Hey all im having intermitted signal issues ever since upgrading to lollipop running jasmine rom 6.1 with firmware version N900VVRUEOF1. Its been about 3 months now but to make a long story short my data and cell signal goes completely out intermediately and the only way to get it back is restarting, shutting down the phone, ( by taking the batter out) 30+ times! I need a solution, anyone else having this problem?
Is there a way to go back to my orginal build kitkat with bajarom? I heard flashing the modem back to mje could work? Thanks for any help in advanced

Hi all. Long time listener..first time caller.
I have an i337m Canadian S4 variant, running AOSB v.1.3.1 (CM11 based), with the latest OTA modem available at the moment to us unfortunate - left holding our jellybeans - Canadians, which is MK6. My issue on this rom has been battery drain, although the rom is quite stable, and I'm wondering if the 4.3 modem could be the culprit (or at least one of them). Battery stats shows Cell Standby is using about 20 percent of battery on LTE, and I never get more than two signal bars with LTE enabled. Anyone else with similar findings? Does this sound like it could be fixed with a modem upgrade once one arrives?

Find the mk6 modem odin file (modem.bin) and flash in odin.... check my screenshot... installed 4.4.2 (Danvh's rom) then flashed modem. I was on mk6 but was having connection issues also....

Hey thanks for the quick response. I'll definitely do that when I get home and report back with results. I didn't know that the modem could become corrupted after a rom flash, so I'm hoping this fixes it. Do you happen to know if this is a fairly common problem?

There have been quite a few complaints about data across most 4.4.2 roms, unitl we get the matching modem, MK6 is the best we can do. I know my data did improve flashing MK6 after flashing the rom even though I was already on MK6....
So I flashed the MK6 modem again yesterday - twice, to be sure - and honestly it's about the same. Not seeing any real difference at all, so I'm thinking this is probably as good as it gets until the new OTA gets pushed. Thx Gage for ur help on this
Edit: Fixed using this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53502055&postcount=16
Newer ROMs don't seem to have the correct settings for the Ting APN. Make sure the network type is strictly CDMA/LTE and in particular that the APN Type is set as both DEFAULT and as mms (default, mms).
Hey guys, hoping someone can help me out here.
I'm on the "Ting" cell network using an LS980. Resurrect Remix ROMs worked well for me up until the 5.3.8 update (5.3.7 was the last version that still gave me cell data). The new 5.3.9 also causes issues and the SIM card even completely locks itself at times as it attempts to contact the network.
I just installed the latest Blisspop nightly ROM and am having the same issue. I know that older LiquidSmooth ROMs were also working properly for me aafter I used one of them as a Plan-B from Resurrect.
If anyone has any ideas as to what the issue could be please let me know. I'm going to try tinkering with my radio files soon and see if I get anywhere.
Bumping. sorry but this is getting really frustrating. I tried flashing the ZVC and ZV8 modems and it didn't make a difference.
ZVC modem actually crashed my phone (running Blisspop 2.2 latest nightly, stock kernel, TWRP 2.7.x recovery) after attempting to flash the ZVC modem without clearing the cache/dalvik afterwards.
I've now restored my phone to factory, stock ZVE ROM and rooted using StumpRoot. I'll be putting on the TWRP recovery soon.
If anyone has any ideas as to why I'm having radio/modem/signal problems on any Resurrect ROM past 5.3.7 and with the new Blisspop please let me know. I really want to get back on a non-bloated, up to date ROM.
>tfw
Bumping again. My phone is actually having a few other odd issues now after having to go back to stock with the ZVE .tot and re-rooting/recovery...
I'm still mostly concerned with the data signal though. I'll sort the rest out myself.
PLS SUM1
Ayyyyy Lmao
Ok here is what is been happening so far..
I was on Kitkat 4.4.4 on a i9505 (can't remember the baseband info for that model - never had issues with it). I decided to update. So I downloaded a LP ROM and went ahead and backed up and then installed it. Everything seemed to be working fine except my mobile data connection. It would be stuck on 3G or H+ and when it hit the LTE (4G) it would have one bar. I never had this issue before. I was always on full LTE bars as the tower isn't far from my house.
I followed instructions n how to install new modem with LTE and how to update the bootloader accordingly. I tried more than 15 different modems with no luck.
When that failed, I flashed the stock LP ROM from SamMobile - same issue. So I decided to downgrade again to KitKat and flashed another ROM from SamMobile which is issued by Optus Australia and that failed too.
It's like there is a setting that isn't changing with flashing ROMs and stock ROMS. Basebands get updated and nothing.. I'm barely downloading at 600kbs where I was averaging minimum 1.5mb/s.
I don't know what else I've missed.. surely the stock KK ROM would've fixed the issue.. but nothing, as if I don't have LTE anymore.
You're help is much appreciated.
Over this issue =\ just want it gone.

I have flashed anything and everything to fix this issue with no luck.
Hello All,
Please forgive me if this is the wrong area to post this, this is my first post here.
I have a Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 that I purchased. The previous owner had it rooted and the leaked Lollipop 5.0 installed. I tried to flash it back to stock (Australian) however it near bricked it. It was running really slow, a hell of a lot of lagging. I installed the DirtyUnicorn Lollipop 5.0 custom rom, and the phone runs fine, except for the fact it has no radio (i.e. no 4G/3G/2G connectivity and no telephony).
I searched for days and days on end looking for a modem/baseband compatible but nothing seems to work. Would anyone have any info on how to get the radio working? I really don't care about going back to full stock, as long as I can use the radio. I have included some photos of the system info and the sticker under the battery.
Thanks for your help,
Christopher H.
Restore your backed up EFS .
Pointless flashing a modem with no IMEI .
Hello! I have problem with my phone. I was on Cyanogenmod, but then i wanted to flash that resurection rom or whatever its called. Booted it up, but there was very weak or no network. Then I decided to reflash stock rom. On the first time there was no signal too, but reflashed again and everything was ok. I remembered that Touchwiz is unusable and flashed again CM. On the first moment, signal was ok, but after while it started to lag. Yesterday flashed back the stock rom, and for that moment everything was ok. Waked up this morning, and what do i see?? Yes, there it`s again. Weeak or no signal. Emergency calls only.
I checked that my IMEI is not changed. Have reflashed modem with odin, sometimes thinked that it was working, but reception keeps bad. Is anyone having same issue? Maybe you can tell me how to fix this and help me?
Actual signal in my house and everywhere is good, but all problems started when I wiped all data and flashed resurection rom or whatever.
Did you check proper support for the rom? Some roms in development(like one of the versions of the CM for the a300fu don't have properly working wifi
