Hello everyone, anubis23 here. It's has been a long time since I've posted anything on xda-dev. So here is my contribution to the community that has been good to me since Windows Mobile 5.
Disclaimer: This method may brick your phone! Back up all data. I am not responsible if you break your phone. Use the steps below at your own discretion! Please be careful.
I've finally had success in de-branding my AT&T Lumia 640 LTE, so that i was able to de-brand it and flash the T-Mobile US ROM on it so i could benefit from having band 12. During the past couple of weeks I've tried numerous methods as to de-branding my phone but kept running into bad luck due to signature errors and other miss fortune. At the end of the process to find a way to de-brand my AT&T Lumia 640 LTE i unfortunately half bricked my phone, where it had the red screen. My initial attempt to repair the boot loader using the WDRT was where it ended for me, as the WDRT restarted my phone and as a result full bricked it . It currently suffers from the QHSUSB_BULK error which is due to the partition tables being erase and i currently do not have JTAG hard to recover it, so i had to buy a MetroPcs board and swapped it into my phone.
Simple Process, won't bore anyone with the research, trails and errors i encountered.
Below I attached an archive that has 3 cabs in it that needs to be deployed to the AT&T Lumia 640 (which has the dreaded DeviePlatformId; MSM8926.P6204_ATT.1.1 lock on it) that you need to deploy to your phone using the iutool posted by WojtasXda.
Information about my Set-UP:
1. My Phone and girlfriend's phone was SIM UNLOCK (shouldn't have anything to do with the unlocking process, but meh)
2. I had the stock and freshly installed AT&T ROM (Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2) loaded onto it, using WDRT. The ROM that was: RM1073_02177.00000.15184.36016_RETAIL_prod_signed_1004_022B79_ATT-US.ffu from the WDRT software.
3. The device was not developer unlocked.
4. WDRT installed, with necessary drivers.
5. Windows 10 PC, with standard build, and insider fast build 11099. (Both build worked)
Step By Step:1. Download the attached archive and extract them to anywhere you want.2. Place the 3 extracted cabs in a folder on the root of your PC. (ex: C:\Lumia\)3. Download and install the tools that contain the iutool. Found HERE.4. Open a command prompt window, with administrative privilege.5. Change the command prompt working directory to the location of the iutool;
Code:
cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Phone Kits\8.1\Tools\bin\i386
6. Connect your phone to your PC, (this goes without saying, you should have the WDRT [Found here] installed that way the necessary drivers are already in stalled.)7. With you phone connected, executed the code below, in the already opened command prompt window;
Code:
iutool.exe -p C:\Lumia -V
8. The phone cabs will be downloaded to your phone and then install. Your phone will then restart to apply the cabs, and then start up with the "migration" loading screen to complete the process.9. Congrats you have now over written the DevicePlatformID in your phone so that you can now de-brand your phone to any other Lumia 640 LTE ROM.a. To make sure that you have successfully applied the cabs and the DeicePlatformId has changed, follow these addition steps.b. Download Kaptaiin LumiaFlashTools, found here.c. Extract the archive to a folder and navigate to the WPID folder and run the "Start.bat" to initial the tool.d. Once the program has launched, click on the "Flash a Windows Phone image onto your phone" option.e. With your phone disconnected from the PC. Turn off your phone.f. Press the POWER BUTTON and hold down the VOLUME UP button till you see the lighting gear screen, and then connect your phone to the PC.g. Connect your phone to your PC, and go back to the Windows Phone Image Designer application. You should now see that the device is recognized as "Flash-able Devices: Nokia.MSM8926.P6204.1.1", which indicates that the process above has finished successfully.h. You can now proceed to de-brand your phone with another Lumia 640 LTE image using this same method, by selecting the ROM to flash in the Image Designer window and hitting flash button or by following the method below.10. You can follow Kaptaiin wonderful guide that he and others has put together.Note: If you ever decide to use the WDRT to re-flash your phone. You need to run the code below to change the product code of the phone. You have to change the product code of the phone to make sure that WDRT does not re-download and install the old ATT ROM, which would then undo what we just did.
Code:
thor2 -mode uefiflash -ffufile "Location of your downloaded ROM" -productcodeupdate "new product code" -skip_flash
This will change the product code of your phone from the AT&T product code, to the T-Mobile US Product Code.
Flashing the T-Mobile US ROM.
You do not have to do this if you do not want to de-brand with the T-Mobile ROM, you are free to use whatever ROM you choose. Be careful to do research on other roms, to check to see if it alters the DevicePlatformId parameter in a bad way, like ATT did.10. Download the T-Mobile ROM [US Product Code: 059X0P7] using means you have chosen to use, NaviFirm or Nokia Data Package Manager.
Seems like the NaviFirm and Nokia Data Package servers are still down and it seems like it might not return, however Petulinek found an alternative to downloading the firmware. Please be cautious when downloading firmware from non original sources.

