Original recovery.img? - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I was playing with rooting my 6P and didn't back up my recovery.img (I was just following a guide, that didn't mention it, at the time, I didn't consider it..)
Anyone know where I can download the original? Build number is MDB08L
Thank you

Download the factory image from Google. It will include the recovery.img inside the download.

Need 4.1.1 stock kernel broken mic USB

I need to flash the stock kernel on my I9020t running 4.1.1 so I can update to 4.1.2. My micro usb is broken on my phone, so adb flashing is out of the question. I have searched for several days, but my search although turns up results, the terms are so broad. Can someone please provide a link.

Hi, here you find old (and new) official Nexus S complete images or also just the OTA updates:
http://www.randomphantasmagoria.com/firmware/nexus-s/
Thanks for the link, unfortunately fastboot images nor the update zips will currently work for me. I imagine that I could, but I don't know how to, make a clockworkmod flashable kernel zip out of the fastboot image. I understand that I would need to extract boot from the image, but making it ready for cwm flashable is over my head.

Yes you have to download the complete fastboot image later you can extract only boot partition using 7zip.
Later read this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1875739
Download this custom kernel.zip and paste inside the stock boot, this will give the instruction to correctly flash the partition. At the end you can use CWM to flash this zip file. If I helped you just click thank button.
If that don't work, a last try could be to post your problem also here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1932832
Where we are talking about update from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 and there are a lot of people with a lot of experience (more than me).
I need one too..So if you find one post the link here

What's stopping you from downloading and flashing a 4.1.2 ROM?

Stock Nexus 10 Image?

I will be selling my nexus 10 soon and would like to flash back the stock Nexus 10 image. I did review the forum and did not find anything specific (sorry if I missed it). Can anyone link me to the factory image?
Thanks!

In review of that site, I just want to confirm that those can be flashed with CWM or would I need to use Odin?
Thanks again for the quick response!
*Edit: Looks like I may be able to use the Nexus10 toolkit to restore?
Yes you can use the toolkit.

I think you will have more luck in your device forum. This one is for the 2012 N7.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013
I had same issue. You can download factory image from google (you can download krt16s version and then ota or simply kot49h) and open it with winrar. Extract the zip file inside and then flash system.img using "fastboot flash system system.img". It will revert system partition to stock

No, recovery and root are different things. Download the root checker app from the playstore and check. TBH, OTA is a bit iffy, so best to backup data to an external place, then flash factory image.
Thanks for the suggestion mate.
I'll surely follow your advice.
Meanwhile can anyone please provide me KTU84P recovery image?

Most straight forward way to get hold of the recovery.img from KTU84P is to extract it from the factory image. Otherwise you need to look around xda for a download link.
same here buddy...
iam not getting that link only...
if u know then it would be a great help...

Stock Recovery

Hi all, I just bought a Mate 8 AL10, and it was unlocked and with TWRP. I want to return as stock as possible, but cannot install UPDATE.APP as long as I have custom recovery. Could anybody tell me where I can find one?
Thanks.
PS I am on Linux, cannot extract it with Huawei software.
Can't you use any other zip like 7z? If not I can probably fix it for you, I've got a virtual machine and spare time

As I said, cannot use HUE, I am on Linux, and as far as I can see it's a Windows only program, as HiSuite.

hey guys..
my device stucks at recovery even i used many recovery img but always stucks at TWRP..
B190 recovery images;
flash recovery recovery.img
flash recovery2 recovery2.img
and on the thread stock recovery;
flash recovery recovery-stock-mate8.img
but still stucks at TWRP..
Thanks for the stock recovery link
If your using the Huawei update extractor to extract stock recovery. Which do you need for stock recovery ? I see RECOVERY.img and RECOVERY2.img. Do i need to flash both ? Like so:
fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY.img
then
fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY2.img
Yes if u are using the Huawei one.
Or just the img from the link is enough

I'm on the mate 8 with B320. I tried the Stock recovery for B170, which didn't seem to work. So does that mean i need to flash both ?
Also wont the 2nd flash command override the first one if i flashed both ?
When recovery2 is flashed after recovery, it only override few things and not everything.
Alßo one stock recovery works for all same emui versions.
