retail ROM and instructions on flashing it through Kies 3? THANKS!
I'd have to do a search. .. or you could. ?

Thanks, I found the file (I hope) and downloaded odin, and it is currently flashing. I will let you know if it a) removes the custom lock and b) fixes the softcard app thinking the phone is rooted. Thanks for your help!
It Worked!!!!!

I would like to report that flashing the stock ROM has fixed both the Custom Lock boot screen as well as SoftCard thinking my phone was rooted. Thank you Rapunzl for your help, you are awesome!
When I originally rooted my phone I managed to not trip knox so warranty is still 0x0. However my phone randomly acts up and chews through battery even after it no longer has its root access. I cleared the cache and wiped all the data to unroot.
Ive been trying to find the correct way to take my phone back to normal. Every time I start up my phone now it has the words custom with a unlocked lock under it.
My phone is a samsung galaxy s7 32g rose gold G930A through at&t
baseband G930AUCS4API2
BUILD NUMBER MMB29M G930AUCS4API2
Im not going to lie i am way out of my league here and any advice or help with what to do would be greatly appreciated.
