Problems and update for Blade a460 - Blade General

I've got my brand new zte blade a460 two months ago. Just a good mid-low budget phone. It has a Snapdragon 210 (msm8909), and Android 5.1 (kernel 3.10.41, compilation EIG-ES-QB18S-A460 V1.0.3, hardware P890A20.H01)
I have some problem with the OS (sound, icons, wallpaper, sim desconection). I wrote to zte support and it seems, according with the answer, they are doing nothing on OS update for this phone.
My question is: could I update my phone with rom and cwm developed for another phone with the same chip (Snapdragon 210), as Huaweii Honor4a?

[Q] [Request] Custom rom for Changjiang S1

I'm using this phone for a while, but since it is made in China and lack supports
It is still in 2.3.x branch, which contains some known security issues
So, I'd like to know how to build a custom rom for it, my friend told me Slim is one of the most stable custom ROM on the run, and fits my minimaist style, can you give me some advice?
P.S. I've been looking into many Chinese sites, but still I can't get the full list of device tree
EDIT: seems it is a mtk6516 CPU with dual SIM
it has some different model names:
Meizu G11
Chianjing A007 or V7
found some maybe useful specs.

Higher possibilities for custom rom now?

Phone released in Europe now. Waiting for mine, should be here within a few days. Do you think there will be any custom roms available soon, or at all?
Just made a quick search online and can't find any, and also read that it's against the rules here on xda to link to them in that case? How come?
maybe if Huawei or Honor release source code with binary.. without i thing is impossible or very very complicated, but we are waiting..
If you want to run aosp based roms like CyanogenMod then Honor/Huawei is a pretty bad choice.
Better get a Qualcomm powered phone.
it is a HiSilicon Kirin 935 CPU working. The CPU-Code is absolutely unknown for the moment! No Code = No possibility to get a custom rom!
Or did you know any other Kirin smartphone with a running custom rom on it???
There were a number of custom roms for huawei P6 (released 2013, i owned one) for sure. But not into custom roms, so not sure what was the progress with honor 6 (2014, owned it) and Honor 6 plus on custom roms. Could go through Mate 7, and P8 forums as well.
Possible if searching through Chinese websites might find MIUI 6 for honor 7 or something of that sort.

Opengl 3.2 and Vulkan support?

Greetings to all,
I saw this phone on a sale for about 175$ and I have to say, for the hardware (snapdragon 821, 64gb, 4b of ram) I think it is a very good price, but I´m doing some reading and this phone comes with android 6 and vulkan support comes with Nougat.
I would like to know is there´s a custom rom for this phone than enables opengl 3.2 and vulkan support.
Also I saw some threads like this one :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/cr...eno-vulkan-drivers-snapdragon-t3555141/page20
In that thread some people modified the adreno drivers so that they can be installed on any phone with a snapdragon 820/21 chipset and get vulkan support, this method could work on this phone?
and lastly, the phone I saw was the usa edition, what is the last official rom for that model?, and the bootloader can be unlocked?
Thanks in advance for the help.

You will NOT get better hardware for the price. The only concern I would have is getting it replaced if it ever breaks within the warranty period. LeEco is under hard times right now. However, for the price I would not be concerned.
The bootloader on the USA version is super easy to unlock. This will not be a problem.
Custom ROMS. There are several really good ones using Nougat. They are rock solid and have great performance. AICP and Omni are two of the more popular ones. OREO is also in the works for the phone, so expect a ROM with that OS in the future.
Last official version of stock OS on USA model is 21s, but you can install any of the other stock ROMS from international versions of the phone.
There are multiple rock solid Nougat ROMS which means you will get Vulkan support.
Buy the phone!
Could you provide a link for $175?
Well, I took the plunge and recently received the phone in my country, After using it a few days I got to say that I´m in love with it.
I installed lineage on it and after that I installed the blackscreen kernel to overclock the phone to 2.4 ghz and tweak the performance a little, indeed with the Lineage rom open gl 3.2 and vulkan becomes avalaible and the performance of the phone
it´s like night and day compared to the stock kernel that came with it.
For the price I paid to get this kind of hardware it´s definitly a bargain, I heartily recommend this phone but only to the people that are willing to flash a custom rom on it, because leaving this phone in the stock kernel is a crime to the 821 snapdragon that comes with it.

[ZTE-A5-2020] Build bloatware-free android version from sources

Hi guys, first post, so there's a lot i don't know.
I somehow recently bought a phone, ZTE Blade A5 2020, but the ROM is full of bloatware from the provider, which is a pain and also i would like to have a clean android version with the minimal level of extras, so I've been reading about building an AOSP based ROM for my device. Indeed i need drivers so i already found them at opensource.ztedevices.com where they gently give it. So, my question, from this point what should i do? i have no idea of the contents of that file, but i do know there is drivers folder. Is this something i can build and then flash? or do i need to build the AOSP using this drivers?
is just bothering that somebody took the time to fill the phones with garbage to make extra cash.
thanks for the help
ZTE blade A5 2019
do you think owners of a "ZTE blade A5 2019" can use that PIE KERNEL too?
I give the direct-click link the the pie-kernel for ZTE blade A5 2019 here: directlink
maybe we gotta diff them both. my blade runs kernel 4.4.147+ so the other might not apply.

AOSP, in a Galaxy Prime Core?

What are the files I need to turn a old phone into a phone with a modern Android?
We have a Galaxy Prime Core & want to update it, it has LTE so why not update & use.
This phone was released 2014, November, hence 8 years old. It's powered by a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon CPU.
According to OEM It's upgradable to Android 5.1.1.
If you find a Custom Recovery ( like TWRP ) suitable to the phone, and if you find a Custom ROM that matches the phone's specs, then you can try to upgrade to an Android version other than the pre-installed one.
