That's WhatsApp specific.
Try taking picture from Action Bar Menu, i.e WhatsApp > Attach(icon beside phone icon on action bar) > Photo.
That made the trick, thanks!
Thanks

So something I've noticed is that when using Hangouts for MMS and I try to take and send a portrait shot photo with the stock Samsung camera app.....it appears to work fine on my end...but everyone ends up receiving a photo that has been rotated 90 degrees left. Only seems to do this with the stock camera app - if I switch to using Vignette for the camera app - portrait shots are sent correctly.
Landscape shots work either way regardless....
anyone else experienced this? I'm guessing its a problem with the stock camera app (be it code or a setting or something I'm missing)
So, I've got a relatively new stock, NC4, rooted device. No Safestrap installed. Rooted using towelroot. Only root apps installed are Wanam xposed and Titanium.
When I take a photo with the stock camera app, if the "processing" progress bar does NOT show after taking the shot, the photo seems to have taken properly and all is as it should be.
However, any time I take a photo and the "processing" progress bar appears immediately afterward, the actual photo that saves seems to be whatever is in the viewfinder at the time the progress bar completes! Eg, I take a photo of object A, the "processing" progress bar appears, I move the camera to a different view with object B in it, then once the progress bar completes, I look in the gallery and the last photo is of object B!
Anybody seen this before or know what's going on here?
Thanks.
I had this lag issue as well. After some searching, users suggested disabling "Smart Stabilization" from camera settings. It was a night and day difference afterward, and the pictures look fine to me.

Hello everyone,
I'm have looked online and I can't find anyone else that is having the same issues. I have a Verizon S5. On downloaded images from the internet or sent to txt (stock sms app) i can see the full color of the photo for a split second then it looks faded. If i hit the back button it flashes its normal color real quick before backing out of the photo. I am using the stock gallary app not the G+ gallery.
Thanks

Hello, in my stock camera if i take portrait mode picture, the photo comes normal only with no blur, there's no depth effect on any person or object, tried forced stopping still..
It's not a big problem for me as I am using GCam only for portrait photos ? but the stock camera need to run properly
