From couple of days I am facing a bit unique problem that whenever I enable my data into #GSM it shows h+ and runs 3g and after a while it auto changes into E from h+ and within a minute data network gets disabled.. And again it auto enable data and same process starts: h+ to E, E to h+ and disable / enable.. Network data gets disable enable automatically...
Maybe a provider problem

How you recently update your phone's firmware?
If so, Its not really an unique problem, since I am experiencing the same.
With an OTA update to I9505XXUPOL1, my data connection was not working at all.
To fix my data connection problem, I have flashed I9505XXUHPA1, which was stable connection, but only E (gsm) connection, it has disable LTE.
Sources within this forum say that I9505VJUHOK1 (south america firmware) works properly, I have not tested it yet. If some can confirm please let me or us know.
I download my firmware from the sammobile website

Hehe... I think it occured after couple of master reset?
*IIhan87 I flashed 4.4.2 firmware long time ago and the problem occured now... My baseband is XXUGNH6. And it doesn't have lollipop firmware too if it had I would have tried latest firmware to solve the data network issue: (

For a week, I looked all over XDA forums, read all threads but I still can't find a solution for my n9005 problem.
Here it is: I bought one in Spain, imei unlocked it to use it Morocco. Everything worked just fine and I could use gsm network with a sim from IAM (Moroccan Provider). I then set up mobile APN to have 3G, made sure my sim is 3g enabled, but the phone refused to pick up the 3g signal. I checked the phone's mobile network settings, and found that I haf only 2 options: gsm/wcdma automatic, and wcdma only options.
Well, since Maroc Telecom(IAM) isn't offering a 4G coverage yet, I think that's normal not to have the 4g option. Still, When I use the automatic option I only get 2g signal (and can read my mails over gprs,get twitter notifications, but no internet via browser, etc..).
When I choose Wcdma only option, I simply have no network signal at all.
When searching manually for networks, I get all 3 moroccan's providers but only their 2g networks.
I was prompted for the kitkat update via OTA, updated but it didn't solve the unavailable 3g problem(and caused a few others I managed to solve).
Now, I rooted my n9005 using cf auto root, and off course tripped knox, tried to reset the phone many times, but still no way to have a 3g signal.
Thought about installing a compatible Rom, but I am a newbie, coming from the Apple world, and need some help with this.
Actually, it amuses me that I really waited until android started to ressemble to IOS to decide to switch once for all to Android
Please guys, if you have any idea to help me get the 3G signal, that would be awsome.

I installed the latest CM from the official website and now I have problems with my signal.
Most of the times, the phone can not find a signal. Sometimes it catches it, but it will last for 4-5 minutes. If I go into flight mode and come back, the signal will be there for 1 minute. When I don't have signal, there's the R near the signal bar (Roaming).
I haven't changed my modem with the new installation (I9505XXUAMDC). I am on the O2 / TESCO Mobile network in Ireland.

Hi mate ,
I assume you have an I9505 , there is know issue with modem/bootloader incompatibility you may have to use a modem wifi fix or upgrade the bootloader to use the newer modems

Hi mate ,
If i am not wrong that is a 4.2.2 modem , if you don't worry about the warranty anymore i would get the full package
MODEM / LTE / BOOTLOADER
I fixed it by installing the modem+Wi-Fi fix. I was afraid of installing the bootloader, as if something goes wrong when installing the modem, it can be fixed, but I don't think it's the same with the bootloader

Yesterday I upgraded my N4 to Lollipop and everything went well, except for the fact that I only have EDGE mobile data connection and not 3G.
I tried several things:
- Used other modems from Kitkat and hibrids
- Re-flashed everything (Lollipop)
And the result was the same: NO 3G (H) available, only E (Edge). I ended up soft braking the phone so I used NRT to do a full clean install and re-installed 5.0 from stock (still no 3G, off course).
Does anyone experienced this? Any pointers as to what might be going on?
Help will be appreciated.

Maybe check preffered network in settings or flash a custom kernel, since you have tried pretty much everything

I now went back to Kitkat stock and still the same. It might be the network, but my wife's phone is working on 3G.

It was indeed a network issue, sorry !
I called the company and it was solved in 10 sec with a "line reset".

Seems to be quite stable for its early state.
Known issue is that most apps can only read from external SD, but not write because of changes in storage management of Marshmallow.
There are also voices saying LTE & 3G are not working.
Please test and report

I hava had no problem with LTE/3G since day1.
I only get either G, E, H or H+ connection, but not yet 3G or LTE...

You have to switch to other sim and turn that sim to 2G ( u may not turned to LTE before but it automatically turned into LTE) then switch back to data sim the ntry to change it to LTE or 3G..

Possible the same Problem in my reason. The mifit APP detect the miband but can Connect with it because the miband think its still connected with an other phone.
Next update i unpair first.

I just flashed cm13 and found 2 bugs so far.
1: no setting for disabling either sim cards.
2: no setting for not pressing ok after inserting pin to unlock phone.

No. CM 13 has not been officially launched yet. It is still under development and proceeds step by step.
I have updated to stock 6.0.1 and updated Bootloader and Modem accordingly.
But from then on, I can't install CM13!
it gets in boot loop.
Has anybody been able to install CM13 after updating bootloader to 6.0.1?

Or IMEI is correct, wifi works perfectly, only this problem of emergency calls only when I set network mode to LTE/3G/2G automatically or 3G/2G automatically or 3G only. I tried everything I know, reflashing original roms from Samsung(android 5.0.1, 5.1.1, 6.0.1), many custom roms ..., ... No way, no solution. The only thing that I tried to make my phone working as phone is just put the network mode in setting to 2G, not 3G, nor 4G, just 2G. I have the same issue in my 910c.
It stopped working out of nowhere, november 2016, I was using the same stable rom for months at the time, wasn't due to a bad update.
Tried everything to fix it, even downgraded to kitkat stock rom, restored IMEI backup, nothing seems to work.
I'm only able to use it as a phone in 2g, it's painful.
Checked my IMEI already, it's not blocked, serial number is correct, CSC is correct, region is correct...
Anyone passed through this and managed to fix it?
