USB-C Adapter - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm looking into adapters for my Nexus 6P. I found one on Amazon called Juiced Systems MBA-02SG and I was wondering if anyone has tried it or anything similar to see if it works.

Theres many threads here on this topic,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/accessories
You can read through them, and ask for opinions in one of them if you're still curious.
Thanks! Thread closed.

What is the BEST accessories site?

All right guys, I can now mod my phone anyway that I like thanks to these forums. But what I haven't found is a tested "definative" accessories site for the tilt/kaiser. I searched the threads and only found one mention of an accessories website, but it is for wholesalers (found here).
If anyone has any input, it would be greatly appreciated.
HELP THE NEWBS!!!
Did I mention I was a Newb
Well nevermind, I was able to answer my own question with better searching.
Here is the link to another thread started last year with some good links on it.

Sorry Mods!

Subforum suggestion...

Off Topic...
We need an off topic section (frankly we need one in every forum with a decent amount of traffic)
It'd be a great place to ask opinions on things (like I want to ask for peoples opinions on the new Windows Phone 7 in depth preview and how the OS looks ON ITS OWN (doesn't stack up to Android IMO because well...it's too damn closed) etc...but I can't ask that here because some blowhard will cry about it being off topic and then some mod will lock it...and I will die a little inside (joke)
but yea...dunno who to speak to about this but I feel since a lot of us on here do wish to speak about relatively off topic things it'd keep traffic in the Nexus specific forums more on topic and give us a place to just...chit chat a bit....
but yea...just a well thought out and respectable super duper awesome OMG how can he be so cool kinda suggestion I thought I'd try and get across...
feel free to opine.
There is already an off-topic section. If you want opinions on windows phone 7, may i suggest the Windows Phone 7 general section...here

so in other words you didn't read what I wrote?
I like this idea because it would be nice to have the off-topic discussion limited to other nexus one owners. Honestly, I don't think this will happen though.

Sigh...Then what's the point of the existing off-topic forum? This is a Nexus One forum, where people talk about Nexus One related stuff, not a Nexus One USER forum. If you want to talk about certain things like WP7 or HD2 etc. go to that specific forum.
Going with your logic, let's say one day every nexus one user wants to talk about the HD2, so there should be a HD2 sub-forum under the Nexus One forum? really?
I know what you're trying to say, and i would love to have a place where nexus one owners talk about random stuff too =) but it probably won't happen because of what i said above.
It's a fair comment I think, comparing/looking at other topics from a viewpoint of a N1 owner.
Wouldn't need a forum for every phone, just a 'oddbits' subforum.
Or a bit more relaxing of the rules in QnA forum perhaps?

Except I didn't suggest a WP7 forum. I suggested a general off topic forum...meaning anything from Aardvark's to Zion can be discussed there. We wouldn't need a separate sub-forum for each and every discussion.

Like I said I know what you mean, the mods will never approve of this tho.
This forum already has too many sub sections as it is.
I'm sorry, I fail to understand what you are asking for, how is your request any different from the already existent General Discussion Forum? Which contains an "Off-topic" sub-forum.
Care to clarify your request? Or explain how the already existent "Off-topic" forum does not meet your requirements?

Okay...I use Nexus...People here use Nexus
Sometimes I, as a Nexus user would like to know what others, who also use a Nexus, think of certain things that are not related to the Nexus One...
Creating a severely off topic thread in the N1 forum results in a close...so to alleviate this pressing concern of mine, I suggested an off topic random sub forum here so anyone can discuss anything thereby probably cleaning up the other segments since a lot of random OT stuff gets thrown haphazardly around in both General and Q&A.

Mobile Broadband dongles

I have seen a post on the forum Folio100 about using 3G modems.
Here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=914350
Could someone, with some knowledge, test and possibly make it work on our vega/pov?
That could be a massive improvement to this tablet if someone can make 3g dongles work.
Thanks!
There is already a thread asking pretty much the same thing, you probably posted in the right section. I see you are a new user so probably unaware of the rules. Please search before posting, adding multiple threads asking the same question just clogs up are great forum.
Mod please Delete one of these threads the other is in rom development.
ooops. I dind't see it. my bad

quick questions

HI all,
I have a Q from a Developer Friend and looking to root it and get some more functionality. Without hours of reading can you point me to the most used extra functionality rom.
I was also wondering if I can use the Q's amp function as play through for my other components. Was hoping not to have to buy an A/V receiver but just an hdmi switcher with audio.

there aren't really any roms that I'm aware of - most of us are rooting and just running a tweaked version of the existing OS
only rom I know of is not really complete but here it is:

Best reference for hacking this thing I've found is here:

As far as your other question - I'm not sure
BTW you will want to buy a OTG cable, a usb hub

It was a Dev question not a,"how do i power it on question". Good thing you're keeping these massive forums cleaned.

Nexus HSPA+ root without data loss?

Hi,
Is it possible to root my Nexus HSPA+ without wiping or losing my data?
I've got standard Android 4.2.1 version.
Thank you!
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
In order to root.. You must unlock the bootloader. (this process also wipe all data including dats in the sd card). I think there's no way you can root without losing data. You can always backup. Chill

Thanks.
By all data you mean including os itself?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
User data and sdcard will be wiped.
Beamed from my Grouper.
Ok, so including OS I guess...
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
No you will keep the os

I don't think you need to keep redirecting everyone to that forum. This is the third time I've seen you post the same comment in various threads.
While some posts that are strictly related to the 3G model might be better served being posted there, I disagree that this thread has any merit. First, it has nothing to do with the 3G/HSPA+ model, outside of the OP happening to own that one. The answer is the same either way, and is about the Nexus7 in general. His question, which has been asked/answered numerous times, is very generic and has nothing to do with the 3G model or functionality. Second, that forum is for "Nexus 7 3G Android Development", not General or Q/A posts. IMHO, it shouldn't be littered with stupid questions that have nothing to do with the 3G model. If the OP had posted his question about the Wi-Fi version in the standard "Nexus 7 Android Development" forum, people would have told him to post it in the General or Q/A forum instead, as it doesn't belong there either. So I think, outside of the fact that the OP should have searched before posting, the Q/A forum was the proper choice.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we have a 3G dedicated forum, and I appreciate the fact that you seem to have taken the lead on maintaining it. I would just prefer it to be filled with useful threads.

I'm not offended...
My title is Recognized Contributor, not leader.
I'm not leader for something, I just want to help the members of the N7 3G+
It's for it that it's better for the moment to concentrate all discussions in this thread.
And it's not only for the development subject, it's for all discussions, solutions and problems
I know that it's the only thread for the time being. But I try to persuade the Admins to create an another one sub-forum which is especially for Questions and Answers (Q&A).
That's why, I redirecting all subjects for this thread. It's not for the pleasure.
Don't forget that when you are a Junior member or new user, you want to see all in one thread, and not in a lot of threads
On this subject, I wanted to thank you for all help that you bring by all of your answers.

Gotcha. Maybe it would be better if the admins changed the name of the existing sub-forum to "Nexus 7 3G General and Development" to help move more people to there then. Because right now, it's only a handful of development related topics. And I know that many people, myself included, would be reluctant to post general or Q/A type posts in that sub-forum instead of one of the generic "Nexus7" ones.
