This has happened before. I restart the device and it goes though the optimizing of apps then Xposed no longer works. I have stock root with elemental kernal. This happened to be before with stock kernal as well.

After updating my s4 to KitKat, I kept getting Random reboots.
I Installed "Samsung Kitkat SystemServer Crash Fix" as a workaround and happy with it.
My question is if I download 5.0.1, since xposed isn't officially supported with it yet, Has anyone else had the random rebooting issue anymore?
Thanks!
Have you tried to wipe cache and dalvik/ art ?

That module is only neccesary on some version of kitkat.
In Lollipop that issue is fixed.

Thanks! I'm trusting you one this one. Updating now
Omggg! Now it starts up and no more than 5 seconds. After flashing firmware with odin it seemed to be okay. I tried to connect kingo root to it but it never did anything thing. It was downloading files but when it said "waiting for file" (wouldn't reboot) i rebooted it manually and tried one more time.. the random rebooting started! I have tried reflashing the firmware again. I had to do the dalvik cache wipe to get it to boot properly. But now it's rebooting randomly.. so frustrating. I can't even do anything to stop it.
I tried booting into safemode, and it's still doing the same thing. I can see safemode is running. But after 5 seconds it restarts!
Please help!!!
Just letting everyone know that I tried flashing different versions for Lollipop, all with the same problem.
So I have reverted back to 4.4.4. with Xposed installed and the plugin to stop it from rebooting randomly.
Back to square one, but at least it's a working phone again.

That's because you CANNOT use Kingoroot. Kingoroot is only for old versions of Android. Kingoroot will never work on lollipop.
If you want to root, use CF-auto root. Then remove Knox.
The reboots are not caused by the firmware but by your own actions.
I'm using stock KitKat 4.4.4 ROM that is rooted and installed with Xposed framework. Factory reset doesn't work. I don't really want to reflash everything with stock rom becaus this seems to happen EVERY F*ING TIME the battery drains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I'm running stock rom on a Moto X Pure, unlocked bootloader. I can root fine, but when I install xposed (xposed-v75-sdk22-arm64) and restart, I get stuck in a constant loop where it boots, goes through optimizing my apps, then reboots, optimizes again, non-stop. I try running the xposed uninstaller, but no luck. The only thing that seems to fix it is re-imaging. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
I don't have this issue running SlimLP, only on the stock rom
Bump! Same problem here!
With xposed my phone gets stuck in bootloop almost every time I restart. But the funny thing is - it then boots up fine afterwards.
Upgrade to xposed-v78-sdk22-arm64 see if that helps

Suddenly getting a "no kernal support" notification in stweaks. Updated and rebooted still the same issue and it came out of nowhere, no changes made since it was fine...
Either you disabled root or the app has no root permissions.
After a reboot you have to wait a while before stweaks detects the kernel.
In the worst case scenario just reflash the kernel.
Hello together,
I'm using official RR ROM 7.0.2 on my G900F, until recently with latest tuned kernel. I suddenly got some random freezes with reboots without knowing the reason. Then after some crashes it resulted in a bootloop, meaning that the RR bootscreen is loading forever (already tested for hours).
Flashing RR ROM again fixed the issue completely, but when I flash tuned kernel again I immediately end in bootloop. Flashing boot.img of RR ROM once again fixes the problem. Then I tried Intelli-Kernel and it boots, however the first unlock screen is very laggy, system ui takes long time to load after unlock (after that it works normal) and I get here and then sudden reboots. After some crashes/reboots I end up with bootloop with Intelli-Kernel.
Once again: flashing boot.img of RR fixes all the problems.
It's unlikely that the kernels itself are at fault, as they are working for many others and also worked for my device until recently.
So why am I unable to use custom kernels suddenly and how can I fix it?
I'm grateful for any hints you can give to pinpoint the reason. I already asked in the kernel Telegram group but sadly they weren't able to help me.
- I'm clearing dalvik/cache every time,
- tried TWRP repair feature for /data partition
- and as far as I can say I removed all remands of boeffla config app, but even if there are some they should load after system boot so obviously kernel settings aren't applied when I stuck on boot screen.
I don't overclock but for the same reason it shouldn't matter even if I do.
If possible, I would like to avoid a full wipe.
Thanks in advance.
Have you tried backing up your entire phone, wiping and installing RR, letting it boot etc before rebooting to recovery and installing a custom kernel again? If that fails, then either the version of RR you are using is incompatible, or you have some sort of hardware failure somewhere.