If you guys decide to use the TMO rom that i used, here are the checksum information from the file that i have, which was downloaded with the Nokia Data Package Manager a while back.
Code:
RM1073_02177.00000.15203.26115_RETAIL_prod_signed_1001_023F70_TMO-US.ffu
MD5 Checksum: E0140458F031A610A7E06A5E5134D838
SHA-1 Checksum: 3EC8ABB689F435232A1280164B5B8242F88E3139
SHA-256 Checksum: 1B2CD97BD0CABFEAED13E6EED99902D7CD419B8DEA48CA7F1FBCC50758273CEF
11. Installing the downloaded ROM using WDRT.a. Open a command prompt window with administrative privileges.b. Run the following command:
Code:
cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Care Suite\Windows Device Recovery Tool
c. Connect your phone to your PC.d. Run the command to start flashing your phone:
Code:
thor2 -mode uefiflash -ffufile "Location of downloaded ROM"
An example would be, at least for what i did was:
Code:
thor2 -mode uefiflash -ffufile "C:\Lumia\RM-1073\RM1073_02177.00000.15203.26115_RETAIL_prod_signed_1001_023F70_TMO-US.ffu"
This was the ROM i used to de-brand the AT&T Lumia 640 which had the DevicePlatforId change, using the steps above.
Click to collapse
e. Wait for the ROM to flash and you will have a green screen, this means that flashing process was successful.f. Now restart your phone by holding down the VOLUME DOWN button and POWER BUTTON or just the POWER BUTTON, till it vibrates.g. Let your phone go through the install process.h. Once your phone has finish booting up and setup process completed, it is RECOMMENDED that you run the follow code to prevent your phone from re-downloading the AT&T ROM, either by phone update or by using WDRT. If you do not run this command after flashing your phone with the new ROM, your phone will redownload and procceed to load the AT&T ROM again if you ever decide to use the WDRT to re-flash your phone.
The Command below will change the product code of your phone from the AT&T product code, to the T-Mobile US Product Code.
Code:
thor2 -mode uefiflash -ffufile "C:\Lumia\RM-1073\RM1073_02177.00000.15203.26115_RETAIL_prod_signed_1001_023F70_TMO-US.ffu" -productcodeupdate 059X0P7 -skip_flash

Thanks Anubis23 it worked great I was able to successfully install T-Mobile ROM
I am almost sure, still confirming, I can flash any Lumia 640 LTE version ROM, right ? even India ROM ?
Thanks..worked beautifully and very easy to do
As far I know, any single sim variant, I am not sure if dual sim would work based on other threads based on the non att version. You can flash RM-1072 and RM-1073 Rom from any country.
Worked great thanks!
Is there a method to debrand the Lumia 830 from AT&T?
Thanks for your excellent post. I have already upgraded my att&t Lumia 640 to windows 10 build 10586.63. Will I have to restore 8.1 before implementing your steps?
Can you have the three cab files for one Nokia Lumia 1520 AT & T?
Thank you.

I think you can flash only single SIM variant.
I was not able to flash RM-1024 Global swap rom on ATT Lumia. Other RM-1024 ROM worked for me even then I was not able to get LTE Band # 3.
I do not think there is Single SIM LTE variant of Lumia 640 in India.
Only DUAL SIM 3G,
DUAL SIM XL 3G
DUAL SIM XL LTE were launched in India.

