{help} Downgrading from leaked lollipop to kitkat 4.4.2

Hello friends i flashed leaked version of lollipop on i9500 and i wanna back to kitkat, can anyone tell me the procedure?:crying:

I installed Leaked Chinese version of Lollipop in Samsung Galaxy S4 GT i9500. That stupid o.s doesnt have any of the Google app not even playstore. I tried reverting back to Kitkat! but i got failed error messages.
Please someone guide me! is there a way to revert back to Kitkat.

If you want google apps just flash the android lollipop gapps and voilá

But since you have break the knox you are not able to downgrade your phone i think

i also cant able to go back......****in chinease ver.... if i instal 4.4kik. through ozcan rom .... then phone's imei no. changes to null....:crying::crying:

Hi friends i flashed the CHN version lollipop after flashed that thing i can't go back to kitkat.but finally i flashed the 'philztouch recovery' via odin and rerooted and flashed the 5.0.1 gapps its done.but how can i go back to kitkat pls tell me any one?

There doesn't seem to be any fix for this. Some users posted that they managed to change to another rom, but they lost the IMEI and baseband. And they don't seem to be able to restore any of them. Even with a backup.

Probably not possible because you also can't downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3, so it makes sense that you can't downgrade.

before install any one cyanogenmod fom sdcard and nest install kitkat with odin )))

Hello friend, you can describe how you managed to install the google apps? can pass me the links where I can download them ??? I just need to install the Google Apps as well have the features I need (calendar and contacts integrated google the phone). Thank you for your help.

i had the same prb with my s4 i9500 black edition. what i did is that i installed the official releas of android 5.0.1 (that you can find it in XDA forum) with odin than i downgrad it to 4.4.2 and the phone works.
I hope that it will work for you too

Is there a guide available to downgrade the 19505 from Lollipop ( at the moment i am using Official Cyanogenmod 12 5.0.2) to Kitkat ? I miss the features of the Xposed Modules very badly. In my opinion it is a disadvantage to upgrade your phone to Lollipop .

I have the same problem. even not connecting to kies to emergency firmware recovery.

I'm also having the same problem with downgrading from "lol"ipop to k.k.just pls anyone tell me one thing ?when I going to download mod in download mod menu in my i9500 i saw a strange words like this in blue colour I never saw like this before "securemod-enabeled"this is it. If is this means boot is locked??? If yesI means tell me how to unlock boot loader.

Hi im a bit of a noob when it comes too this flashing business but i managed to update my i9505 to lollipop using odin and the official stock rom but the problem i have now is my network signal is now terrible where it was good before is ther anyway that a noob like me can fix this issue? Im in uk on giffgaff (o2)
i have never rooted my s4 before and if some one has a noob guide for rooting from lollipop so i can custom rom it up i might give that a look too, I wouldnt mind a nice slim custom rom with a few extra tweeks and without all the google and samsung rubbish that comes standard..

The signal problem is probably caused by the modem.
You have to flash the latest modem for your phone, country and carrier.
If you already are on the latest modem then a lollipop modem might help.
Here you can find a guide on how to root lollipop.
If you want a slim rom you better try CM12 or GPE. If you like touchwiz then look for a touchwiz based lollipop rom around the forum.

Is your phone branded or unlocked? Coz this is very important. UK(O2) still without lollipop update. This is the possible reason that you are receiving weak network signal.

sorry for late reply... its unbranded unlocked version
i will try and look for the latest modem and give that a try tonight.... Think i might root and put a custom rom on in the end anyway as there is some minor bugs on the lollipop rom that its annoying me

Install this APP (cover serial number and IMEI) and add some screenshots for avoid problems.

What Firmware u using ? Lollipop or MarshMallow and What u installed for root CF file or some kernel ?

the same hapend to me... I was on marshmallow... please help...

HI, don't know if you already solve your problem but if not, your solution is here. Just download the original firmware for your phone model and flash it with Odin. You will loose any data you have, your phone will be just like out of the box.

Download the correct firmware from Sammobile making sure its the correct one. For example, my phone is SM-G928f unlocked. So I use United Kingdon BTU. Other firmwares may freeze up your phone and you will need to re-flash again. Once you have picked your firmware, follow the instruction on screen given to you on the download page

i want to install stock rom (with out all the verizon useless apps) and to be able to insatll and use Wanam language enabler.

I have the same phone as you, the SM-G900V and I'm looking to do the same thing as you. I'm on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 on VZW. Can you point me in the direction of how you got it rooted? Could you tell me where to find and use the "ok3" rom and unlock the bootloader? I already opened developer mode and enabled USB debugging, but I don't know what to do from there. Any help would be appreciated.

How do I downgrade Leon LTE marshmallow back to lollipop? And where I find proper stock rom? Been googling this one few days now.
Rooting does not work. At least I haven´t found solution. Would be more than happy to root this piece of **** and install custom rom.
Please help! I need wifi hotspot back!

OK I´ll answer to my own question. I found official firmware (According to forum guidelines I cannot post links but send me pm if you need it) and then flashed it with LG Flash Tool. Now back in Lollipop and everything runs smoothly again
