RRO layers compatibility on A3 - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Do RRO layers work on our devices? I know they're made to theme stock, but I'm not completely sure as to whether or not they work on touchwiz. Thanks to anyone that helps

No sadly they don't work on our devices (2015 editions). I think they need s6 like theme engine to work because I have read somewhere that they can work on j5 and j7.

Well that's a bumber

[Q] Android L Theme for Stock Based Roms

hi
now that we have nice G3 and other themes i want to ask, if there is a Android L based Theme for D802 Stock/Flex/G3 Roms.
upp
uppp
it would be nice ! atleas for the cloudyfleex
Knowing these devs, they're probably already working on it.
I'll be updating the AOSP theme in my/RocketSauce83's thread sometime soon. Real life is a little hectic right now.
If its rooted you could used the new xposed theme engine. Its capable of handling CM themes once ported over. There are a few Android L themes in play store the best one being from Nucleoid
I know this thx,
but if you want to use ART xposed doesn´t work.

Can Cm theme engine be ported?

I wanted to know if cm engine can be ported since yotaphone 2 rom is not heavily customised.
Sent from my YD201 using Tapatalk
also I wonder whether it is possible to make the port the CM or miui firmware on our device? Even like the kernel source code is.
I´ll also interesting for a cyanogenmod or miui or oter costum rom for yotaphone 2, but i don´t find it. Can someone port cm etc. for yotaphone 2?
OK so we never got CM for Yotaphone but can we still play around with the stock software? Would be great if stock software were able to be modded with black background. The more black and white themed software we could get the better and easier it would be to use the back screen. The more contrast the better.
Please check for example SlimRom's "The real dark slim" theme. That would be perfect for two reasons: black uses less power on AMOLED screens and black and white Android theme would look perfect on back screen.
I tested to do a modded firmware (apps removed, some fonts tweak ....) with this guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801690 , the firware generation is ok but the current TWRP can't flash it.
So if we can't found a way to flash it, it's useless

Samsung T585 themes

Hello
I just bought this tablet but I can't find theme store
Is there any way to work themes with this tablet?
Also is there a specific thread for this tablet?
Don't shoot me
me too
ive tried installing theme store after root but wont work. best i could do was root and install twrp then xposed and theme my status bar.. i cant even find roms apart from on Russian sites.
I am thinking about getting this tablet but it seems that themes are non existing. Also as noted custom roms are lacking. In comparison there are lots of developers on the S2. Unfortunately since I want a budget tablet for reading with decent specs and a slim rom like Lineage OS. But there only seems to be debloated or/and tweaked Touchwiz roms...

Substratum theme engine for stock rom 6.0.1. It's possible?

Hello everyone. Has any developer ever attempted to make substratum theme engine for rom stock, specifically for android 6.0.1 or below? Well it only works on custom roms or AOSP. I recently saw on a website (I can not remember which) that from Nougat, the substratum can be used in stock roms. However, I think I will not use it on my S5 (SM-G900MD) because maybe he will not get to the Nougat. So that's all. Thank you.
Sadly devs of the app aren't interested in supporting lower versions of Android, let alone Samsung's versions. They had problems with Samsung's skin even on Nougat/Oreo so you need to install a plugin in order to make it work there. As much as I want my S5 to last forever (as it's a freaking awesome phone heh) its time is coming when most new and cool apps just won't get on it, not even with xda devs, because after Marshmallow android changed quite a few ways in its core. That made Substratum possible on newer versions. And the custom ROMs you refer to are indeed android 7 and up. I'm on a custom 6.0.1 ROM and it doesn't work - I tried.

No worries, your english is OK
Hello I managed to make it work on the S5 SM-G901F in 6.0.1 rom stock but very difficult because there are many errors of compilation it is necessary to download substratum on aptoide and to test several engine with theme until that it works sorry I do not remember which one I used because I have since removed.
The theme engines can be on Google play, although read the descriptions to see if rom stock samsung is supported.

Layers (now Substratum) for Intel SoFIA Marshmallow?

Anyone running Layers or the newer (but not latest) Substratum Legacy on their Intel SoFIA Marshmallow ROM's?
How is it working out for you and what themes are you using?
I'd like to add some themes but am a little worried about trying it since I haven't figured out how to Nandroid my ROM yet.
And with how OEM-customized these stock ROM's are, I'm not even sure it would be worth it, let alone if it would be able to theme very much of anything at all.