Thank you for information. Could you please refer me to link which will have all product codes of Lumia 640. Also let me know exactly which CV Rom you have flashed successfully. Is 2G only mode selectable in that ? and any 4G Indian band support ?
I appreciate your hard work and I am going to get an AT&T Lumia 640 this weekend to try it out. I wanted to ask, after flashing the 3 phone cabs, do I then change the product code to T-Mobile and then flash the T-Mobile rom using WDRT?
I see in the steps that the last process I needed to do was to make sure to change the product code so WDRT didn't redownload the AT&T image. I just wasn't sure if the steps were to flash the 3 cabs, flash T-Mobile rom with WDRT, then change product code; or flash the 3 cabs, change product code, flash T-Mobile rom with WDRT, then change product code again.
I apologize as I am new to flashing Lumia roms.
Thank you for any assistance.

Following from my previous post I have successfully de-branded my at&t lumia 640 and installed windows 10 build 10568.63.
Carried out steps 1-8 OK
Step 9 didn't work, ignored that.
My phone had a Product code of "RM-1073", using WPInternals I found it has a Platorm Name of "Nokia.MSM8926.P6204.1.1", from Navifirm+ I found a ROM for Australia with Product Code "RM-1074" so I downloaded the ffu file and using HxD was able to confirm it has the same Platform Code.
I then successfully flashed ROM "RM1074_02166.00000.15103.05002_RETAIL_prod_signed_1015_01EABB_000-AU.ffu" using the steps shown for flashing T-Mobile US ROM.
Have now updated to Windows 10 build 10568.63 and everything appears OK.
Thanks anubis23, excellent post, donation on the way.
I earlier used to download many flashes with Nokia DataPackage manager. But since last week it always says login error.
Thank you very much. I have sucess changing from ATT to EU rom. (also from RM-1073 to RM-1072) :good:

Thanks for the tips. But I can't find Ascend Mate 7 product model on the list. What is the model of yours?
I'm thinking to buy AM7, but I want to make sure that I can root and install custom rom later, before buying it.

Yes, you have to flash back to the factory recovery and then update. After this, re-root it again.

well done!
Now we're waiting for a custom ROM
I've unlocked my phone successfully this way and rooted it. But then i had to flash stock recovery again cause if not, OTA upgrades doesn't work at all. Worse : factory reset makes ur Emui rom look totally different after reboot (basic look, no theming, ugly...)
So when i put stock recovery back and factory reset, it looked like before.
But i didn't need to root again.

Is it configurable to receive other Global CDMA networks apart from the Verizon's?
I don't konw!
Maybe with the DFS tool, but doubt there is much info or a guide for that particular model, if it is possible. It's not a common thing and typically the kind of people who figure that kind of thing out are going to be working on more popular models.
I bought one recently and although I'm not sure if it will work with global gsm networks.... I was able to make it recognize a USA t-mobile sim card. By simply adding the correct APN settings.
Trying to save my Galaxy J320VPP Verizon
Hi, yesterday I tried to install a Patch to enable GSM in a CDMA Global phone like appears in the next link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394689 but I couldn't install it because I don´t have the option in the boot menu to install it without signature verification, so when I installed the Patch appears:
E: Signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
I suppose first we have to root the Galaxy J3 to open the extended boot menu were it has to appear the option to install the Patch, and finally we have to unlock it to use with other companies. There is a link to a forum about asking for help about rooting the phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/help-root-galaxy-sm-j320vpp-android-6-0-t3421298
If someone could do that or do something to unlock the phone and use it on GSM network, please save us!!

No Working this root
Alright, a little bit of update...
I've managed to unpack and repack an tar.md5 file, and flash it through my phone with success. My biggest problem now is to find a way to unpack boot.img or recovery.img, and repack it without breaking it.
Can't find a way to do it properly. When I unpack the img and repack it imediatly without touching to anything the size of the image changes.... Odin won't flash it again after that. If I find a way to unpack and repack properly I think we will be on a good way to get root.
I'm a huge noob with these things tho so idk when I'll be able to fully understand the structure of a boot.img file...
If anyone is ready to help me out with this, I'll be happy to give my skype or smothing...
Have a nice day
Hello,
I would like to buy this smartphone, i like the dual screen concept.
But i live in France and i need 800 (b20), 1800, 2100 and 2600 bands (b7).
I would like to know if you bought this smartphone at banggood shop recently? If yes, please let me know what models did you received?
Because there are 3 models of this smartphone: 201, 205 and 206.
The 201 was the first one built in Russia in 2014.
Now this smartphone is built in China with 2 news models since March 2015 called 205 (for European market with all bands) and 206 for chinese market (without b20).
Thank you very much.
Under the BG QA section it states that it is the 206.
I bought from Banggood and it's 206.
Hi, I have a 201 made in China in 2016, shipped from the Netherlands.
I bought it from Coolicool EU stock, it is still available.
Poor CS from Banggood
Buyers Beware: Elephone P5000 developed faulty battery whilst still in warranty. CSBanggood informed. Advised us to return phone, which we did. Now being ignored by customer service.
Have been regular customers with Banggood for a few years and told CS about fault whilst in warranty. Then returned the phone following their instructions... And waited and waited and waited... Currently being ignored over a phone that they are in their rights to return to elephone. Consider purchasing from other suppliers...

