please I'm trying to update my Huawei P8lite but get Update Failed
I tried to extract update.app to use it with ADB but when I extract the update it doesn't become just Recovery.IMG Cust.IMG. System.IMG ect... when I extract the updates I find a lot of files so I can't use them to install a ROM on my device
please any help

I have Huawei P8 lite Device and I deleted my stock Rom using Twrp Recovery...so I need Some Help.I downloaded the stock rom from official website. and i try to make a flashable zip using guides on internet.But i did not succeed and that update.app is not installing the rom.so I need a Flashable zip of huawei p8 lite Ale-L21 If some body have then give me a link or any source to getting my device alive...Thanks
tehere's not a zip flashable by twrp.
Use huawei extractor and extract images from a full update then enter fastboot mode and flash from there, i don't remember exactly command, something like fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (and so on).

You must have your c185b160 update.app file, you'll also need Huawei Update Extractor download link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3262544

Now unzip the downloades extractor zip file amd install it.. Open the extractor and browse update.app (b160 update.app). After browsing, you will see many files; image files (system.img, boot.img,etc) amd other files (meta-inf, etc).. Among them you'll need only 4 image file; system, boot, recovery and cust..
Unzip minimal adb and fastboot and install it.. Now open it with administrator privilege and flash in this order:
Fastboot flash boot boot. img,
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img, Fastboot flash cust cust.img,
Fastboot flash system system.img..
If flashing is done, you're on b160

i install C432OemInfo-DUALSIM-P9LITE from TWRP and next upload to sd/dload/ update.app VNS-L21C432B170 and i get:
Software install failed

When i try unlock bootloader i get error: FAILED (remote: already fastboot unlocked)
Try to use B150 or B160
It ok if you get that error. Install B160 and you will be fine. Because that s the latest official firmware. Go ahead and try :d
Just putting the firmware in dload and using 3 buttons method worked for me
i unpack update.app using HuaweiUpdateExtractor_0.9.9.3 and next flash boot.img, recovery.img, cust.img, cache.img, userdata.img and system.img. Now i have emui etc. but in settings show mi:

I would want to make a full system reinstall on my Huawei Nova CAN-L11. Full wipe and clear system install. I have one big reason: when I turn on mobile data, I have 50% chance to get internet connection. Otherwise I have to go change from 3G/2G to LTE/3G/2G or vice versa. Also when I haven't got internet, I can't send MMS. I want to try myself with reinstalling against giving Huawei Service because I don't have time to drive to nearest city with Huawei Service.
I wasn't playing with android reinstalling via fastboot and adb for a while, about 3 years so I have questions.
Can I do this on locked bootloader?
What files I have to have? I wasn't installing system on any Huawei. On Sony it was simple - download .tft, get flashtool and begin, but I have no idea what I have to do on Huawei.
I haven't found any guide for Huawei Nova but found guide for Huawei Ascend P7.
Now I will type steps that I think I should to do. Tell me if they are good or no and what to change.

Yes these Steps Are good. Just used these for myself to Reinstall system via Fastboot. But my Bootloader was Unlocked, if it doesnt work, unlock bootloader first.
But use the latest Firmware for CAN11.
And if you run accross any cust.img File for your CAN11 please let me know. ^^
