how to enable GSM network on CM 12.1 jfltespr ? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hi fellas,
recentelly install CM 12.1 on my Galaxy S4 sprint SPH-L720
this ROM as i can see only has support to CDMA network, i am from Brasil and i am using a GSM carrier.
when i purchase this phone i was able to unlock default Android 4.x to works with GSM, but now with this new custom ROM, as i can see there is no feature to enable this.
i tryed to install a CM 12.1 international version with GMS... but i was blocked by CWM (version not supported by this phone).
do you have any light about it?

you must install roms for sgh-i337m
Using Claro in Puerto Rico?
roms for gt-i9505 support if your team is sgh-i337m... my phone is sgh-i337m variant and this compatible install roms, which are SGH-M919 and SGH-9505
I f you want to saty on the rom you have now, check your APN settings, if you have the i337m and want a different rom, check out mapleleaf, it is close to stock and specifically for th i337m. You will need to flash modem NC1 through Odin PC.

[Q] How to use GSM SIM on Samsung Galaxy S 4 (Sprint SPH-L720) with 4.4.2 ROM?

Hi, I'm using the phone on GSM network outside the US, it had no problem when on 4.3.
After installing the 4.4.2 ROM (it is Sac's custom ROM based on official 4.4.2) I find it does not work with GSM SIM. There is no APN setting available, mobile network has no GSM option either.
Is there some hidden trick to re-enable GSM support on 4.4? Thank you.

[Q] Sprint rom on international Note 3

I would love to install KK 4.4.4 from sprint on my international N9005. Is this possible?
I'm not talking about an note 4 port or something that could be more than buggy. I currently use inofficial CM12, so my bootloader is unlocked and knox is tripped anyways. I wouldn't mind if LTE doesn't work because it's not supported on my carrier plan, but I would highly appreciate a rom that's more stable than the cm nightly builds that I used for the last 3-4 months.
Hi u can install the tmobile version of sprint 4.4.4 that is located in tmobile android development. Its by Allenjthomsen. And also use the sprint 4.4.4 kernel which is avalaible there.

Flashing GSM rom on VZW S5?

I have a VZW S5 (SM-G900V), it's "converted" to a dev edition, I've been running KLTEVZW roms just fine on it, but it hasn't and won't be used on VZW again, just AT&T. I really don't need or want CDMA bands or support. Is there a way I can just flash a regular KLTE version of cyanogenmod? I actually tried, and TWRP says the device type isn't supported.
You could try flashing the unified GSM version of cm13 in Flashfire or there is an unofficial cm13 klte build on this thread by temasek
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...4-cm11-rom-temaseks-unofficial-t2907450/pages it has a cm13 download on the first page

To add to this question... my CID is a 15 series Samsung eMMC chip. I currently have my Verizon S5 activated on MetroPCS and I have an issue with MMS and video calling not working. If I were to unlock my bootloader and flash a custom ROM such as Cyanogen, would that fix my MMS issue? It honestly seems to be a firmware related issue, maybe MMS is somehow coded into the firmware to only work on the Verizon network. The video calling seems to be locked down to force end users to pay for the feature before it is available.

Install any other custom rom like Resurrection Remix Nougat or Lineage Oreo rom...It should provide you LTE connectivity...You will get their thread links in the rom section...
After you install either of the above roms, you can enter *#*#4636#*#* in your phone's dailer & change the connectivity to LTE if you don't get it automatically after installing the rom...
If the phone has a locked bootloader, it cannot run custom ROMs unless the custom ROM is based on a stock ROM.