Hi, I bought from Banggood (October 9) and received a 206 (November 4 - 4 weeks to Australia).
I was able to flash OS to 202 RU (with the patient help of people on this forum), still only the Chinese bands of course.
I can say that it did come with the full retail box including earphones etc which were not included in the product description...
Good Luck with your decision!

You said that updated to 202RU? Did you mean 201? Is LTE works after update? Can you please explain how did you update or which
guide did you use?

Actually I can't be sure (I live in a rural area) it's only showing 3G at present. My telephone company is supposed to use 1800 but the phone hasn't connected at this yet!

So i followed multiple advice here on the forum:
I had a major problem getting the computer (an old XP) and yotaphone_flasher software to see the phone.
Eventually I found that manually updating the USB drivers in Device Manager worked (by right-clicking on each driver and selecting Update from the drop-down menu) - after hours of frustration...
1/ I downloaded the latest chinese firmware CN/4.4.3-S01-003-CN1.0.3.32a.zip and this russian firmware: RU/5.0.0-RU1.1.124.zip.
2/ I extracted the Radio Folder from the Chinese zip, expanded the Russian one and replaced the Radio folder there with the Chinese version.
3/I placed the expanded/modified Russian firmware Program files/yotaphone/firmware
4/I rebooted the phone in Download mode by holding the down & power buttons down (after choosing restart) until the Downloading text appeared.
5/I ran yotaphone_flasher.exe and followed the prompts, using the cd command to navigate to the firmware folder.
The installer proceeded with the error reported elsewhere: something like "cannot load sytem.img"
Wait for the installer to finish loading the rest of the files then follow VirtuaLeech's instructions:
- After YotaFlash is finished your phone will reboot and still be in a bootloop
- Put your phone in download mode again. Just keep holding power and volume down.
- Now go into the command prompt on your computer and navigate to the YotaFlash folder (for me it is in C:\Program Files (x86)\yotaphone_flasher)
- Now type the following command with your phone still in download mode: fastboot flash -S 512M system firmware/system.img This will flash the failed system.img in multiple parts.
- After the flashing of the system partition is finished reboot your phone with the command: fastboot reboot
After this your phone will restart. It may take around 10 minutes to finish and if everything went right the Android unlock screen should appear.

Thank you for explanation. As I understand that system.img flashing issue appears because the YotaPhone rooted before update. Was your phote rooted when you're updated it?

