Sometimes manta shut down with 30% power left however it turns out no power left after reboot. Is this normal?
Thanks,

My battery had a full charge. I shut down the A7 (not standby), went to use it a day later and it wouldn't boot up.
Why would the battery drain while it's shut down? Anyone else experience this?
The only thing I can think of is the device was in sleep not shut down.
I have shut mine down after a full charge and then the next morning the full charge is still there.
If it keeps happening then something is wrong with the device.

Thanks, I am quite sure that I chose power off, but of course I'm not infallible.
I'm paying close attention (hold power button for 2 seconds, select "power off" not suspend), so I'll have to monitor the situation when I'm not using it as much.
By the way, last night after posting this thread, I shut off the Wifi and Bluetooth. I know those affect my phone's battery.
Does anyone else need to disable Wifi and Bluetooth? I don't recall it being in the manual.
Very bad bug, when i go bed and i leave my p6800 in charging i dont power off it,so when the tablet is fully charged the screen turn on and remains on until i wake up and turn off it manually with the standby button. So the screen remains on for about 4 hours per night! How can i do for automatically power of the screen when the tablet give tje allert that the battery is full recharged?
Did you try the screen timeout under settings>screen? As far as I can tell, it applies even when the device is plugged into a power source. I have similar practice as you but in the morning, my device would be charged and the screen off.

Yes, i have put the timeout to 15 seconds, but when the battery is full charged,my tablet rings and power on the display with the message that the battery is charged, i have wait 20 minutes, but the screen remains on. The only way to power off it, is by pressing the standby button wery boring, i am constricted to recharge my tablet from power off status ,in order to avoid this issue this is bad becouse i reiceive emergency calls during the night

Omg i dont was know this option, i have unchecked it and there was exactly described his function! "The tablet never go in standby during charge" . I am sure that this can fix the problem, i cant see for sure now becouse i have 80 % of charge, but i'll let you know tomorrow, i am sure that the problem was this thx so much
It looks like I have the issue that my screen won't turn on somethimes after being idle too long. It's also unclear whether my device is turned off or not. I always have to press all buttons and hold them till i get in the bootloader and then hit START to boot. And I notice my whole battery has drained completely.
Battery Suddenly Shutting Down Before 0% (Possible Solution)
Ok so after a bit of playing around I have seamed to rid of the battery cut off at 15% - 20% and so on.
As I was doing the battery reclab I noticed when I drained the battery and the phone would turn off, then restart the phone it would boot alittle then shut off. Then I'd plug it in with phone Off and the display would show an instant charging percentage of around 5% -10% -15% . I noticed the battery was not discharged to 0%.
What I did was boot into recovery and keept the screen on for as long as it needed till the battery really died and the screen turned off. I was surprised how much battery was left. Depending on your battery. It took me around 30min to die.
After that I then plugged it in to do a full charge with phone off.
Let battery die again boot back to recovery and keep screen on Antill screen shutoff.
Do full charge again.
Antill you see your battery shut off at normal 0%.
I did this twice. You may need to do it more depending on your battery state.
Give it a go. Who knows it may work for you.
Good luck

I had luck doing something similar in TWRP.
My issue is my battery still only reports about 75% or the capacity that it should.
Waiting for my replacement from Google.
I need a good battery in my phone and 75% in a "like new" replacement is not going to cut it.
When I charge my phone till a % for example 54% and then I disconnect the charger and use the phone, the phone's battery indicator shows 54% for 20-25 minutes and then it will go to 53,52,.... and so on. Tried calibrating but it can't fix.
I am on Stock ROM 8.1.0 and also if my battery is at 36% and I use it for 5-6 minutes and I think that now it should show 35% but it doesn't show but when I press lock button, then the battery indicator shows 35% immediately. It means that battery % updates more quickly by press lock button rather than while normal usage. I don't know whats the actual problem. Battery is fine, it gives 5-6hrs SOT. Please provide me a solution. ?
