I really missed the note 5 keyboard if anyone can provide me apk to download it would be awesome thank you.
If you're looking for something with numbers in the front keyboard similar to the note 5, then this is it.

Try fleksy keyboard from the play store.
You can set the numbers on top the keyboard.
It's the best for me.

Hi everyone.
A friend of mine would like to get a Samsung Galaxy S
(this one: http://www.samsung.com/au/smartphone/galaxys/index.html)
He knows that I have a Google Nexus One, and he likes the voice input feature most.
For nexus one, there's a microphone button on Android keyboard, so it can voice input to any text box.
Since Galaxy S uses swype keyboard, does it support voice input still?
Thanks!

EDIT* Sorry, think I misspoke, I think it has it, I'll let someone confirm. There are keyboards he can get with voice input, so this shouldn't be something of a concern to him.

I've been using CyanogenMod for a while on my M2. BTW, works like a charm and installation was painless - thanks a lot for all the tips and your hard work.
One thing I am missing quite a lot from the stock ROM (probably the only thing, really) is having dictionary suggestions displayed at the bottom of the screen when using the physical keyboard (as when using any onscreen keyboard). I have searched the settings menus and simply can't find it anywhere. I have even installed MIUI for a while to see if it was there but no luck either.
Am I missing something or is this feature only available on stock ROM? If so, do you think it would be possible to have it ported to CM7 or any other non-stock ROM in that matter? That would be quite useful especially considering that the M2 keyboard is a little bit on a rubbish side - improved a lot with the Debounce fix though.
Thanks a lot for any suggestions!

But this is on-screen keyboard, isn't it?
yes, but got also auto-correct for HW keyboard with many languages
Oh, didn't know that. I'll have a look. Cheers.
This is quite odd though. Doesn't it mean that installing a stock keyboard patch would bring this feature back? I installed it and the stock on-screen keyboard was fine but I am fairly certain it didn't work. Unless there were some settings I missed.
Works fine actually. Thanks a lot for the tip wadimka.
Wonder if there is a free app with the same functionality.
I ended up using GO Keyboard. I like the interface more, the dictionary seems to be a bit better for some reason (not sure if that's even possible ) and on top of that it's free.
I am fairly certain I have tried it before as I use other GO apps including GO Launcher and the dictionary wasn't working with the built-in keyboard. Looks like I must have messed up some settings.

Sent from my LG-D803 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Just upgraded to the S5 from the S4 and hate the swype keyboard. I loved the one on the S4 but with this one I have trouble getting it to recognize the correct words but am unsure what the difference is. I've tried searching for the topic unuccesfully. Anyone else experiencing this or have any tips on how I can improve it?
The tip is use the actual Swype keyboard and stop using the half baked Samsung Swipe thingy.
And question goes to Q&A section, not here.
Hey guys,
I´m a proud owner of the G3 since today.
As for right now, everything seems to work pretty good I guess.
The only thing that really bothers me, I get a pretty tough lag when scrolling through LG´s emoji.
I also had this, when I tried the Keyboard on my S3 but tbh I thought, that the S3 might be just too weak or something.
Kinda disappointed that the final result stays the same

same issue here !!!!
If you check the list of mods, there is a way you can replace the LG emoji with iOS ones. It eliminated all lag for me!
I find the LG keyboard to be ultra laggy. Some times it misses letters, other times its just unresponsive. I swapped out to the Android L keyboard and zero lag or any other issues. Best thing I've done to this phone so far
I´m still kinda afraid of rooting the phone. Since I got no PC here, I won´t be able to restore the "un-root" mode, just in case :/
Kinda disappointing, since I actually was looking forward to that keyboard..
Think I should give the Android L keyboard a try.
/e: works flawless, wow!
Emoji help
I am able to send emojis just fine but when people send them to me they just show up as symbols.
Ex. If I receive a smiling emoji from someone it shows up as "X=^" instead of the actual emoji. Any suggestions on what to do ?
