Sim not found marshmallow? - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a moto x 1572 dual sim indian variant. I tried flashing Trupure XMM but then the sim card is not being detected. I even flashed the modem from the thread and another modem from indian firmware thread. How do I fix this ? how do I get my sim to work. If anyone can guide me it will be highly appreciated.

Did you try and use the search? Someone with a similar issue created a thread last week. The solution is in this thread on the second page of this subsection:
SOLVED: Flashed TruPureXMM rom in Indian dualsim XT1572 and now No sim detection
Hope this helps.

Is this MM for XT1572 Single Sim Asia variant?

Hi,
Just saw the link to download this firmware XT1572_CLARK_RETASIA_DS_6.0_MPH24.49-18_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip, around 1.2GB. Been searching around but haven't seen anyone mentioned what it is. So just wanna ask if it upgrades my X Style XT1572 Single Sim Asia variant to MM? Thanks.
Pretty sure that's for the dual sim variant.

Yes the _DS_ means dual SIM which was primarily launched in India and hence has the RETASIA carrier, no news yet for Single SIM Retail Asia Firmware
How frustrating is it to be on 5.1.1 and no update in sight for single sim asian firmware and hardly any roms to flash.

Sim Card Not Found; software or hardware help.

Hi everyone,
I am looking for a bit of help. I am trying to rule out whether my newly purchased Moto X Pure (XT1575) is having a device issue or a mismatched software issue. I experience an issue in the past with my Moto G 4G where the bootloader and modem where incompatible thus rendering the SIM card unreadable.
When I purchased this device I made the mistake of not reading more thoroughly to figure out the best path to upgrading to 6.0 with unlocking the bootloader coupled with not actually installing the SIM card into the phone first. I unlocked the bootloader and then tried to install the Blur_Version.23.21.18.clark_retus.retus.en.US.zip that was found here on the forums because the OTA installer was taking over an hour to download :|.
So after flashing various roms, modems, and boot loaders, I am coming to the community for some assistance in determining what the working combination is for the device. So if anyone that is using a XT1575 device, could you please post your working configuration, specifically what your Bootloader (BL: ### in bootloader screen), your Baseband (also in bootloader), and Product Variant ( just because). Any and all posts will be appreciated.
TL;DR: Please post information about your baseband, bootloader, and product variant from bootloader screen.
Hai..
Same problem here..
Baseband : M8992_1255331.29.01.88.02V SUPER_NA
Product XT 1575
System version : 24.11.18.clark_retus.en.US retus
Build : MPH24.49-18
My location in Indonesia
My SIM card is unreadable also.. have you solve the problem?
Thanks
Same problem here after update to Android 6... No Service but Sim card show all the info.

Baseband : M8992_1255331.29.01.88.02V SUPER_NA

A6000-i Single Sim

Hi. I have a Lenovo A6000 Single Sim. I bricked my phone it reflashed it with the dual sim version. But then I somehow cannot use any sim card. It says I have to insert a sim from China Telecom. I then flashed Philippines.ota.zip (which is my country code), after i checked ####6020# in the dial screen, then I found Philippines as carrier, but I still get the same error.
I tried to flashed the ota update single sim ROM for A6000-m. The ROM worked fine, but when I checked again for the Carrier in ####6020#, my carrier was not indicated, only Egypt, Czech, UAE, and others. Then I flashed again the Philippines.ota.zip, but found out that it might not be compatible as it is for the LP version (error in the flashing).
Will someone help my Lenovo A6000 to be able to read/make data connections again? Thanks!
PS: My phone is originally locked on a certain Philippine Carrier.
You can try instaling custom rom and then flashing a single sim mod from @wujke post

mysterious bug sim slot

i m a moto g4 plus user and my friend also recently bought moto g4 plus but there a strange issue with that only airtel sim is working.......tried jio and bsnl sim in both slots but it shows sim slot is empty whereas airtel sim is working properly in both the slots....
Is the phone carrier-unlocked?. Looks like it's not.
I have the same problem here. I flashed my ROM to unbrick my hard bricked device. I have an Indian variant phone. I guess I flashed other variant. I will flash mine with Indian variant and I will let you know about it soon.
To be honest I thought that I messed up with my sim slots after flashing. I will update the thread as soon as possible.

XT1681 dual SIM version

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I didn't find anything. I just purchased the XT1681 dual SIM version of this phone. First question, is it compatible with all the potter roms? Second question, will I lose the dual SIM function?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The builds for EU/US will work well for dual SIM devices. Only India has a different build (the latest one ends on 92 for India and 93 for EU/US). I have the european version with dual SIM (so I can't speak for the indian firmware) and flashed POTTER_NPNS25.137-33-11_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip without any problems. Also later builds should work.
Sent from my Moto G5 Plus using XDA Labs
I have the same model of you and i have flashed successful all of the roms here, now im on resurrection remix 6.0.
All roms have Dual Sim function so don't worry about it!
Remember if you flash custom Oreo roms don't get back to stock or you will lose VoLTE.
Take full twrp backup(oem, efs etc.) and keep it safe.
If you have any question you can send private message im from mexico too.
