Anyone know how to print to a brother mFC 420n?

CLOUD PRINT IN Chrome
There is two ways.. I have a j85something printer.. brother
The first way is to use the Brother printer app for android. It will find the printer . But only if the printer is connected to a router with wireless.
best way from android.
install google chrome..web browser on your pc that has the printer set up on.
from google chrome be sure you are logged into your same google account that is on your android device.
In Chrome go to settings (the wrench icon on the left)
then in the menu scroll down to settings.. GO ALL the way to bottom and click show advanced settings.Scroll down to google cloud print. Follow the instructions on how to set it up. Then i use CLOUDPRINT app from the android market ..
Good Luck... if you have any trouble just post back or pm me...
I use an app called printer share. It sees any printers on your network. Simple to use, set up, and I can print anything I want from my tablet. Its not free though....

I use this method, and it works good for me. Its uses your default printer settings to print.

Print Bot works for me but I do have a print server to connect to my three printers.
Try print hand

Has anyone else tried using Location Spoofer on their Nexus 10 under a profile other than the main one?
My wife uses the main profile and I have a secondary profile (since she uses talk on the nexus 10). I watch the NHL games and need to use location spoofer to watch blacked out games. It seems you can only spoof location in the main profile, and if you then switch to a secondary profile, the location is not spoofed there.
Anyone else have any experience with this?
Thanks.

You need root with that, right? SuperSU doesn't have multi-user support yet - learned that in a similar way trying to set up my wife as main user.
But, the Superuser built in to the latest cm10.1 has mulit-user support... And I assume SuperSU will soon too.

I have had my Galaxy S 4 for a few months, and the only thing I dislike is how it doesn't integrate as well as iPhone does with Mac OS X (duh). What's a good way to integrate Mac OS X with the Galaxy S 4?
For music, I'm fine using iTunes and iSyncr, but I was looking for ways to sync notifications from the S 4 to Mac and for a feature like iMessage, where I could respond to texts from my Mac. Any ideas? Also, is there a way to sync my camera roll with iPhoto?
Thanks!
Did you try throwing away your Mac and getting a computer? It worked for some of my friends... Ubuntu 13.04 gels quite well with Android.
iDontBelieveSo
Checkout google music (they accept up to 20,000 previously purchased songs). For texting from my pc I use airdroid. I don't sync my photos so I don't have a recommendation but maybe some will chime in. Maybe at some point a user will write a post in here that's actually helpful.
Welcome to Android. Cheers, buddy.
Macs are good machines. But I use airdroid and play music

Is anyone aware of a way to get past blackout restrictions on an android TV device? From what I've read you can get around it on a phone using several different methods of spoofing the GPS data/IP data, but I cannot find any information about how to do this with android TV or if it is even possible. Has anyone tried or had any luck with this? Would like to get it working with my nexus player and my shield TV.
A smart DNS service such as Unotelly should be able to do what you're looking for. They offer an 8-day free trial so you can test their service out without having to pay first. Once you've registered with them, enter the two closest DNS servers in to your router's control panel and the settings should take effect for all the devices on your home network. http://help.unotelly.com/support/so...watch-your-home-team-and-blue-jays-if-you-are
I've tried unlocator but it doesn't work because it doesn't alter the GPS data... I wonder if unotelly is any different...

None of the current Android TV boxes have GPS mechanisms inside of them so there's no need to worry about that. It's quick and easy to create a trial account with UnoTelly so try it out and see if it solves your problem with MLB.TV blackout restrictions.
Interestingly, this worked while unlocator did not! Thanks a lot!