No not rooted.
My limited understanding was the issue is with available PC memory for the installer (my PC is ancient). Or perhaps the size of replacement system file is larger than what is being overwritten? It is common here on the forum...
NOTE-1:
I'm not a developer or something even near to that. All information provided here is copied from different internet sources like this & this & this and many others.
It's according to best of my knowledge and I'll not be responsible for any harm to you or your device. It works perfectly for me. You may try it on your own risk.
Save / backup your data before continuing. Whole device will be wiped.
NOTE-2:
If you have a custom recovery, install Stock ROM (v2.1.0.13 or v2.1.0.12) instead.
If you don't have a custom recovery, you may get one here or here.
If your device is bricked and can't boot into recovery or bootloader mode (read here what it is), proceed.
NOTE-3:
Given firmware link is v2.1.0.13 for device 059V782. There are some variants of Nokia X2DS (other product codes) which were officially updated from 2.1.0.11 to 2.1.0.12, so they dont support version 2.1.0.13.
Make sure your device supports 2.1.0.13 by googling your product code (written on back of device, see by removing back cover) or you may get in trouble. In case if you need 2.1.0.12, download it from some other link and follow the instructions given here.
NOTE-4:
Hard-bricked devices (with no buttons working, no Download Mode) may also be recovered by this method but with a slightly different procedure.
QFIL can also be used instead of NCS, but NCS feels a kinda little bit official way
REQUIREMENTS:
A PC with Windows and uninterrupted power supply. (I used Dell Inspiron 15R with Windows 8.1 and 10).
A USB data cable.
Fully charged phone, soft-bricked at maximum i.e. no recovery, no boot accessible
STEPS:
Download and Install NCS to your PC.
Copy UserGroupsConfiguration.cfg to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nokia\Nokia Care Suite\Product Support Tool For Store 5".
Download Firmware and extract to "C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\RM-1013".
Launch NCS > Product Support Tool for Store 5.
At Sign-In screen, click Work Offline.
Disable Automatic Product Selection.
Go to File > Open Product and select RM-1013.
Click Programming > Recovery. Downloaded Firmware must be listed there.
Click Start and follow instructions. DO NOT INTERRUPT FLASHING PROCESS OR IT MAY HARD BRICK YOUR PHONE LEAVING IT USELESS.
Wait a few minutes and done. You have a newly purchased phone in your hands if all goes well.
Thanks for making a proper post for this.:good:

You followed instructions 100%? Install NCS from my given link. It contains all necessary drivers including Emergency Driver. Use some other USB port on your PC. Try reinstalling NCS or try on different PC / different OS. You may also try QFIL if NCS doesn't work.

Good. I suggested you to use QFIL already For me, both NCS and QFIL work but I didn't try any other product code firmware except 059V782 which is my device code.
What's your product code? 059V787 or 059V782? I'm gonna add a warning to my thread about this.
There are some devices which were officially updated from 2.1.0.11 to 2.1.0.12, so they don't support 2.1.0.13 as per my understanding.

NEW Instructions: Dated July 10th 2018
Should work on all Snapdragon USA/Canada models (ATT , verizon, sprint, tmobile tc) Tested on S8+ and S8, should work on Note 8 if you have right files. S9 switched to a different CSC format, so it's not possible to use this method for S9 models.
Keep your Jio/Any other VoLTE enabled indian carrier SIM in the phone all along.
Check your Bootloader version first (Download matching files only)
(Identify your bootloader version > Go to Settings > About phone > Baseband version under software info should show something like G955USQU4CRE9 The fourth number from right is your bootloader version. If you try to flash any lower version (BL 3 to BL 2), ODIN will fail and phone will show Fused 3 binary 2 error. So, choose the file versions matching your bootloader. You can go higher but not lower. Means BL 2 can be flashed with BL 3 or 4 but not with 1 (most of the times).
1.Back up your data using Samsung smart switch or any other means (save whatsapp chats to google in settings)
2.Flash matching stock firmware (On unzipping stock FW, you'll get AP, CP,BL and CSC files. Use Odin to flash them) (Don't flash User data file if it's there in extracted files)
Recommended Odin https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/patched-odin-3-13-1-t3762572
Please find latest stock roms on Updato website
S8+ models
CRE2 for BL version 1, 2,3
or CRE9 for BL 4
S8 models
CRE2 for BL 1,2,3 or CRE9 for BL4
Note 8 models
BL 1,2,3 or CRE1 for BL4
3. Download sec_omc.zip specific to your model
INS OMC Dec 2018 version for s8+ or For Note 8 or For S8
4. Download and unzip combination rom (You'll get a file ending in tar.md5) (Matching file only)
For s8+ models or Mirror, Another mirror with BL5 files
Another for BL5
For s8 Models or
another mirror for S8
Note 8 combination files or Mirror or BL 4 version BL5 version
If you want updated combination files of the same models, search on xda or shell.boxwares.com or firmware.gem-flash.com yourself before asking others.
5. Open Odin (princecomsy version) and click on AP, choose the file you extracted in step 4
6. Put your phone in download mode (hold the Power button, Volume Down button, and the Bixby button until Download mode screen is seen. Press Vol up to confirm).
7.Connect your phone to PC. You should see "Added" in log of Odin and see a com port appearing on top left.
8) Click on start tab. If everything goes well, you'll see "PASS" on top left. Let it boot to Factory binary once.
9) Boot your phone to recovery mode (hold the Power button, Volume up button, and the Bixby button until samsung screen is seen).
10) Install "minimal ADB fastboot" program on PC, Copy the sec_omc.zip to your minimal ADB folder on computer (under program files on C drive).
Double click cmd-here.exe in that folder.
11) Connect your phone to your computer with your USB cable and in phone select Apply update via ADB in recovery screen (Navigate with vol bottons and select with Power btn).
12) On ADB window on PC type "adb devices" without quotes. Next line should show a device attached
If seen, type "adb sideload sec_omc.zip" without qoutes. It'll start transferring the file.. check mobile screen it'll install itself. (you might see some errors)
13) Once your phone reboots, you will see an "IME" button on the bottom). Tap on it and type *#243203855#
14) On resulting window, if you see INS in the list, click over it and click install and select full customisation.
15 Your phone will reboot to the 'factory binary homescreen', go to ADB on your computer and type in "adb shell".
16) Type in echo "INS" > /efs/imei/mps_code.dat (Please make note of the space between " and > and /)
You won't get any confirmation.
17) Now flash the full Stock firmware matching your bootloader via ODIN (BL, AP, CP, CSC files (not home csc)
18) After the flashing, phone will reboot. Don't setup any accounts yet. Boot to recovery and select "apply update via ADB" (Like step 11)
19) Sideload the CSC zip (similar to step 12) and let it reboot.
20) On reboot, you should see INS/INS/xxx under software info (xxx is your factory csc version) and VoLTE icon should appear.
Possible glitches
1. Phone app force closing
Reflash AP BL CP only excluding CSC
Install OMC zip via adb
2. Messaging app FC
Install S9 sms app or google messaging
2. Sprint OMADM app needs to be removed to avoid annoying notification or change notifications to low priority
To remove via ADB, turn on usb debugging
type in adb shell
you should see a dollar sign.
next type in pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.sec.omadmspr
it should say success.
If you want to extract OMC zip for a different model device, watch this video.
https://youtu.be/giD7nP4Oue4
The file needed to extract is attached to this post (omc extract)
Thanks to @jrkruse for the idea of flashing CSC zip from exynos to snapdragon

