Hello !
I hesitate if I flash a ROM or not. Should I install a CUSTOM ROM or stay STOCK version? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the ROM that you have installed?
Happy new year!
The only disadvantage really is that by rooting you lose warranty forever.
To me warranty is important so I don't want to root it.
If for you isn't, root, flash custom Tom and kernel and enjoy no rubbish apps, better battery, and more options to customise your mobile.

Hey there.
Was curious if this was something that was doable? It s a rom from the Xperia Z Ultra.

Thank you
I highly doubt that would be possible. An entire ROM?
More likely, would be some type of modified .apk's of the things you like from that ROM. just my $.2 I could be way off
Has anyone had any experience with this method? an do you think it would work?

Hi!
I need good stable ROM. I've used a lot of systems, but each had a random resets. What do you recommend as a stable ROM? I have gen 2
Sorry for my English
Almost all roms out there are fairly stable AFAIK so it could be a hardware issue.
Try reducing the max. freq by 1-2 steps and see if it still reboots.
According to me the best rom is the Swedish Snow RLS7

Don't forget Eco CM7. Been using it for over a year now.
Eco CM7 and Swedish Snow RLS7 are according to me the most stable but I personally liked the Eco just because it has a small following at modaco forums
Why it's no custom rom based on stock for Tablet Z ? And a small number mods for stock ?
I have locked bootloader on my tablet and i must stay on stock and i don't have any choice. I must have normal stock or i must do something myself.
It's a weird because all xperia's have thier own mods for stock and for us is nothing

so, ill anserw you with a example:
im using sgp321 but also Xperia T with stock 4.3 android but modded by someone, so its mean ive xperia z2 home.apk, settings, bravia engine 7, and much more, because sony sucks and ill no more recive an update fe. straight to 4.4... with xpeira tablet z1, you have became 4.4, so its the same firmware as xperia tablet z2. the same laggy settings (yea, with newest update xtz2 is also laggy -.-'), home launcher, ect.
another custiomization and ported apps you can install with xposed or from or from android 4.4 devices froums (explecielly from Xperia Z non-tablet). or unlock yours bootloader and install whatever you want.
thats all.
Hi guys, I'm waiting for my bootloader code from Huawei assistance in order to root my phone; I would like to install a new modded rom, preferably with Nougat. I know most of the roms have several problems/bugs, so I'm asking you: which one should I choose? I'm looking for a stable and smooth rom (maybe with a bit of battery optimization too).
Or, if Marshmallow roms are stabler and smoother, which one would you suggest me?
Thanks guys! :fingers-crossed:

I know that some people like AOSPA the most for battery and RROS for Customization
Thanks
I've read the same, but I wonder if the roms are both very stable check in their threads.

Hi Guys!
I have a question. I'm totally not into custom roms and stuff. My question is - which is the best custom ROM for daily use for SM-J320FN for now? The only things I need: the ROM needs to be stable, very easy to use, just like a normal Android, it should be based on some newer versions of Android (now I have 5.1.1) and most importantly - I expect the ROM to make my phone faster. My phone became very laggy recently. I'm really not into phones so I want to avoid lots of additional troubles after installing any kind of ROM. I want to install it and use it without worries from the first day. What would you recommend?
Thank you very much!
I recommend RR N. Clean Android, no Samsung bloatware, more internal storage space than stock ROM and highly customizable.
Its only cons are small problems with Wifi and hotspot.
If you prefer Samsung Experience ROM's I recommend Re DreamUX ROM for you. But that ROM has more bugs (like qs and notification panel drop screen flickering or setting password FC).