I'm happy to hear that it worked for you. Can you check to see which version of the MLB.TV app is installed on your Android TV device? v1.3.4 of MLB.TV on my Nexus Player only shows a black screen when I try to load video streams and I'd like to know if anyone else here is experiencing this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-player/help/mlb-tv-v1-3-4-app-loading-video-t3189553
I'll have to look but I am currently using a shieldtv and not a nexus player (my nexus player is currently relegated to a shelf due to issues with a lot of apps)

Hey guys. Does anyone have a working apk of the DirecTV app for the Nvidia Shield Android TV?
It looks like it has HDMI protection and just fails to stream. Has anyone been able to remove the protection on the .smali file that has it?
What is the exact error that you are receiving? I use to be able sideload a Direct TV apk for either the phone or the tablet but now they have stop working. When it worked fine it was amazing. I was able to watch my subscribed premiums. I think we need to incentivize developers to find a means of allowing functionality through our Nvidia Shield. I will pledge a 300 bounty for the first person that finds a work around. There are many gifted people on this forum and as a whole we can solve this issue.
Any luck with this?
Not sure if it's an HDMI block because if you notice certain channels do work (local NBC works for me as well as ESPN channels). I'm inclined to think the device isn't giving the proper location access to the app thus forcing the error for most channels. Just my 2 cents.
I experimented with a custom ROM yesterday and the DIRECTV app worked great on it. I don't think the app has an HDMI block, I think it's more that the stock rom restricts the necessary permissions or location requests.
What android tv box are you using? Are you using the latest directv version (phone or tablet)? What custom ROM you use?
I have a shield TV and I'm using zulu99's full android marshmellow firmware. There isn't any controller support so you'll have to pair with a mouse/keyboard but pretty much all apps work on it.
Hey guys, I am in the same situation. I have found two other threads on the issue. It is definitely not an HDMI issue or a WiFi issue. Someone has tried to fool the app on what device it's on and it worked but it was too much work. There must be a simpler way to achieve this.

I would love to see someone figure this out. I have tried to tinker, but I am just not smart enough to make it happen. Hopefully one of the many crazy smart dev's will take a look at this sometime. ((fingers crossed))

The Direct TV app now is working I have the same issue but i think it was an ATT issue but its working as of 10/19/16
but not working on my note 4
DirecTV now
Hi, DirecTV Now app is not in my Google play store ! I'm using Nvidia shield TV. Any reason why it's not showing up ..
Thanks
I would love to use the DirecTV Now app on the nVidia Shield too. I extracted the APK from the app I installed on my Pixel XL, and loaded it on the Shield, but I get the following error:
failed to connect to aeg-umsgw.quickplay.com/23.101.201.149 (port443) after 10000ms
Man, life would be good if they'd release this app for the Shield.
Ok, so I was able to extract the Fire TV .apk file and sideload onto my Nvidia Shield TV. I was able to open it and navigate using the standard Shield remote. The only issue I am having is playing live TV content. Sometimes it loaded fine and other times it gives me an error and telling me to Refresh the content. Seems to be very buggy for Android TV. Here is a link to the extracted .apk file. I would like to see what you guys get trying this out.

I got mine working. I did a Sideload APK install from APK Mirror "DIRECTV for Tablets 4.7.015 by DIRECTV, LLC --- September 9, 2016" (select that version)
My problem was that I kept trying to use the Telephone version of this App. I did not know that DirecTv has a Tablet APK version as well that is very similar but has slight variations for older tablets. Let me know if yours works now. I don't need $300, but a $10 Starbucks gift card will do...
*** SINCE I am new to this forum I cant post the link *** Go to the APKMIRROR website and search "Directv" -> then select-> "DIRECTV for Tablets 4.7.015"
Enjoy.

It seems there is some confusion and contusion between the DirecTV apps. The hot new toppic is about the DirecTV NOW service. I ran the search on APKmirror and it seems what you are talking about is the older app for DirecTV satellite service customers.
http://www.apkmirror.com/?s=Directv&post_type=app_release&searchtype=apk
I am referring to the DirecTV app that is for satellite customers, NOT the Now app.
I was able to download the tablet version of the DirecTV app and use it on my Nexus Player running stock 7.1.1 system, but you have to use a mouse; the app is designed for touch input and while you can sort of use the remote, there are a bunch of things you cannot press without using a mouse. Still hoping for some official support at.. using a mouse isn't ideal. Here is the latest apk file: updated 11/24/2016 v. 4.9.010

Resurrecting this old thread. Do you still use the directv app on your shield and is it working ok? Do you have a more recent apk you can share? For anyone reading this I am looking for the DirecTV app NOT the DirecTV Now app. Thank you!
