Please help me out with radio question.. I'm kinda lost

Hi
I just bought a Leo T8585. I just found out from reading the forum, that this version only connects to 3G with frequencies at 900 and higher.
The problem is, my provider's 3G band is on the 850 frequency. Now, I've read that the model T9193 is the only one able to connect at 3G with that frequency, but I just can't afford to spend another $700
My question is, can I flash a Radio that works 3G at the 850 band to a T8585?
If so? can someone PLEASE point me out to the right one?
I've been reading a lot here, and I now learned how to flash my Leo, and I think I have everything to get ready, only thing missing is that I don't know the right radio to flash, or a cooked rom? what are my options?
My Leo has the following:
ROM: 1.66.707.1 (76641) WWE
Radio: 2.06.51.07
I have this blasting headache from reading so much and I can't believe I saved some money to buy the phone and it won't work with 3G
Thanks so much in advance for giving me a hand here.
Although there have been rumors that the radio could be flashed, these have so far no grounding in reality. You cannot flash your radio to support ATT 3G.
you can flash the radio no problem, but it wont make any difference.
Sorry man, but do your research. Everywhere it is clearly stated the bands, and you should know what is provided. Put down that 1000 for the other version if you want 3G so bad, or live with it, and use the money to buy a lifetime supply of advil to help that headache!
Rhanks for the answers guys. I just came to the hard reallity.
Guess I will have to sell this one and get the australian version.
Seems to me anyway really stupid from htc to make a cell phone wich only would connect to the highest speed on certain frequencies.
But then again, I don't know about this stuff.
Thans for the replies.

its to help fight grey imports. Otherwise people would only buy the one that is cheapest around teh world and have it imported, destroying the home market.

SAR of the nexus 6p

I got the following values from phonearena
are these legit? Because these seems very high ... almost close to the limit.
Head 1.49 W/kg
Body 0.81 W/kg
Product Specific Use 1.44 W/kg
Simultaneous Transmission 1.56 W/kg
USA figures
On an Indian website I see its mentioned as 1.18 W/kg
Sorry for the figures i posed they are north american . limit being 1.60
the phone should have the same SAR test regardless if its in India or North America. so which one is the real test result? there needs to be an accurate test done.

i found this on wiki, so i think you're right. now we just need some independent lab results:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Specific_absorption_rate#Mobile_phone_SAR_testing said:
United States: the FCC requires that phones sold have a SAR level at or below 1.6 watts per kilogram (W/kg) taken over the volume containing a mass of 1 gram of tissue that is absorbing the most signal.
European Union: CENELEC specify SAR limits within the EU, following IEC standards. For mobile phones, and other such hand-held devices, the SAR limit is 2 W/kg averaged over the 10 g of tissue absorbing the most signal (IEC 62209-1).
India: switched from the EU limits to the US limits for mobile handsets in 2012. Unlike the US, India will not rely solely on SAR measurements provided by manufacturers; random compliance tests are done by a government-run Telecommunication Engineering Center (TEC) SAR Laboratory on handsets and 10% of towers. All handsets must have a hands free mode.

Regardless. The values are pretty high!

Test results in the United States, should match the test results in india or anywhere else in the world, it is after-all... the same exact phone the testing is being done on. the results should match no matter where you bring the phone to. If any of you have any other test results performed independently, please do share !
let me ask this - if these numbers are solid, is it going to prevent you from buying the phone?

For me, and a few others I know Yes it will prevent them from buying the phone.
I had blackberry phones with high sar rates like the ones listed in the first post, and when talking on the phone .. it would heat up vs my note 3 .
So yes some people actually do look at SAR before purchasing
Checked the FCC for the tests done on the Nexus 6p. See the reports for "exposure" if you're interested. It does list various values for radiation.
FCC Link
Hi, can anyone look into manual and tell me what is the SAR value of Nexus 6P (European version), please ?
I canĀ“t find it on the internet.
Thank you very much!

Sound (reduced volume) since May update

So,
I have a theory that may be supported by the official announcement by Miui here:
http://en.miui.com/thread-2730552-1-1.html
There are two models of the A1: MDI2 (India) & MDG2 (Global), I understood the only difference was the MDG2 has more bands (eg It has B20 I need in UK) that are not needed in India.
I think also the MDI2 is marked "made in India" and MDG2 is marked "made in China".
My MDG2 (64GB Black) has never been affected by low volume (or hissing for that matter)
The official statement says "Special tuning has been introduced to deliver a better experience for Indian users", this suggests the change was aimed at the MDI2 only, I open this poll to see who is affected.
I added Custom ROMs in case the two models have different hardware
made in china, mdg2: affected by low volume.
this is honestly so annoying...
Purchased in India. No hissing after may update.
Version MDI2

I have the MDG2, made in China, volume is affected.
I have the same issue and it's really annoying. I think that we are not reading the annoucment correctly. Probably only the third paragraph is for Indian customers - I think they mean that all devices are affected (the first two paragraphs are for everyone) and the Indian version has even more "tuning" (the last paragraph is only for it)
Lower volume, but max volume is still high enough to drive all my headphones (I'm not going above ~70% of max volume). Hissing has been improved. I'm happy with the change.

Does the S10+ Snapdragon version works in Europe?

Hi there, I really want to get the SD instead of Exynos... I see clear advantages to it.
So the 2 main questions are,
How do you get a SD if you live in Europe?
Will the phone signal work?
Thank you!
As long as the phone is unlocked and has the necessary bands for your carrier then it will work
So far I was able to find the SD version only on EBAY. Sellers look very reputable with more than 10k positive reviews and they ship from China apparently. I just ordered one so will let you know my experience (512 GB version, black).
The majority, if not all, of the EMEA has full GSM coverage.
So, depending on your region, you'll certainly have connectivity but it all depends on what bands your carrier offers.
From my experience, 2G/3G/3.5 (UMTS) bands are plentiful.
On 4G, some carriers only have one compatible band whereas others have 5 or more.