Update: now Possible to stick to stock with INS CSC.
No. There are no custom roms for US models. Soon we might get modified stock versions but all will involve Rooting first then every rom will be flashed via Flashfire only.
So we have to give up Spay etc that depend on Knox.

Mine is 8+.
Make sure you have a jio sim inserted during the process.
Anyway.. try this zip with Only INS CSC in it (previous one had XAA-usa unlocked CSC also) and report.
If that does not work, try the attached zip (Worked with s7/note 5).
Let me know which one worked.
thanks.

There's a chance once devs get a way of flashing custom builds of stock and then flash normal boot instead of engg boot after unrooting (like s7 edge).
They are still working on it. If they come up with a method... I'll try to provide an updated zip that supports such rom.(they'll be stock modified roms)
cant follow instructions

Now that root is available, We can install S8 india CSC and get VoLTE on USA-Snapdragon sim unlocked phones.
First root with the help of this thread till Part 1
Then during part 2, instead of "Add CSC Systemroot" file, use the modified file with India and XAA-USA CSC
This will flash INS CSC along with XAA CSC. This zip was made by @jrkruse for US carriers... I've just added INS CSC to it and removed other US carriers stuff.
Or.. If you just want Indian CSC Use this file (no XAA) https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-Kp4aJsfti2NFhFR2NtRHc3ajA
Download only one of the 2 files please..
Order in flashfire should be Wipe > System.img.ext4 > QG2_ADD_INS_CSC_SYSTEMROOT.zip
It might take a few seconds to acquire signal. if not, try toggling aeroplane mode off and on, then see.
VoLTE is working for me. (I have a sprint version of s8+)
If still fails, make sure you have Jio Sim in the phone while you are doing this procedure.
Credit goes to respective thread owners to whom i linked (Root team and jrkruse).

If you are new to this, find a friend near by who can do it for you. This is not a first timer's job.

You need experience in doing such stuff buddy. Not worth it if some thing goes wrong. If you can't follow the steps, i would say leave it.
